  Quick update.......

  

  Just a little shopping news , today I picked up "ORANGE BOX" I hope its as good as everyone says , however I wont know for a while .....I got to finish up "COD 4" and I want to at least get a little more into "Mass Effect" before I start up another title but sadly at the rate I have time "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" will be out and that will be what Im playing....so many games so little time .

  ****UPDATE 08/16/2008**** Just could not resist all the orange box goodness and started the game.Call me weak .but damm the torpedoes I say ! Sorry Mass effect and cod 4 but a gamers gotta do what a gamers gotta do !.....Snoggins

  Well. that took forever .....not that I'm complaining mind you It's just that I'm not really a FPS fan (did I mention this is the first FPS that I have played through !) however I just didn't devote my sole attention to it rather Ihad filled my time with Madden until "GTA 4 " dropped then played through that and upon finishing that I decided to go back to my "still playing" pile WOW ! As I have said the FPS genre is not my gig but this title was too irresistible for me not to pickup.Heres my two cent review....

  Story.........Excellent,original and just plain wonderfull 95/100

  Sound......Unparalleled, until "Bioshock" Xbox had not realised its sound potential 100/100

  Graphics....Truly a masterpiece , the atmoshperic enviornment was what all games should strive for. 100/100

  Gameplay ..Intuitive,the controls were perfectly map to the controller.The only critism is that there are a lot of button commands concerning weapons,weapon combonations and plasmid,plasmid selection but It was so intuitive that the player barely has to think about it. 97/100

  Overall.....Simply A must play for the Xbox 360 game console. 96/100

  Well that about All I can say for now looks like the next game I'll be pulling out of my pile is "Mass Effect" so I'll be trudging through that most likely till somthing else comes along Too Human,Fable 2,Saints Row 2, or Star Wars unleashed I don't know which or when , heck I may try to finish Assassin's Creed after Mass Effect ,I'll update as I go. See Ya laterz.

  E3 2008 Microsoft conferance reactions..............

  

  Greetings again true believers ! , your friend ly neighbourhood gamer here again with reaction to the days events, E3's Microsoft Xbox 360 conference to be more to the point .With out really "playing" any of these titles all one can offer is blunt opinion of what was shown ,So with an eager heart and itchy thumbs away we go..............(in no perticular order)

  
  "Gears Of War 2"
  
  Ick ....not a fan of the original "snore".
  
  "Far Cry 2"
  
  See above.
  
  "Resident Evil 5"
  
  REALLY more zombies you say , oh wow ! is it 1998 again? talk about a played out genre...yeash !
  
  "Your in the Movies !"
  
  How about : "Your not in my console !" uck this thing looks wretched.
  
  "Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts"
  
  More like Bendo shove up your kazoo ....platformers are done people ,move on.
  
  "Lips"
  
  Oh gosh not another karoke game we need that as much as another WW2 fps ("Brothers In Arms" I'm looking at you!)
  
  "Fable 2"
  
  Good looking ,looks interesting with the "family" creation mechanic but I still would like a H.U.D.
  
  "Tomb Raider Underworld"
  
  (not shown but hey I'M looking foward to it)

  Nope.could care less.
  
  "Uno Rush"

  "Viva Pinata Trouble In Paradise"

  Oh c'mon already try something new for petes sake.

  The first one was a GTA filler and looks like this one will be too I guess It'll fill the time til the GTA 4 DLC comes out at the end of the year.
  
  "Rockband 2" AND "Guitar Hero World Tour"
  
  I'm not buying till the two of you workout your controller compatability issues.........(grumble money grubbing mumble mumbles)
  
  "Mirrors Edge"
  
  Love the new type of gameplay, I think we got our next Portal
  
  Speaking of said game ,as much as Im exited to see a quasi "new" Potal coming to XBL I can't wait for news on a southpark title.
  
  "The Last Remnant"
  
  Ho hum another RPG , looks interesting though.
  
  And of course "Final Fantasy 13"
  
  Can't say I'm surprised, looks good but its FF so not very excited
  
  Now lastlly .....The new dashbord update, NOT loving it ,dont care about the fake Miis and the sparse look is awful we can only hope MS puts some more effort into it before its released .
  Well Thats not all the games but it is all I care about so (and I am the one writing this) so Iguess Im done for now ,the contender out of todays pack has got to be Mirrors Edge at tomorrows Sony PS3 conference will see if the can show a title that is as good or better to get my vote for best game of E3 2008 .......Heres hoping we see something of "Heavy Rain" (finally)
