Well on Friday night the 6th series of Peep Show ended. It seems to have been a really short 6weeks although I think that shows that I enjoyed it a lot! It ended with Sophie in labour so now I'm on tenterhooks for the next series when Mark will be a Dad. Lots of comic potential there!
But now I'm left without very much to watch! Can anyone reccomend me something?

Well, tonight is a very exciting night if you're a TV geek like me!
Strictly Come Dancing starts tonight on BBC and the early stages are always good for some really comically bad dancing. Also, Rav Wilding is on so that's enough of a reason to watch all by itself. And add to that the drama of a new judge and I'm waiting on tenterhooks for the show to start.
Then straight over to Channel 4 for Peep Show which I am such an addict of! I've been chain watching my box sets of the previous series in anticipation. Good old Mark and Jeremy back on.

Apparently I have just become an edior for Peep Show which is one of my favourite TV shows and one that is still on the go. Previously I have gained editorships for shows which are now long gone off the air so the task of taking over a continuing show is a new one.
And all this when I haven't submitted for it (or been on this site) for a long time. I assume that the previous editor retired and I had a high enough level of points to take over.
But I suppose that this might give me a new lease of life on here (here's hoping) so I might actually knuckle down and get some submitting done!

Well as you may or may not know, I've been doing my exams at uni this last week or so. I'm in the middle of my second year and I've had 3 exams lately!
Wednesday was my last one so now I have no more exams until May-ish time. So now I get to spend some more time online and in front of the TV until I go back and start all over again next week!

I probably won't be online again until after Christmas so I hope that everyone here has a great one!
In the dim and distant past of Christmas 2007 I said that I would get to 100 peopel editorships by this time. Oh well. I only got to 83 (which is a heck of a lot anyway!). University, the site redesign and general apathy got in the way I think.
Maybe I'll do it by next year!
Merry Christmas!

Well, I think we all know how much I love a bit of trivia! So here's some festive facts I've found around the internet!
- The 3 Kings in the nativity were called Casper, Balthazar and Melchior
- The Queen has made a TV Christmas message since 1957. But they were only live for 3 years until she started pre-recording them in 1960.
- Sir Isaac Newton's birthday was on Christmas day.
- In Japan, Father Christmas is known as Santa No Ojisan, which means Uncle Santa
- Mistletoe should be burnt on the twelfth night of Christmas otherwise couples who kiss under it will never get married.
- Tinsel was originally made in Germany as strips of real silver, but they lost their shine and artifical tinsel became more popular.
- Sir Henry Cole started the custom of Christmas Cards as he found that he was writing a lot of Christmas letters to friends and family and thought that having a standard card produced for all would save time.
- Tom Smith invented the Christmas Cracker as a way to buy sweets with a nice motto inside. He later found a way to make them crack.
- The Christmas film "It's A Wonderful Life" was originally a flop, but it was repeated so much on television that it eventually has become more highly regarded.
- Charles Dickins wrote "A Christmas Carol" in just 6 weeks in 1843.

Woohoo!
Just a quick blog seeing as how I have to set off for uni about 5 minutes ago!
But I just reached level 50

Had a new wave of enthusiasm for the site lately and have been submitting away for Anna May Wong and the delightfull gorgeously geeky David Mitchell!
So I think this site's starting to look up again!

Well I'm back at uni and already I'm finding myself sat in the library with nothing to do but amuse myself with some useless information! So here are some more of my useless facts! You never know they might come in handy one day.
1. "Canada" is an Indian word meaning "Big Village".
2. "Forty" is the only number which has its letters in alphabetical order.
3. 1 kg of lemons contain more sugar than 1 kg of strawberries.
4. 259200 people die every day.
5. 90% of bird species are monogamous; only 3% of animals are.
6. A chimpanzee can learn to recognize itself in a mirror, but monkeys can't.
7. A McDonald's straw will hold 7.7 ml, or just over one-and-a-half teaspoons of whatever you are drinking.
8. A person uses approximently fifty-seven sheets of toilet paper each day.
9. About 10,000,000 people have the same birthday as you.
10. According to statistics, Australian women are the most likely to have sex on the first date.

Well it's almost time to go back to uni and I have to say I'm actually really relieved and looking forward to it. I've missed my friends and all the people there a lot and I can't wait to get back to it all - although boring lectures are always something that I could do without.
I have been a total couch potato and TV addict lately and been submitting away like crazy although the number of guides I have hasn't actually gone up. Submitted a tonne of stuff for various different people that I'd never come across before though so maybe in the coming weeks they'll be added to my list of guides.
And I've added a couple of new shows to tv.com that I'm going to be trying and submitting for so I've got plenty to keep me busy coming up!
But I realised today that it'd been absolutely ages since I wrote a blog so I thought I'd do another one and keep you all up to date!
By the way, I've just been on a mad frenzy of submitting links for all the peope that I'm an editor for and I have now submitted 200 links. Does anyone else think that there should be some kind of emblem for when you get that far - or maybe to 100. Because the one that I have saying that I have submitted 1 link seems a bit paltry now!

Yay!
Today I just got my 80th person guide. The person was Shirley Jones who I had 34 points for for months and forgot about! lol
But as you may or may not remember, my goal was to get 100 guides by the end of 2008. I had 60 in January so at the half way mark I'm halfway there! - WooHoo -
Also, The Royal is back on ITV so I'm quite cheerful all round!

Well I'm in the middle of my first year university exams right now and I just realised that it's been a couple of months since I bothered to post anything on here. So I thought I'd best get typing in my few spare minutes!
Also, thanks to gr8lyknow for making me a Trusted Contributor for Aretha Franklin who I am a big fan of. So now I have 2 TCs, 2 Show guides and 77 person guides. But after these exams finish in a couple of days expect to see that number go up!
And I've reached level 46 so I'm hoping to get to level 50 soon!

.....for the Dancing on Ice final. I'm sure Philip Schofield will spend more of the show than usual shouting at an alarming level lol. Maybe I've enjoyed this series but it seems to have been really short - but then again anything where you get to see Daniel Whiston and Chris Fountain in tight trousers is bound to fly by!
I probably should be spending less time thinking about DOI and more time essay wrtiting to be fair. But given the choice between the aforementioned tight trousers and essays about ships it's not really a tough choice!

Well I wanted to get to 100 person guides before the end of the year. And I'm onto 70 now (well I will be tomorrow) so I think that I'm well on the way!
Also, is it just me or is Coronation Street getting really rubbish at the moment? The whole Sean/Jamie parent thing is getting really old really fast. Be glad soon when they're gone.
But there are some small joys on TV:
- Harry Hill's TV Burp just getting funnier and funnier every single week and I can't wait until Saturdays
-The Masterchef final - I might have got a bit too excited over a cooking competition but I am a bit of a closet fan!
-Dancing on Ice - getting even more and more exciting every week even though I dont get to see the gorgeous Daniel on it anymore now that Linda and him have been voted off.
And I'm aiming for the guides for some of the professional skaters from Dancing on Ice - a big task cos there's quite a few - and I've already got the amazing Torvill and Dean under my belt!

Well I've finally reached level 40. Is it just me or do the level 30's last for a long time! lol
I've found out that the editor for the show Pepper-Ann has retired so I'mworking towards my second show editorship - although I'm still quite a way off!
And I'm getting there with a few more person editorhips!
So all in all I'm in a good mood today!

Well I became the editor for both Alan Carr and Cilla Black in the last couple of days bringing my peron editorships up to 60. My goal is to get to 100 before the year is out. I think it'll be quite hard because all the obvious things I know have gone into getting these 60! lol
Also, my first TC for the amazing and talented Julie Walters, who I am a big fan of. So many thanks to Missybea for that!

TV has been really good lately -
- The Royal Today has started. And I'm a huge fan of The Royal so the updated verson is a great addition to my day!
- Dancing on Ice is back - even though it's on a Sunday instead of a Saturday night. It's exciting already and anything that has Fred Palascak and Daniel Whiston in tight pants is OK by me!
- Run of the House repeats on Trouble - Such a funny show and I love that it's on again while it's uni holidays so I get to watch it every morning!
