This movie fell into the same trap as just about every Hollywood animation of the last 6 years. It talks down to the kids while spending too much time throwing zingers over their heads to keep the parents engaged. There's no story told here in any sort of engaging way. It relies on the brightness of the animation, attention deficit editing and over the top scoring to keep the young ones stunned while hitting their parents with soggy hidden adult jokes and nostalgic music. The moral of the story is supposedly that imagination is something to be valued but the story telling on display actually does a horrible job of leaving any room for kids to actually use their own imaginations in engaging with the story. It does more to deaden the complicated sentiments expressed by Ubi Soft so well in the original game (Rayman). Instead of activating kids' imaginations, this movie simply displays the self satisfied and over saturated imaginations of it's directors and animators. There's literally no room left for the audience in this movie.

I wrote Shurkien School review 5 time & I wasn't trying to insault anyone I use the guidline & I still get reported
This isn't retro and this show sucks. Retro is not from 2006. It's dumb shows like this, Chalkzone, and Tak & the Power of Juju that replaces all the good nick shows like Pelswick, Mr. Bean the Animated Series, and Charlie Brown. Somebody take Shurkien School off the air (it on late nat night on Nicktoons).

1. Witchblade: Hot diggity, what a show. I only wishyou likedWB more.
2. Catscratch: Yes, but will there be Oscars? Nominated in a field-leading eight categories, including best charater: Mr. Blik.
3. Skunk Fu!: Quoth a colleague: "Too dumb to offend anything but your intelligence." That just about sums it up.
4. Bro'Town: Only in Spain can "suicide" and "upbeat ending" exist in the same sentence.
5. George of The Jungle: Not screened in time for review. Rumored to be the grisliest thing this side of Lee Tockar's Acting.Avoid
1.Squrrile Boy:Indeed. And damn near unwatchable.
2. Baby Looney Tunes: Spoiler alert: TheMonkey with thebig-mouth totally crieds.
3. The Buzz on Maggie: The kind of corny rip-off that forgiving audiences call "cute."
4. Chalkzone: The powers-that-be would not even think about screening this "Family Guy" spoof for critics. Not even for the quotiest quote-whore.

They replace Rocko's Modern Life, Invader Zim, Pelswick & Mr. Bean for bad shows like CatDog, Chalkzone, Martin Mystery, Shurkien School, & soon Tak & the Power of Juju
they show should comsider airing Kirby Right Back at Ya!, Cormartie High School, Abanabshi Shopping Arcade, Monkey Magic (which I havn't seen, but looks good) & even Sonic X.
