whats ur opinion on the latest games
lately iv been thinking of buying some games and i havnt quite decided what games to buy. The newly released games arent that interesting or is it just me am i loosing my taste for games. they just dont seem to catch my interest. i could buy 2004 or 2005 games but are they worth it. although they are cheaper, no one plays them anymore. will it be fun playing them if others are not interested in talkin about it. but once a ood game always a good game. my fav franchise are the metal gear solid and need for speed.what do u guys think i should do. -

Fifa World-cup 2006
This blog is long overdue but o thought i would paste it anyway. the competition was really interesting all the way. France were the surprise team. watching their game in the first round of the cup did not give me the slightest impression they would get to the finals, yet they did. I guess thats what the competition is about. The finals between italy and france was a very interesting game with france taking the lead early in the game. With the italians equalizing in the second half. the game went into ext. time and penalties. Trezeget missed his spot kick and italy had their victory. personally i think Italy deserved it cuz they had been outstanding right from day one of the competition. The real disappointment was when Zidane's head butt. To end a career like that.....But still I wonder "what made him so mad."

what makes a game worth your time
it is common knowledge that the game industries are fast expanding. 5 years ago you needed no additional graphics card than the one on your motherboard to play any game of your choice.
in tems of graphics there the game industry has grown trmendously. this has influenced the choice of gamers. Some gamers put graphics of a game in first priority. They play games with advanced graphics and thats all that matters.
if u ask me, the most important aspects of a game are its storyline and gameplay. Who cares if u can see every single detail on the body of a character(not that i dont like games with high details), afterall, games on he gba or ps1 never had great detals, yet we all had fun playing them.
Another aspect of a game is its length. some games take up to 100hours to complete, other may be completed in just a matter of 6 hours. most games on the pc take a mininum of 30 hours to complete though. As for me, i prefer games that keep u busy for longer times between 60 to 100 hours. i also like games that u can continue to play even after its completion instead of going back to the first stage and starting over again.
generally my choice of a great game is nice graphics, cool storyline and gameplay and one that either continues after completion or your given a bonus for its completion. I dont usually complete games more than once. i completed mgs twice though.
i would like to see your comments and your opinions on what makes a great game. also i would like to know what u think of my opinion of a great game.
