Well all good things come to an end its the last day of e3 2009 gamespots live coverage has been superb apart from ime still waiting on a couple of emblems but hey thats a minor gripe.ive watched every conference from microsoft ,ea ,ubisoft right through to the likes of sony and nintendo.plus the live shows have been awesome loads to see and super funny.ime realy going to miss all this gaming goodness after todays final live show.but ive got all these awesome games to look forward to its going to be happy times as our friend borat would say.but the real reason for this quick update is to vent my frustation at the likes of play.com and there exclusive pre order freebies they always promish so much and deliver so little or in my case nothing.i pre-ordered infamous months ago and the bonus was a beta key for uncharted2 mp demo.which sony even gave a mention of midway through there conference the beta went live at midnight on the 2nd of june.so i check my emails for my beta key only to find play have not sent me one which came as no big surprise because this happened to me befor with the resistance2 beta by the time they sent me my code the beta only had a couple of days left to run and even then it had been made a open beta so anybody could join at that point.some people might suggest ime the stupid one for pre-ordering from them again but hey ime going to buy the game anyway so ime gonna go for the best deal right.i just wish the likes of the above mentioned would get there act together when it comes to pre-order freebies.

well it looks like it the best time of year again if you play video games because e3 2009 is upon us.it kicks off tommorow june 1st and runs till the 4th.last year i couldnt catch every thing live but this year due to me doing my back in .ime off work sick for a week this year so i will be able to catch all the new announcements and press conferences live WoOt.ime so excited.bring it on at least ive got a copy of infamous to keep me going whilst i wait.peace

Here are the winners of this years vga awards which i watched live on spike tv sunday night on the interweb.It started off with a hilarious intro from jack black who was hosting the awards this year which was a vast inprovement on last years host Samual jackson who mumbled a few words here and there and i doubt for one minute he actualy plays any games.As i mentioned in my last blog entry gtaiv stole game of the year and in my opinion deserved to win but i would just like to mention the orther winners in the different catagories.The award for best shooter went to gears of war which went up against left 4 dead ,resistance 2,and farcry 2.next up is the winner for the best rpg the nominees are fable 2,fallout 3,warhammer online,and the world ends with you and the winner is(drumroll please) fallout 3 which i think sucks fable 2 would have been my first choice.Now next up is the best driving game of 2008 in the running are pure, midnight club la,mariokart wii, and burnout paradise and the top draw is yeah you got it burnout paradise which is a stunning game and all those free updates where awesome well deserved criterion.Right on to best action adventure game of 2008 here we go in the running for this are the following gtaiv,deadspace, mirriors edge, mgs4 and the winner is mirrors edge no only joking rockstar stole its second award with gtaiv doing the buisness ime surprised because i throught old snake was gonna win it..so theres a few of this years winners of the vga awards 2008 i will post more later.

At last after many checks since about 06.00am ime glad to say i am finaly downloading home.i will let you no my first immpressions later.

The good news is that if like me you have been waiting for sony to realese HOME for there ps3, well our gaming god has awnsered our prayers today with the news that home is about to go live any time within the next 24 hours at last.I exspect sony thought they had better hurry up and get home live what with microsoft realesing there new xbox live exsperiance dash board update a couple of weeks ago which i must say is pretty decent .i was a little bit unsure about the avitars but now i have actuly got it i must say its preety good.The avitar creation tool is alot deeper than the one that comes with the wii.talking of wiis i have a confession to make to any body that is ready this i have sold my wii yes you heard me right i have flogged my little white box because to me its little more than a toy.NINTENDO have totaly lost there way in my opion and only value casual gamers of which ime am definatly not.wii music,wii fit,playing games with your arse cheeks on a balance board is not my idear of good gaming.My wii had turned into a dust catcher but the only good think its got going for it is that if you do want to sell yours on you can get a pretty good price.i sold mine foe 250 english pounds i boxed it back up and included wii sports,mario kart wii,mario galaxy,umbrella chronicals and twilight princess.So both me and the buyer were happy.Anyway back to sonys home.it is now 9.30am and still no update you no the saying a watch pot never boils well thats how i feel at the momment.ime sure it will be worth the wait but i must admit ime a bit vexed at the thought of having to buy new cloths or things for my crib at an extra cost.i hope sony are not going to fleece us all with this microsoft have just released new clothing content for your avitar free of charge so come on sony dont start charging us for content that should be free.so i look forward to seeing you all in home you never no i might even invite you back for coffee thats if i can afford to buy the kettle lol..seriouly the future is looking bright for the ps3
