School's out...
...For Christmas! We get two weeks, just enough to cover Christmas and the New Year. I've got homework for, like, five different cla-sses! And not just exercise X or question Z. Actual papers with an index and an introduction and a conclusion and everything! Don't the teachers know what "vacation" means? And it's so obvious that they're only making us do this because they couldn't teach everything they wanted and are unloading the rest on us! Ugh!
Anyway, am currently listening to Enya. It's very nice and calm. I like it. I also like System of a Down, but they're not so much with the nice and calm. Except for Roulette. That one really catches you by surprise. I love the chorus.
Tonight I am going out with some friends. We went to school together until the fourth grade, then we scattered like leaves on the wind. We usually go out two or three times a year. We're doing the whole "dinner and a movie" thing. Dinner will probably mean McDonald's. Movie will probably mean a 30 minutes of trying to figure out what to watch followed by choosing whichever starts next, even if we don't really want to watch it.
Tomorrow I will have an exchange of presents with my classmates. And watch a movie, because one of them has a projector in his room so we watch movies there.
Then Sunday I'll go out with my friends from the Zoo ATL and we'll have lunch and... that's right, watch a movie.
Tuesday will be my mom's birthday so we'll have a dinner with the friends of the family. I don't really like the friends of the family. The only people my age are boys and they just talk about wrestling and football (well, soccer). The girls are all at least three years older and talk about nothing but clothes and make-up and "oh, I've been losing weight and my dietist says my waist is becoming smaller but you can't tell right now because I swell when I've got my period". Yes, one of them said that once. I wonder if I can convince my friends to arrange something that day. Probably not.
Well, this is getting long so I guess I'll leave you with a random fact: I like Doctor Who. I watched the first two seasons on tv and am now downloading the third because they won't air it. They're replacing it with Torchwood, which made me hate it a little bit. But just a little. I'm totally going to give it a chance. Although I must say it seems to be very focused on sex. Which is bad, in case you were wondering.
I wish Donna had agreed to accompany the Doctor. Martha kinda gets on my nerves, being so much like Rose. She can't win like that, basically because Rose was first and Rose was, well, better. In my humble opinion. Donna, on the other hand, is more feisty and less "I wuv him so vewy vewy much and he doesn't even notice". But Donna will be back in the fourth season so yay.
Bye.
