    e3 2008

I'm an avid videogame collector and have never really had a bias for different systems; I just like games. This year at E3 many fanboys are bragging about their systems and whining about how theirs was first to have some new feature being introduced on the other systems. These people are correct but that is what I believe this year's E3 is all about. For the past two years it has been Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony stating how their consoles will be dominant on the market because of each's unique characteristics and features - far different from that of the others. After about two years on the market each system has had time to analyze the success of their competitors and implement the those strongpoints into their own hardware. This is why the XBOX 360's is receiving an interface-lift this fall, Wii is pushing for more user creative & sharing capabilities, and PS3 is getting more downloadable and rentable content. The only difference between the three companies is that they pushed into three separate directions first before looking to make their systems more well-rounded. That is why this year's at E3 seems like a big copycat hooplah to some. It is only logical for the three companies to start orienting each other's great ideas into their systems in order to make all consoles balanced in what they have to offer; this is for the better of the videogame industry. Yes Microsoft's XBOX 360, Nintendo's Wii, and Sony's PS3 all have their own special qualities but in my mind they are even. I own two out of the three current generation consoles and cannot wait to get my hands on that third. I love each system individually for what they bring into my gaming experience and hope people can see this year's E3 as one of the best because we're getting back to a concentration on quality software!

Sorry It's Been So Long ( Be My Friend )

So its coming to the end of the 2007-2008 and that means graduation. This brings up a big dilema. Which systems to bring and which to leave home? The worst part is that i can't take the PS3 with me because its my dad's for his blueray watchin pleasure. GAAAH! So far i think i've narrowed it down to Wii and SNES.... and possibly Genesis, Dreamcast, and X-Box. There are so many i wanna bring! Dammit, this is gonna be a tough summer of decisions.

It has been a while since i've been really active on this site and that saddens me. But i guess i'm back now i think you should send me a friend request on here, PS3, and Wii. Just send me a message that you're doing so and i'll add you too.
