Hello. I'm a 30 yr old, living in the bay area. I like to keep an open mind about things, and like to be around people who don't spread hate around. I think I'm one of the nicest guys on Gamespot, so let's chat! But you probably want to hear about my interest in games! I am an avid gamer. My favorite types of games are fantasy based RPG online and offline games, like Everquest 2, World of Warcraft, and Vanguard. I like games that scare me also, like Silent Hill. Some of my other favorite games include Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Final Fantasy, Silent Hill, Resident Evil 4, and others of those types. I'm not into sports or racing games, and I only like a few shooters, that I consider the cream of the crop. I also like TV shows like Lost, Battlestar Gallactica, Simpsons, and more!

This Generation Will Endure

360 and PS3 have a lot of life left in them. With focus on gameplay, online play, and less on improving graphics, I think both systems will last longer than the standard 5 years. In the 90s, everyone wanted better and better graphics, so companies were obsessed with making the next best thing. Now, games have evolved past that (like movies have evolved past CGI showcases), and gamers want new ideas, good stories, and originality). Those can all be achieved with these systems.
