I don't even know if the blog title makes sense, but this is basically a blog saying that today is my second anniversary here on TV.com.
I know that I don't come online much anymore, but this place has been so awesome to me. Only now, with the whole new layout, I don't like it as much

I'm having really bad AWS all of a sudden. I started reading Avatar fanfics again recently and it's reminded me of how amazing Avatar is. Was. Whatever. My own Avatar fanfiction is nearly over (although it's been my most successful - over 1200 reviews) and I don't know if I'll do another Avatar one or move onto Harry Potter (the Goblet of Fire film is on in like minutes on TV so I should really type faster XD). Either way, yay Avatar.
We saw the film Labryinth in Film Studies the other day, It's an incredible film although David Bowie's pants literally could not get any tighter. I'm surprised he managed to father children.
I have a cold (or The Plague as I've been telling everyone
) so bleh. I'm very sleepy as well, which isn't at all helpful considering I had to do a psychology assessment today. Most of it makes no sense but hey
I've learnt some phrases in Finnish recently, so if I ever find myself in a remote part of Finland and needing the bathroom, I know what to do
Me and dad had a massive convo over the phone about the lack of consonants in the Finnish language, it was so random XDI'm no longer single, which is proving interesting. My new boyfriend has a stalker, whichis proving even more interesting
More on that as is develops.Anyway, HP is on so I'll love you and leave you!

At Sixth Form (which is going great btw
) we've been talking about this pretty much all day.Basically, a British scientist wants to 'unlock the secrets of the Big Bang' which includes exploding various things which could, get this, create black holes on earth and actually destroy everything. The experiment is happening tomorrow, Wednesday.
The following is taken from The Daily Mail Online:
"On Wednesday, Dr Evans will fire up the Large Hadron Collider, a 17-mile-long doughnut-shaped tunnel that will smash sub-atomic particles together at nearly the speed of light.
The aim of the £4.4billion experiment is to recreate the conditions that existed a fraction of a second after the Big Bang - the birth of the universe - and provide vital clues to the building blocks of life.
But a handful of scientists believe that the experiment could create a shower of unstable black holes that could 'eat' the planet from within, and they are launching last-ditch efforts to halt it in the courts.
One of them, Professor Otto Rossler, a retired German chemist, said he feared the experiment may create a devastating quasar - a mass of energy fuelled by black holes - inside the Earth."Of course, nothing will actually happen for another four years (if at all) but scientists are worried that this experiment will bring about the end of the world.
So in about four years, I'll probably do another blog title saying "Told You That Blog Was Serious!" or something

I'm discussing this with a friend on MSN right now. He's explaining why the Hadron Collider has to be so big:
"Because it accelerates protons to as near the speed of light as we dare, and seeing as though the speed of light is approximately 186000 Miles a second, thats pretty fast. So the reason its so long is that anything that happens is going to happen so fast, that they need a fighting chance of recording it."
Yes, before you say anything, he's intelligent

Hope I didn't ruin your day with news of the impending apocalypse

Hello!
Not been online for what seems like an age. But hey.
My holiday to Spain was brilliant, so much fun. The private pool in the first week was awesome; most days we lounged about, discussing celebrities that we either liked or loathed. There was a surprising amount that we didn't like XD
My 13 year old cousin started asking totally random questions, such as 'can wasps hear?' (which I suppose wasn't actually that random considering wasps had a little wasp party everyday near the pool) and 'why is the grass green?' The best one though was:
Cousin: Who created words?
Uncle: Louie Alphabét.
Me: He was French.
Cousin: Well then who created English words?
Uncle: His brother, Dave.Maybe you had to be there, but we found it hilarious

The second week, with mum's friend and her daughter, was great too. I've lost track of the amount of times I got asked to colour in things by two year old Maddie. She pronounced my name 'Lawwwra' and my mum's 'Hayyyzel' which was pretty sweet.
Now onto the super special awesome news: I passed all of my exams that I took in the Spring!!!!! Even maths
I got the highest grade I could in English language and the second highest in English Literature ^_^I start 6th Form tomorrow, so I'm really looking forward to that. I chose both Englishes, Film Studies and Psychology as my options

Anyhoo, hope you're all doing well

So after getting told off by Ash on MSN last night, I've decided to make a blog

Nothing much has been happening recently. I had a Gossip Girl style drama going on the other day on MSN but I dealt with it. Manipulation is fun ^_^
Last Friday I went to Blackpool Pleasure Beach (that might sound a bit dodgy to people who don't know, but it's an amusement park with really cool rides and rollercoasters
) with mum and her boyfriend and his family so that was fun. I went on almost everything which I thought was pretty brave of me XDUndoubtedly the best bit of that day - aside from the sexyfine waffles I had at one point - was one point on the Bling Ride. We were dangling for quite a while at the top of the ride (and it's a hell of a way up) when Josh, one of the boys we were with, scoffed and said 'I don't get why people are screaming'. A second later, our seats turned upside down and the ride span back down to the ground so fast that it felt like we were going to fall out. For pretty much the rest of the ride, I was just laughing my head off XD
We also went on the Pepsi Max (a.k.a 'The Big One'
three times, which was amazing, The Infusion which looked a lot scarier than it actually was and the Ice Blast just to name a few.Undoubtedly the best ride in Blackpool, Valhalla, was closed which sucked, but I've been on it before so it didn't really matter
Valhalla is the name of the Viking Heaven, and the ride is an elaborate water ride in the dark on which you get absolutely soaked on. But there are amazing special effects, like fire and stuff
I'm going to Spain for two weeks on Thursday, staying in one villa for the first week with my aunty, uncle, mum and cousin, and another villa for the second week with mum, her friend and mum's friend's daughter. I'm looking forward to it...then again, I've packed about 9 books and intend to buy a further 4 more at the airport, so I'll be pretty busy reading

Kas is currently in Saudi Arabia for two weeks. He texted me at about 7.55 this morning, telling me he was at Heathrow. Like I was up at that time XD
To the Zutara fans out there, you've got to check this video out. It's absolutely adorable, really upbeat and perky and I'm obsessed with the song
Zutara - Angel To You (Devil To Me)
So yeah, hope everyone's doing okay ^_^

Oh my God, it was epic.
Just epic.
There really isn't much more to say, but I'll continue anyway

The Zuko/Azula/Katara fight is my favourite up to yet. I actually shouted at the screen when Zuko took the lightning for Katara....mainly 'don't die! Don't die!!'

The ending was predictable and I'm a little sad about that. I ship Zutara, but I like Kataang too. But the ending...there should've been some more dialogue. Something to end the series with properly. Something to reflect the battle that all of the characters have fought. Instead there was a cheesy kiss, complete with zooming-out-camera. I also find it hard to believe that no one died. And I still don't buy the 'suddenly, without any actual reason, we're going out!'ness of Maiko.
That said, altogether the finale was breathtaking. From Azula's insanity to Aang and Ozai's fight, I was captivated.
The writing, acting, directing and animation was of the highest quality. There were some truly hilarious moments to balance out the more serious ones. I honestly can't put my feelings into words, but I know that you're all feeling it to, as weird as that sounds

And now it's all over. It's sad, but it hasn't really hit me yet. When it does, I'll no doubt collapse in a sobbing heap, probably in public knowing my luck

The last two years that I've been watching Avatar (I haven't been watching the full three years
) have been great. I've discovered new music, amazing people (keeping my mouth shut this time Kas XD) and how to further my writing skills via fanfiction.Avatar has given me some really big happy highs, mainly when all the trailers came out. They put me in a great mood for literally days on end, which was really helpful during last year when I wasn't exactly thrilled about waking up every morning. In fact, I remember that the night (well, early morning
) that the comic con S3 trailer aired was the first night that I'd gone to bed truly happy in months. It wasn't just that I needed to lose myself in something, it was that I needed to lose myself in Avatar. The show that connected me to all these new things.Thank you to everyone on here for making Avatar that extra bit enjoyable and thank you to Mike and Bryan for creating the show that people worldwide and of all ages could enjoy.
It's been a hell of a journey, guys.

The Southern Raiders was brilliant!
And the Sokka scene...I haven't laughed like that in ages
Now I'm really hyped up for the next few episodes

I hadn't been sleeping well over the past few days, but luckily I seem to have gotten that out of my system. Still, that being said, lying awake at night for hours on end means that I've figured out how to link up key events in my fanfic and have figured out the plot for my next fanfic, so I guess it wasn't all bad XD
I recently found an old acoustic guitar in my Gran's attic, so me and Rob (not my best friend, another guy named Rob
) took it to a nearby town yesterday and got it restrung. He's going to give me lessons, but I suspect that trying playing the guitar will just be another thing to add to my list of epic failures
And now, some randomly funny things to see you on your way:
I Am Your Captain - Dane Cook (bad language)
Wishmaster - The Mishead Lyrics (this is so funny XD)
Amaranth - The Misheard Lyrics (also very funny

So...it's really been awhile, hasn't it?
Reading the first few lines of my last blog, I realise just how long. Regarding the party I was considering going to: I went. I drank. Nothing else more to say really. I'm not proud of it, and if you're ever in the situation I was, just don't drink too much if you keep getting offered free vodka and coke. Just say no. By the way, that's Coke as in the drink, not as in the drug. I'm not that stupid

A couple of weeks ago I met up with Kas (Kas_dude) and his friends. I went with my friend Heather and we gave Kas and friends a tour of Manchester. Maybe it's because I go to the city practically every weekend and have done so for the last two years, but it doesn't really impress me anymore. But Kas and friends seemed really impressed (bless them
) especially with the Disney Store. Then again, who isn't impressed with the awesomeness of the Disney Store? Either way, I had a great time
I had my prom a week ago. Because in the UK we finish compulsary school aged 16, that's when we have our prom. Everyone there looked great...although for some girls it was like they were going to a Disney convention. I however did Sharon den Adel proud by wearing a black bodice and skirt. For some reason, the first two pictures won't show up. Huh. I'll figure out how to rectify that in a bit.
Ah, here we go:There were a lot of pictures taken that night...here are some of my favourites:
That's Rob posing with me there...it's ridiculous how tall he is compared to me. Then again, I'm really short. Just ask Kas.
Kat and me....we're posers
The guy in the top hat - he also brought a cane with him! - is Slater. He's random but funny. The reason we're not all facing the camera is because there were about three different cameras there at the time XDLots of people asked me and Rob to pose together. I swear, even after five years of being best friends, some people still think we're going out
.In other news, listening to Nightwish songs is causing me to learn Finnish XD Of course, not a lot of Finnish, just the occasional few random poetical words, but still. French be damned!!
My fanfiction has reached over 1000 reviews, which I'm ecstatic about
I think that after I've finished my current Avatar one, I'll write a Harry Potter story. Hyped up on coffee the other night, I wrote a HP oneshot. I was trying to stay up on MSN with my friend at the time, who was leaving to go down south at 4am so didn't feel the need to go to bed. I however fell asleep at 12.15 am XDI'm going seeing Bullet for my Valentine in November! All of my friends (well, almost) are going. Hopefully the mosh pits won't be as extreme as the last concert I went to, because those b*tches hurt. One of the bands supporting Bullet are Lacuna Coil, who I've not really listened to, but what I've heard of them I've liked.
Ignore anything Kas says about 'Shane'. It isn't true. I am a magnificent speller...*shifty eyes*

Like all of you, I can't wait until the new Avatar episodes!!!!!!!!!

Happy 4th of July to all those who celebrate it!
Missed you all ^_^

Ugh. Exams.
So yeah, my GCSEs have started and I'm already fed up with them. Today I had R.E (religious education) which was, pardon the pun, boring as hell. Almost two hours for one paper. Admittedly, it was quite a long paper but still. I think I did alright, but I rambled for most of it XD
I've been invited to a party on Saturday night but I don't know if I'm gonna go. I've got a maths exam on Monday and I really need to not be hungover for that. There's going to be parties galore when we finish the exams in about a month, so it makes more sense to go to those.
From my five minute stint on some people's blogs, I'm gathering that people have been doing the 'ask me anything!' thing so, like the sheep that I am, I'll copy that. So...ask me anything!

My fanfic's got over 800 reviews, which I'm happy about

I saw the Twilight movie trailer recently and am looking forward to when that comes out later this year. The third book in the Twilight series, Eclipse, is my favourite book and I also can't wait for the fourth and final book to come out in August

I hope everyone's doing alright, I want to be back on here regularly but noooo...I have three hours of revision to do every night

Just to let those who care know, I'm still here ^_^
Things have been really busy. I went to another concert on Friday night...'Defenders of the Faith' was the name of the tour and it featured the metal bands Arch Enemy, Opeth, Three Inches Of Blood and Devildriver.
My advice: if you're ever in the situation where you can go in a mosh pit, don't. Seriously. It really hurts XDAfter the concert, a bunch of my friends and their friends were standing outside the venue. Then one guy pipes up that he's hungry. Ten minutes later we're all crammed into a tiny kebab shop at 11.40pm eating pizza and chips (fries for American readers)

Anyway, on Saturday my neck was killing me (someone elbowed me in the face and back of the neck while I was in the pit) so I complained to Kas (Kas_dude). He responded by telling me that The Boiling Rock was on YouTube. That cheered me up

Anyway gots to go, lot of revision to do, see you all soon!
(by the way, the blog title is a song by Nick Cave and Kylie...check it out, it's very good
)Sorry I haven't caught up on your blogs yet!

So, almost a week ago I went to a Nightwish concert.
Without swearing, it was an absolutely amazing night (except for one thing but I'll get to that later) and I'll remember it for a very long time. Whoever says that the new Nightwish singer (Anette Olzen) is crap has obviously not heard her sing live. While she will never replace original singer Tarja Turunen, she is leading Nightwish into a new age. Anette sang the newer songs brilliantly and even gave some of the older songs a really good go, making the older songs different but still great.
The support act, Pain, were awesome as well. The lead singer really made me laugh with this quote:
Lead Singer: We're here supporting Nightwish! (crowd screams) ...what the hell was that? I said NIGHTWISH!!
I was still giggling about twenty minutes later XD We had to wait such a long time for Nightwish to come on though, and it was really really hot in the Manchester Apollo. In that time, music was being played through the speakers, including Green Day and The Bloodhound Gang. I don't know if you've heard 'The Ballad Of Chasey Lain' by TBG, but it's so funny hearing a crowd singing along to the chorus
.When Nightwish finally did come on, they opened with 'Bye Bye Beautiful' which was suitably great. Then came 'Dark Chest Of Wonders' and many more, including 'Wish I Had An Angel' 'The Siren' 'Dead To The World' 'Sahara' 'The Poet And The Pendulum' 'Amaranth' 'The Islander' and 'Last Of The Wilds'. Another quote that made me laugh was from Marco, the bassist and male singer:
(crowd screams. The noise gradually fades as everyone waits for the next song)
Marco: Hey...where did the noise go?
(crowd screams again)
Marco: Ah, I found it!When Tuomas (lyricist, composer and keyboard/piano player and I find him really hot
) began playing 'Nemo' everyone started screaming, me included. Well, it is my favourite Nightwish song
Unfortunately, about five minutes into '7 Days To The Wolves' my friend clutched my shoulder. I turned around and her eyes were all out of focus. She told me in a perfectly calm voice that she couldn't see. I tell you, it scared the sh!t out of me. Her eyes slowly closed and she started to sway dangerously. I wrapped her arms around my waist and, panicking, started slapping her face and shouting at her to keep on breathing. She later told me that she couldn't see, hear or speak for about half a minute. That doesn't sound very long, but it was in the middle of a crowd of six foot tall guys, most of whom were moving around a lot. When my friend said that she could see again, I dragged her through the crowds and we got her something to drink. Apparently she'd been suffering from extreme dehydration (I mentioned that it was really really warm in the venue) but was perfectly fine after that. We'd missed the last minute of '7 Days To The Wolves' and all of 'Wishmaster' but managed to see 'Wish I Had An Angel'. I later joked that my friend chose a good song to pass out in (I don't really like 'Wishmaster'
. The amount of people that probably thought my friend was on drugs was ridiculous
. Once they saw me take her through the crowds though, everyone moved aside. One random guy even came to check on her later, which I thought was really sweet seeing as we'd never met him before. It was really weird, because afterwards my friend was fine. She told me that she sometimes got dehydrated at concerts (I wanted to ask her why she didn't bring any water, but decided against it). Meh, a group of us are going to a metal concert in about two weeks anyway, so she'll definitely have to bring something to drink for that

Anyway, I'm going to Italy tomorrow morning. I'm flying by myself, and trust me, everything that could go wrong I have considered in my mind. It's my first time flying solo so I'm pretty nervous
But hey, my Dad's picking me up from the airport and then we're going to Milan for 'a mooch around'. It's kind of ridiculous, but for three days, I've taken three books. It's in case I get bored, but I had a really hard time fitting 'Eclipse' by Stephenie Meyer (my favourite book) in my bag that I'm taking on the plane
It's got like 600 odd pages, so yeah.Pics of Nightwish will come soon, and wish me luck flying by myself! (I'm going to end up in Africa, seriously T_T).

Sorry about the last blog, I was really in a state of irritation. Y'know, like when you're ready to smack your computer into next week? Yeah, I was at that stage. But I've since calmed down

Well, not entirely. See, I'm supposed to be going to visit my dad (who lives in Italy) in a couple of weeks, and I've just gotten an email from him saying that I'm flying by myself. I guess it isn't that much of a big deal, but it's the first time that I've flown by myself. Not to mention that my mum thinks I'm flying with my Grandparents and will freak out when I tell her I'm not
But hey, she's out with her new boyfriend so that ain't my problem. My mum's new boyfriend- Steve - came round today. It wasn't as awkward as I thought it'd be...although I was texting Kas (Kas_dude) halfway through complaining about how uncomfortable I was
His advice (distract them and run!) didn't work but in the end it turned out alright. We got our DVD player fixed at any rate
I got my prom dress yesterday! It's a classic black floor-length strapless dress (phew) with that structure which means you don't have to wear a bra and it really accentuates curves. Kind of like a corset, but not. Either way, I think it's a beautiful dress and I hope I can do it justice ^^
Of course, prom isn't until June but apparently there's something wrong with delivery so it's better that we got one now.I'm ridiculously tired and really tempted to just go upstairs and read Pride and Prejudice. Damn lack of sleep. But first I have to finish writing this blog, sort out the chapters that I have to change, learn part of my Drama script and panic about things over which I have no control. It's fun being me.
Song of the blog is one which I've been listening to all day. It's one that I think everyone can like, because it's not extreme in any genre (if that makes sense).
(I'm seeing Nightwish in concert next Friday!!!!

In the words of Dane Cook, this [f-word]ing thing is driving me up the [f-word]ing wall!!!
On fanfiction.net, my version of page breakers for separating parts of a chapter:
------------------------------------------------------
is no longer working. As a result, I have to re-upload all of my chapters with appropriate page breakers. The only problem is, none of the [f-word]ing page breakers that I've tried [f-word]ing work.
I've been trying for the past [f-word]ing hour to no avail. As a result, I am mightily pissed off and ready to throw a brick at my computer.
Therefore, I was wondering how any fanfiction.net writers on here do page breakers in their chapters.
If you could tell me then I will love you forever and no longer be ready to scream.
(wouldn't it be great if this site had no censors for a few hours? I would so abuse that feature right about now).

Deleted the last blog. Too depressing. Just because I have problems doesn't mean that I should load them off on you

Here's a quote I found hilarious:
I was round at my father's the other day for dinner, and I made a classic Freudian slip. I meant to say 'please pass the salt' but it came out 'you p***k, you ruined my childhood".

Anyway, I'll post a blog tomorrow probably, when something interesting will have happened. By which I mean I'm meeting up with a friend that I haven't seen for awhile, so it'll prove to be suitably random

And I'm that happy that I felt the need to make a blog about it

Yep, today is my 16th birthday ... doesn't really mean anything legally (apart from I'm now, in the eyes of the law, allowed to buy a Lottery ticket and have sex) but I'm one whole year older than I was yesterday!!

I went for a meal with family tonight, which was fun. When I got back, I found that my dad had delivered some flowers and chocolates for me
Well, he obviously didn't have them delivered from Italy, but they really are beautiful flowers ^^The maths test went fine...it was worryingly easy, which makes me think that I've done something wrong

Share in the awesomness that is my fictional birthday cake

Kas (Kas_dude) says to tell you all that his Internet is screwing up, so if you don't see him around much then that's the reason. He hasn't left

I just wanted to blog on the Leap Year day

Letsee, what's going on with me:
- some chav with anger issues punched my friend on the bus:
(chav: I [f-word] hate moshers like you!
my friend: I'm a metalhead, get it right!)
Luckily he's okay now, seeing as the chav hit like a girl
.- I had the best excuse ever for handing in my coursework late: "I was going to hand it in last week but the school kind of blew up" (see one of my recent blogs).
- it's my birthday on Monday!
- I have an exam on Monday T_T
- it's a maths exam TT_TT
Happy Leap Year Everyone!!

Yep, at about 1am this morning, an earthquake of 5.2 (some reports say 5.4) on the richter scale, shook vast parts of England.
Our house was shaking and it woke mum up. Apparently I woke up, went "ahhh!!" and then went back to sleep
.It was England's biggest earthquake for 20 years, which I think is pretty unimpressive seeing as we rarely get any earthquakes. But still, I don't think that anyone was hurt, although there was a hell of a lot of damage near the epicentre.
Right, that's about it. Just thought I'd let you all know

Have a nice day ^^
