Here are my top five favorite Nostalgia Critic episodes.
5. Mortal Kombat 2- I've seen the first film of Mortal Kombat, and for a videogame based film. It's a good movie, despite the fact that prettymuch all videogame based films suck. Now when Nostalgia Critic got dozens of emails saying that Mortal Kombat 1 was not as bad as he thought, it's Mortal Kombat 2 that deserves the bashing. He reviewed it, and I finally saw more on how bad it was. I mean, look at Princess Katana's mother. Look at how bad the fight scenes are. They switched actors for Johnny Cage, Sonia Blade, and Raiden. The only actors familiar enough to me are for Liu Kang and Princess Katana. Even listen to how bad the story is. Doug pulled some pretty awesome jokes on this one, an example is when someone said Shao Kahn's name, he pulls a clip of William Shatner shouting "Kahn" from the film "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn".
4. Full House- Oh man, I felt like I was going to faint when I was reminded of this show. Bad acting, horrid humor, and... I can't think of anything else. Luckily, the Critic decided to pull of some great jokes on this show, like on how he thinks the horse in the final episode is feeling miserable, and even hearing a subliminal message from the Olsen twins characters. I hope either he, or Nostalgia Chick review "The Nanny", that show was almost as bad as Full House.
3. Sonic the Hedgehog- There was two Sonic shows he was reviewing, the awful as hell "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog", and SatAM. The first show was so bad, he was going crazy and shooting his gun at the characters. He hatedthe fact that everything looked effortless. And evenhated it so much, Doug made fun of it again by making up lyrics to the theme. He liked SatAM, but went sad and angrywhen it was cancelled when it was going to the second season. Can't blame him, that looked awesome.
2. Batman and Robin- What is wrong with this Batman film? Well, let's see, it acts as cartoony as that Adam West show. There's lots of stupidity, such as the bat credit card (which drove the Critic insane). And has a lot that makes NO sense. Like I said about the bat credit card and how he went insane, he also did a Marry Poppins parody that was also was very hilarious.
The winner is...
Good Son- Okay, I said numerous times that this is my most favorite one. Not only that, it was my very first Nostalgia Critic episode. While Doug didn't say a word, he made it funny by inaudiable rage, and random sound effects. Not only that, the most timeless face ever from hearing Macaulay Culkin swearing his strongest.
My next blog will be my top five AVGN episodes (if I haven't done it already).
