  The XF2!

  Hello!

  I know it's been entirely too long, but as some of you know I have been hanging out at LJ much more than this site recently. If you want my LJ just ask. The reason for this post you ask? Well...XF2 has finally been anounced!! And to my great relieve it's going to be with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson!! Funny thing is just one day before I read the happy news I had finally completely given up on ever seeing new XF ever again.

  Erm...maybe I should have done that sooner? Either way, I feel like I deserved this, because major crap has happened to me this week! OK relative ofcourse, but still...I have been sick at home all week with an upper respiratory trackt infection with ear nose and throat problems and to top it off some problems with my balance (cos of earprobs)

  and because I wasnt feeling **** enough, the pc gremlins kicked in and made my HD go crash again. Yeah cos that didnt happen to me just 2 months ago! grrrr!!

  Anyway...YAY XF2!!!

  (a now really) Quick update

  OK people I typed this blog and then lost it so now it's gonna be a short version of the original one.
  
  So I haven't had much online time lately because my RL has been taking over from my cyberlife lately. That's mainly due to my work and the bf is gonna move in with me soon. So that's taking up a lot of time...
  
  Right now I am enjoying a well deserved - or so I'd like to think - break. I decided to get out of the country and go to south Germany to bf (+ inlaws...). I am hoping that the weather will get a little better so we can do some bike tours in the next couple of days!! It's been a while since we've done so and it's just so pretty here!
  
  I've just been to see HP for the second time, inGerman this time around, but it was still good! They managed to get a really good Snape voice too (they dub) so that was a big relieve as he' s my favorite character...
  
  In tv news:
  *I have started watching Ghost whisperer. I don't know what it is but that series is like a trainwreck, I cannot not watch it when it's on tv.
  
  * Only a month untill tv starts again!! YAY!! * Have you seen the Bones teaser. TEASER!! See y' all yoon! G

  A meeting of the minds

  Hello everyone!! I have been so busy in the past week that this is the first real opportunity I have to blog! But what an amazing week it has been!
  
  So THE MEETING OF THE MINDS (my version, please make sure to also check Queen T's version when she blogs because I am sure I will forget things...)
  
  I'll just start at the beginning with Wednesday: This was a day spent in bouts of gid and cleaning and trying to finish HP7. Which I have finished now, but I will blog about that some other time. I would like to discuss with people who have read it too...Anyways, the anticipation and gid were all because T (aka asaneismRnuTs)was on her way over to the Netherlands!!! Can you say SQUEEE!!?!11eleven.
  
  Anyways when she arrived at the end of the afternoon we went to my place and wanted to order Thai (in celebration of Bones) but the website was being a bitca so we ended up with Chinese instead. No seven organ soup, thank god!! Oh and T, Jasper is watching as I type this!!
  After eating we ofcourse HAD to watch a couple of Bones episodes together and let me tell you. Watching live together is jsut so much better than synchro watching online, even if that's not a bad alternative either...
  
  On Thursday we had to get up way early to go to the racetrack because that was the "real" reason for T's visit ofcourse: there were hot racedrivers to be stalked!! So click-click-clang-clang, we grabbed an Audi flag and vamoused!! After meeting up with the rest of the gang on the way we arrived at Zandvoort in the early afternoon. We sneaked not so sneakily into the pits and had a good time looking at people pushing the cars around.

  We also ran into some of the drivers but not all of us got to meet our favorites this afternoon. But it was a good start considering the real raceweekend starts on friday morning. We also ran into Tom K (aka the target of the weekend) checking into the hotel!
  
  Friday morning was off to a good start when we got to watch the roll out from the top of the pits. And later we ambushed some drivers...OK ALL drivers, on the way to the drivers' briefing. The location of which is one of the worst kept secrets ever.
  
  
  View from the pitcomplex, look at them dunes!! And yeah there is a lot of sand over there, hence the name Zandvoort! Blergh sand in my ears, food, clothes and the worst thing: stuck to my face after putting on sunscreen! Nope sand and wind is not my favorite combo!

  On Saturday we went to see qualifying and we managed to get our picture taken with Tom K. He also was good enough to sign a cap to me. And later we got our Audi flags signed by him aswell at a public autograph session. He was being really nice and patient. Maybe not in the least because T spoke Danish to him but hey, gotta use what you can!!

  The race on Sunday kinda sucked when Tom K got pushed into an accident in the first corner and ended up 12th...After this it was a lost race for him unfortunately. In the end Audi won with 4 cars in front but teamorders caused the driver of the race to give up his maiden victory in favour of a higher ranking Audi driver. That sucked!!
  
  All in all it was a brilliant weekend though and the weather was mostly pretty good and we had SO MUCH fun the whole weekend! Seriously the funniest catch phrase of the weekend must have been "I touched the butt" which none of us actually dared to do, even though all of us would have loved to cop a feel LOL.

  On Monday it was time for goodbyes which was really bittersweet! It'd been such a wonderfull weekend that I just didn't want it to end at all!
  
  Waah! I feel like I forgot a lot, but will wait till T has posted to see what needs to be added!! T sahweety, I miss you already! *hug*
