Kirilenko Cries Again
I am tired of NBA players crying about the number of opportunities they get to score. Why can't they just be happy to be part of a winning team with a chance to do something special? Kirilenko is just the most recent professional athlete to feel sorry for himself about his offensive opportunities. The worst part of the whole thing is that if he would just play the great hustle basketball that he is capable of he would get the stats that he wants. His problem is that he spends all his time pouting and doesn't put his heart into the game like he used to.
Here is to hoping that he wakes up and realizes he has the chance to be a part of something special and he helps the Jazz bring home that illusive title.

Another boring NBA Finals
Well, it is now official, we have just seen one of the most boring NBA Finals in my recent memory. That series was not competitive at all and just goes to show how dominant the Western Conference is right now. Even though I am a Western Conference boy I hate to see the Spurs come out with the win in this one. I have grown tired of the Spurs and there constant winning. The ARE good and I will not argue that, but I really feel like they get a lot of calls going their way because of who they are. The more that I watch Manu Ginobli, the more I think that he could be the dirtiest player in the league, yet he finishes games with 2 or 3 fouls. Explain that.
Anyhow, now that the NBA season is over there are no sports worth watching until the NFL season begins. Septembet can't come soon enough.

No More Music for the Jazz
Well, it is all over for the Jazz. They had a great run, but it had to come to an end eventually. I can't say that I am glad that they lost the Western Conference Finals, but I can't say that I am disappointed with there playoff run either. No one expected them to come back and beat the Rockets, not many gave them a shot to beat the fast-paced Warriors, and nobody on this green earth could have picked them to make it to the Conference Finals. So when I step back and look at what they achieved this year I have to be happy.
The only down side to their success this year however, is the expectations for them next year. Only time will tell how they respond.
