  Review: Xbox: Urban Chaos: Riot Response

  I posted a review of the game Urban Chaos: Riot Response for the original Xbox. I finished the game a week or so ago, but just didn't get around to writing the review for it. GameSpot's: Link and Mine: Link. I was actually going to post the review here for anyone that was interested, but it went a bit long, lol. So, any interest and/or comments and/or review ratings would be awesome.

  Oh, and I got the Best of 2009 emblem today, so that makes me feel pretty special.

  Job Update

  I haven't posted a blog for a while mainly because I haven't been getting online nearly as much as I used to. I've been working almost full time at my new job, and when I get home, I'm drained. As I stated in the last blog, I'm a Switchboard Operator at my town's hospital, and it's amazing to see the volume of calls that come in. I'm officially off of my training for the daylight shift, and yesterday was my first day on my own. And, of course, at 8:30 in the morning, I had to coordinate a Trauma Code, which is called when bringing in an accident victim in really bad shape. People don't realize how much of an organization is run through the switchboard, but if the operator steps away from the console for a few moments, people could die.

  But, overall, it's decent job. The pay isn't as high as it should be, and with a degree from Bucknell University, I feel I should be doing something more, but it's a start. Once my probationary period is over, I would be able to bid over to other positions in the hospital before the jobs are available to the general public. And, with the other employees in my department, I might be able to pick up some more hours.

  And, because everyone knows that it's hard for me to go a post without listing more games I've gotten, these are the ones that I got through Steam during the holiday sale. They had some awesome prices. I hate digital download in theory, but for a cheapskate like me, it's hard to beat. Now I just have to get DSL so I can play the games...

  GaneStop #21: 7 More Games

  I'm sure everyone will be thrilled to read, but here are the lastest games froma visit to GameStop. Hopefully in this next week or so, I can get to f.y.e. and pick up some non-sport games. At this point, my addiction is too great to turn down any Xbox game I don't already have.
