  Earthquake! =S 08.15.07

  Well I wanted my first blog post to be something not as tragic as an earthquake...but I have nothing to write about other subject.
  I live in Lima-Peru in a building which is 4 floors high (mi house is the last two floors). It all strated when I was watching tvin my mother's bedroom when I felt that the house started to shake. I thought it was a small tremor as we usually have so I turned of the t.v. slowly. It didn's stop and it was getting stronger so my sister carried my dog and we all went upstairs (even thought you don't think so,it's the safest place in my house) so nothing could fall on us. My aunt was really scared because she had never been in a tremor...neither an earthquake. My maid also went upstairs and we felt the boulding going side to side. Those were the longest 2 minutes in my life! While we were standing and praying, we could see some light on the sky but they were not thunders so everyone was thinkin 'it's the end...we dying today!'. But happily the 2-minutes earthquake was over and we go downstairs as fast as we could. We reached the park in front of my biulding and sat there waiting for my mother and my uncle to come. I started crying in the park, because believe it or not, I dind't cry during the earthquake. Phones were dead so we couldn't communicate. we were worried about everone. Everyone kept crying and after 30 minutes my mother finally came. I ran towards her like if I haven't seen her in 10 years and started crying. Nobody wanted to go to my house, so we went to check on my grandmother and everyone was fine.
  
  It was a HORRIBLE experience. This was the first time I had been in an earthquake and hopefully the last. we all got pretty scared. I really wish that something like this happens again in the world! =S
