Well then, time for a new blog I guess.
Well I tried Spore. Worked well for a bit, but then kept ending randomly, giving error reports, and such on my brothers PC so he uninstalled it. Next I installed it on my laptop, same thing, then stopped working. I should also note that during these buggy times, whenever you would go to create something, or go to the next stage (cell, tribal, etc...) it would end as well. So Spore is a good game from what I managed to play (from cell to a little in civilization), just has many bugs to work out. I'm not the only one with these problems, I searched it up on Google and found a huge amount of people going through the same BS. The best part of the game for me was creating creatures, and then seeing how the game manages to make them work, by this I mean how they will end up moving, and how they will attack, an amazing engine. Again, good game, but flawed by error reports, and crashes. Anyone else with this blasted problem?
Next is the sushi. I went to a real sushi restaurant for the first time. Had a "Salmon Lunch" which consisted of broiled salmon, some salad looking thing, raw green snow peas, rice, and random vegetables under the salmon, it was damn good. Next, since this was my first time having "real sushi" (I'll get into the "fake sushi" soon), my dad ordered some stuff. He ordered Rainbow Rolls I think it was called. Freakin awesome. I had them with ginger and dipped it in soya sauce. I have no idea what was in it since, as the name implies, it is ranbow coloured, which means theres all kinds of stuff in there that you don't know about...so much stuff that it is very colourful and looks awesome even if some people don't like it. The bowls and stuff we ate in were awesome too, the salmon was in a cool bento, and I also like how there are so many plates for different things. Next time I'll try Unagi, which is eel for those of you who don't know.
Anyways, now the fake sushi. Any Canadians ever been to Wongs or Mandarin (I don't know if these exist in the US)? Well their sushi sucks compared to these. I didn't like theirs, and it gives people bad impressions about sushi, making them think it tastes bad. Next time I go to Mandarin (very soon actually, I have a party I'm going to there) I'll compare them more accurately.
For those who have not yet had sushi or played Spore, I recommend you try them...at the same time O__O!
Or not...

18Aug 08I can't get past volume 7 of Yakitate!! Japan because I only had up to volume 6 downloaded, and now my manga site is DOWN!!! It's been down for like atleast 3 days now! the-evil-empire.net seems to be down for me...Can someone else check if it's down for them too please? Because I think something funky is happening with my internet...Google redirects me to google.jp...yes, Japanese Google! I emailed them a WTF message, and they said they found the problem and it should be fixed within the month. Next, youtube redirects me to uk.youtube, another WTF. Haven't got to them though since UK is english anyways. That being said the Japanese Google is so much cooler. They have different things on their homepage (we have most of it on ours too, its just hidden). They have a page that shows you routes and stuff for the Shinkansen, which I found to be awesome and damn useful if you live in Japan. As for me, doesn't do me much while I'm in Canada.
Anyways, someone check the-evil-empire.net for me pl0x...- Posted Aug 18, 2008 3:32 pm PT

After reading Especensors blog about it I searched for it, and found it linked on youtube. I just watched it and it was AMAZING! If you haven't seen it, go see it http://2008olympics2008.blogspot.com/.
When they made the olympic symbol float I kind of thought for a sec that they had secretly invented holograms or something. Now I think it was just lights and they pulled it up with ropes or something. Then there were those guys drawing with their bodies, and lets not forget those people from before who were banging on those things to make lights and stuff. They were perfectly synchronized, everytime they did something a nice BOOM went off because they all did it at the same time. Amazing. Then those fireworks! What else do you expect from a country who probably makes all the fireworks in the world... Next those dragon performances (always thought those were cool) were nice too and the puppeteers. Next the dancing with those green clothing things, awesome. Let's not forget that she did her dancing on basically a large piece of paper that was being carried by a bunch of people. How do you perform for so many people for an event that will be around forever anyways? Next, the martial arts. I've always been really interested in Martial Arts, though the reasons why have greatly changed over all these years. The Tai Chi displays were very nice. I've always found Tai Chi interesting, the way it flows like water and is calm like a breeze and is known to enhance life in many ways. But at the same time such a calm art can also be used for self-defense if one knows how to do so. I really liked it, it was awesome. Lastly, the music! The music played throughout was great, especially the music performance. The sheer amount of people that were a part of this opening is another thing that makes it amazing. You see a bunch of little light, only to find that each one of them is a seperate person with a light suit creating those designs and etc...
I don't think any other country could have made a better opening. And if they could, it would probably cost them several times the price China paid to do theirs what with their cheap labour and such
So if you beat them one way (I doubt it's possible), you can't beat them the other. - Posted Aug 17, 2008 5:27 pm PT

OK, just watched Ponyo on a Cliff. It was very good quality, minus the 3 incidents when a person got up. Anyways, looked amazing! They didn't use any CG in this, it was all done by hand. It looked so good they should continue to their old ways of doing it by hand, though drawing like a million or two pictures is probably a huge task. Anyways, there were no subs but I understood some of what they were saying, and the movie itself isn't hard to understand since Miyazaki made it so that a 5 year old could understand it. For the record, the storm scene in this movie was so cool I almost sh!t myself. The way it was done with such enormous waves, high winds, how Sosuke almost flew off into the raging ocean out of nowhere, everything about it. I want the subs to come out though so I can see everything they're saying as I'm not sure about 4 things.
1. Who was on the phone at the beginning. From what I understand it was her husband or boyfriend or something.
2. Who is the man with red hair and why does he want Ponyo so bad? I think he is trying to get Ponyo for that red headed mermaid Goddess woman thing. Possibly even Ponyos dad? I don't think he is his dad, just throwing ideas out there.
3. Who and what is that red headed mermaid Goddess thing? At the end of the movie Sosuke asks her if shes Ponyos mom and she says yes. Which should obviously mean that she is. But was she just saying that so he could give up Ponyo? Or maybe she actually is. Either way, I want to know WTF she is! Is she a mermaid, or a Goddess?
4. This is probably related to the red headed mermaid thing, but what exactly IS Ponyo? A fish? A God of somesort? Or just some special creature with powers?
Anyways, bottom line is that the movie was good, I'm not disappointed at all. Did I mention how good the people look? Kind of like a cross between the older Ghibli movies and the new ones in some ways, looked really cool. Was probably one of the first things I noticed when I first saw Sosuke. If you want to know where I downloaded it PM me.

Well, as the title implies, I'll be more busy than I have been, starting Tuesday. Then, when our business kicks off, I'll be super busy. As in, you may think I died.
My real reason for making a new blasted blog was to make an announcement. Because I'll be very busy from now on, if someone finds a version available for download (demonoid or something, anything) of PONYO ON A CLIFF WITH ENGLISH SUBS PLEASE PM ME IMMEDIATELY!!!! It is a very important matter to me...
I know it probably won't be available for a while since it just came out, but I'll be waiting for someone to PM me (and checking for myself when I can)
Thanks

Read another volume of Houshin Engi, making a total of 4, and still didn't find it interesting in the least. It was a chore rather than a pleasure to read, so I dropped it as of right now. I'm going to start downloading Yakitate!! Japan as suggested by UZ. Should be good.
Ghost in the Shell is freaking awesome so far, and I'm sure it will stay awesome. I already read the manga, but the anime is freaking awesome too. I'll do a comparison between the manga and the anime after I'm done all the movies and the series. I still have to read GITS 2 actually... I've only read GITS 1, and 1.5, haven't found 2 on my manga site yet. It's there, but it has an error in the DL. So I'll search somewhere else for it. Anyone know of a place to get it? Preferably non-censored by our Westerney ways.
A few other things, got a new AV program. 2 actually. Deleted AVG 8 (not the free edition) and put in ESET Nod32 Smart Security and ThreatFire. Pretty 1337 setup I have going on now. I WAS going to also get Comodo, but when I went to their site, to prove how good of a firewall they have they gave this file basically saying "if your firewall doesn't catch that (which it won't lolz0rz) then ours is better than yours, so get ours". So I downloaded it, ran it, and my ThreatFire brought up a WTF window which allowed me to terminate this thing. SoI guess my ThreatFire is just as good, and I didn't get Comodo.
Not a big RAM footprint either, ESET is taking up basically 20k or RAM right now, and TF is taking up about 5k, in total 25 MB. Which is not bad at all, considering I have 2 firewalls up now, real-time scanners scanning for viruses, spyware, spam, rootkits, etc... and the cool thing about threat fire, is that it also searches for suspicious activity! It's different from other virus programs, because whereas they need known virus signatures to catch viruses, TF doesn't. TF doesn't need to know that the virus exists. TF simply searches for things that rootkits, viruses, and other crap do and brings out a WTF window if the spidey senses are telling it that somethings fishy. I recommend TF to everyone to use ALONGSIDE their current AV program. If you need help choosing a AV program, go to www.av-comparatives.org they do tests on a bunch and rate them.
These blogs are kind of like a ginormous MSN convo.

Since my MSN is not working, and I can't make my own forum...I'll have to blog my stuff (then probbaly delete the "MSN blogs" stuff after...
Anyways, I watched a movie called Tekkon Kinkreet, by Studio 4°C. It was &!$@* najeeb (lol UZ tell your friend to read this). It wasn't bad, just weird as sh!t. The story was pretty good actually. I just thought I should see a Studio 4° C movie. And, ofcourse, as I predicted, it doesn't compare to Studio Ghibli, in any way. Story wise, and art wise IMO. Hell they didn't even have a signature logo opening thing like Ghiblis trademark blue screen saying "Studio Ghibli" and a picture of Totoro above the text; or Walt Disneys rainbow thing over the castle...Well, back when Disney used to make movies worth half a sh!t they used the rainbow thing. Now they have this long, weird 3D thing that goes around a castle a few times with fireworks in the back. Oh well...Oh yeah, finally downloading the Ghost in the Shell anime, 11 GB for all the series and movies O.O
One final thing, has anyone read Houshin Enbu, and can verify that it will become good at some point? I'm reading it now...and...not so good...I'm wondering if I should set aside like, 3 hours or something to read it because it will get good, or if I should just quit before I get through like 20 volumes. I'm on volume 4 right now, and I'd rather be reading whats next on my list. Which would be Yakitake!! Japan.

DAMN IT'S OVER! But it was DAMN GOOD. Best thing that Nick has ever (and probably WILL ever air) aired, and the best series I've seen on TV. It had everything that makes things good. Not like Naruto and other animes with their crappy voices. When an anime comes to the west, it's almost like a secret plot made up by the governments to make people stop watching animes, they PURPOSELY choose the worst voice actors possible, and make them do voices on things like Naruto.
Anyways, apparently the series will continue in other ways, comics, maybe another series, or movies (besides the 3 live action movies coming out). So I'm looking forward to all of those, and until then I have all the avatar episodes on the computer, so I'll be watching those all the time.

My first blog...
Anyways, I just resigned from a crap load of unions because of 1 of either 2 reasons:
1. I never went on it, and never planned on it
2. That specific union got boring for one reason or another
Actually, 3. Some other reason which I refuse to disclose publicly.
That is all...
