  victim to an arranged marriage...

  recently i had to break up (i use that term loosley because we are still very much in love) with my girlfriend due to an arranged marriage. shes Lakota and she had to marry her chief's son... i just wonder if this is a common occurance among lovers or am i really unlucky...

  the decline of gaming

  i made a post a while back about losing my faith in games. in response to all who posted thank u but let me clarify: i would never REALLY stop playing games and i didnt say that there were no good games. it just seems like good games are becoming harder to find, and all of the games that are SUPPOSED to be good fall way short of expectations. most of my favorite games are games that i picked up off of the shelf that no one ever heard of. i would like to see just one year where a majority of the games that come out are atleast decent.

  a lot of this, i think, is because the developers are getting lazy, greedy and are losing contact with the consumer. they think that if their game looks pretty then it will sell well(and it sometimes seems as if they are right) but thats not the case. give me 8 bit graphics with gameplay like oblivion or call of duty and it will most likely make a top 10 list. thats not to say that the gaming community is without fault. were the ones who vote a game the GOTY if it has good graphics or some qwirky lines.

  overall i think something needs to happen to change the world of gaming. i feel that the market is slowley but surley declining, not in sales but in quality and the morals that (i think) most game companies have to deliver the best quality games to their customers. for instance OXM gave fable II a 9.5 out of 10 and fallout 3 a perfect 10. these are two games that i have been excited about for a long time and they managed to meet expectations, i dont see why if they can do it other games cant

  woot woot i got a new pet

  so i had my window open and there was apparently a hole in my screen so this bat just decides he wants to fly in and perch himself on my cieling fan. so i caught him and put him in an old bird cage. ive decided to name him Virgil. im goona keep him as long as i can(that is as long as my parents dont know). while their home i lower his cage onto our backporch roof and it seems to work out well. he seems like he doesnt mind, i havnt gotten bitonce and i actually find him to be quite nice. if he doesnt do any serious harm over the next few weeks im goona tell my parents and hopefully i can take him to get shots and whatnot.
