As promised, I was back for E3. Now I'm going back to inactivity. Hope you all had fun during E3. I'm a bit disappointed by the lack of any good announcements that interested me (there were several that happened in the weeks leading up to E3 anyway so it's not all bad) but I'll be looking for any info on whether past games like Brawl and Mario Kart will use it.
I was hoping E3 would help me decide on my next console, but it really didn't all that much.
It's not that big of a deal though, as I'm poor anyway. ![]()
Anyway, I don't think I'll be back until I finally get around to finishing FFTA2. When I do return, you'll get my review of it, so it's not all bad. If anyone wants to know of an alternative place to contact me, I've somewhat relocated myself to Gametrailers. I go by the same name and avatar, just without the underscore in the so I'm not very difficult to find.
Later. It was nice seeing everybody and talking with you all again.
Thanks to two thread on the Wii board, Nintendo's poor conference has been pretty much healed for me.In Thread 1, you have to look through all of the links to really see why. The TC left after some of the better news came out. Thread 2 is self explanatory.
But never has it been this bad. Nintendo did not show one game the entire show that interested me. Not one game. I honestly don't want to know what the other games Nintendo has ready (so far Cpt. Rainbow, Animal Crossing, and Wii Sports 2 are new 1st party, Reggie said they had 7 new 1st party titles in an interview a while back) because I'll just be more disappointed. I knew for a while that Nintendo wanted to grab a new audience and I was ok with that, but if they aren't going to show thier first party titles that are focused on their fanbase, I honestly don't think I should bother with their other titles if they are going to focus more on getting new gamers instead of satisfying their current ones.
But even though Nintendo themselves isn't showing support, the 3rd parties are still keeping me busy. Recenty in my Gametrailers blog, I said I was short on money for the games announced so far. My list is still unchanged, and so is my money problem. I'm not selling my Wii, and I'll still enjoy it, but I'm going to think twice before I ever buy a Nintendo product again.
Yeah, this ole codger got slapped with a 1 day suspension for giving someone a link to Brawl mp3s... I guess I'll never do that again...

I'm just glad it ended before E3 started! I don't know what I would have done without being able to watch E3 here and then go tro- errr post in the forums. It's been a tradition of mine for a couple years now, and I don't want that changing.

This one is obviouslyFragile themed. Again, no ratings or comments. >_> mean people...
I tried out a new fading technique which my pal FireEmblem_Man helped figure out how to do. I couldn't really find a good text, so I just tried to make it fancy lookin.
