I got Mario Kart Wii!

Finally I can play a game online on the Wii! and I have no friends...haha. I'll find some people to add soon, after my last exam on the 16th. I've only played for an hour or so as a guest so I don't know my friend code yet. The 64 levels bring back so many memories, the block fort and donut level in battle were some of my favourites.

Hopefully when SSBB reaches the island, I'll be able to play that online too...which should be soon-ish!

random stuff...

* I beat San Andreas in December 2004, & have been waiting for the next GTA game ever since. So, I've been preoccupied with GTA IV, & it's been hard just trying to find time to play because I've been really busy lately. Waking up at 2am to play a game doesn't sound healthy. playing the UK version I can actually see Niko all beat up and bruised when he is low on health, and no, I don't plan on witnessing Niko doing his thing with hookers which I'm told is a little more detailed than the Australian version =/

* I was thinking of getting a DS last year, decided against it & got other things intead like a laptop.

* played Uncharted: Drake's Fortune...in February? sometime. What a flawless game, I didn't play for long but WOW. It sucks when I play 360 now & I have to listen to the loud noise the stupid machine makes. I also played the demo for Heavenly Sword on PS3 in February. Really fun. Still haven't tried out R&C unfortunately.

* Super Mario Galaxy - I can tell I'm not far away from finishing it. I'm too busy with GTA IV now so the Wii can keep collecting dust, besides my participation in the Everybody Votes Channel now & then, I love that!

* I've hardly played COD4 online, & promised some cousins I would play them and I will if I can tear myself away from GTA IV long enough. I guess I should just convince them to get GTA IV...

* I'm finding GS really boring now. If it weren't for GTA Legends, I wouldn't bother coming here at all.

* Got rid of a lot of old PS2 games I didn't want anymore.

* Did I mention GTA IV is a masterpiece?

So, first off, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and all the rest of it. I know I sure did.

It came out a month ago, but I played Super Mario Galaxy today. That game blows my mind in so many different ways. Thank you Nintendo! Although I wish there was a release date for SSBB in Australia. Nintendo seem to hate Australia, waiting four months plus for a game to release that people are playing in North America is not cool, Nintendo. Yeah. Totally not cool.

I'll most likely be getting a white DS Lite really soon. Yay for me. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm thinking like Phantom Hourglass, Elite Beat Agents, WarioWare, New Super Mario Bros., Phoenix Wright, Mario Kart DS, Hotel Dusk... hmm Jam Sessions and MAYBE Nintendogs? Animal Crossing, is that any good?

I've got that protective case for my Wii remote... it looks funny. Haha

So much for losing interest in games, huh? I haven't played anything in a while until SMG just today though... Really, any input about DS game recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I know I haven't been around here as much lately, and I'm sorry. Typical of me, I have a good excuse too.

The truth is, lately I haven't felt like gaming much anymore...even when I've had the time and opportunity. Even though I had over a two year hiatus from gaming years ago at one stage, I guess this isn't something you can just quit. Who am I kidding anyway? There are soooo many awesome games coming out next year, mainly because so many have also been delayed.

Anyway, I've resigned as an officer of PS3 - The Real Next Gen union. It's bursting with activity once again and has a lot of new updates and features, I can't even keep up with that place. I haven't left or anything though, I'll still be around now and then and I'm still an officer at GTA Legends. I only post at those two unions and sometimes at the GS AU board.

And that's about it.

Oh yeah, one more thing I want to mention... I've "seen" >_> a little bit of Manhunt 2, uncut. So, the first 3 levels are called Awakening, Ghosts, and Sexual Deviants. Hmm, disturbing game is all I have to say. Maybe I've become more desensitized to violence or I'm just more afraid of guys wearing hockey makes carrying around meat cleavers covered in blood... but I found the first game even more disturbing from the very beginning to be honest.

Ok, now that's it.

Yup, it's just hit August 9 which means it's my birthday!! wow 20 sounds so old... O_o

Sup everyone? I know, it's been a while so where do I begin?

Maybe with the most recent gaming addiction I've had. Yes, none other than Rainbow Six Vegas. I'm still playing that game and now with the Black and Red packs on the marketplace free to download I can't see myself getting sick of this game anytime soon. I've already downloaded the black pack, but I haven't had the chance to try it out just yet. The Red pack not only has new multiplayer maps, but also new game modes. Yeah, I definitely need to try this new content out soon.

PC gaming has been pretty much obsolete to me for a while now. I haven't played Counter-Strike in well over a year and I finally uninstalled Steam earlier this year. Yup, it's officially over. And has been for a while now...dead to me. Unless I ever want to spend a load of money getting a new pc. 360 and Wii are doing just fine for me though. Besides, R6V is a good enough replacement for me. I love that game.

I finished Kameo: Elements of Power on the weekend. All I can say about that game is WOW! Please bring on a sequel already!! One of... no, the best adventure game on the Xbox 360! So there's not a lot of replay value, unless you decide to play co-op with a friend, or try to get A rankings on all the levels. Does anyone even play this game online? Anyway, it's an amazing game from the incredible worlds to the unique Elemental Warriors and their awesome techniques. I just wish the game was longer and there were even more levels to explore.

And look! A new banner! I know, it sucks. I just used a wallpaper. I'm thinking a Rainbow Six or Kameo banner would look cool, but we'll see. You try working with just MS Paint... impossible!

Meanwhile I'm going to try and stop messin' around killing, tormenting, running over and hacking up zombies in numerous ways in Dead Rising and try to actually complete the game, as well as going back to San Andreas now and then, edging closer and closer to 100% completion. Like that will ever happen, but what the hell right?
