Well now that June/July has past it's time to make a wrap-up of the last two months.
LAKERS Parade
Lakers had a nice parade to celebrate another NBA Title. The coverage for this was great. There were thousands of people who showed at LA Coliseum and many more thousands if not millions watching it on TV.

A lot of great moments. Especially significant given the rather crappy times we are living in any great moments like this need to be treasured.
Of course there were a couple of tragedies over the summer like michael Jackson's death, Farrah Fawcette's death and son. This is something that's a fact of life that is death. These two had many fans. Jackson had a rather bizarre life but his impact on pop culture is astounding.
I do love summer because it's a great time where I have time to catch up on all the shows I've wanted to watch but didn't have time to during the year. It's also a great time to watch the currents I like to watch like RAW and SD.

LMAO
However, all this is trivial when compared to my moment graduating from university. I graduated from the university-Cal State Northridge. I graduated in May then finally received my degree in June. I now have a Bachelor's Degree in English.

A great moment. It's too bad it had to come during a rather poor time right now with unemployment, budget cuts and etc all due to but not limited to over eights years of a horrible Republican administration. Yet, I am still proud to have the degree because not everyone has the chance to finish school. Dammnit and I did it. Generally people say stuff like "I owe it to my Mom and Dad" blah blah. I am not going that route. My Dad was never around when I needed him. My mom was adequate but was also controlling, harsh and vindictive. In the end, the only person that I thank is my myself. The other people I would really say helped are my uncles who were always to provide financial assistance with no strings attached.I still have my job working as a tutor for the school district. I plan to go to the credential program at the university. Things for me professionally speaking are right on track. That's the only things that matter for me right now. I like where I am working right now. I know I could work somewhere else for more money especially with the degree I earned. However, I am going to stay put for now. I've been recognized several times for my great work. I received another touching present from the students I tutor. I received a very nice Thank You Card from them. The card was full of praise and best wishes and keep your head up sentiments. Whenever, I get angry or depressed personally over what's going on this country, which I don't mind saying happens a lot, I try to look at this for inspiration to continue what I am doing.
Hope all my friends on here are having a nice summer. Remember to keep your head up!!!

LAKERS up to 3-1 on Magic. The Lakers have shown they are the better team since game one. Most of the critics who jumped on the Denver Nuggets bandwagon jumped on Los Angeles Lakers bandwagon.
In last game Derek Fisher hit a big three to force overtime thanks. The LAKERS battled to win the game.
Derek has underperformed in the playoffs to be sure, but he came through. You don't know see too many thirty four year old guys dive for balls and play defense Fisher does. Right now he is the toast of the town getting the money shots in newspapers and sports outlets and deservingly so.
The Lakers showed their dominance in Gm 1 vs. Magic. Kobe was angry and went on to score forty in a Finals record.
It's like Mark Jackson said "it's like a grown man playing with kids". LMAO
Where the hell was Dwight Howard you may ask? Nowhere to be found. LMAO. All this garbage that Howard would manhandle Gasol, Bynum, Odom and anybody else has been just garbage. He's average a measly sixteen points per game and in game one he had apathetic twelve points. The LAKERS blasted the MAGIC by twenty-five points. Howard hasn't been Superman not by any means of the imagination. If there is any Superman anywhere it's on the LAKERS team. You know who it is right?

The other games have been close but the LAKERS have been there and won them with the exception of game three. Game 2 was especially hilarious because the Magic missed a golden opportunity to tie the series.
All Stan Van Gundy could do following this is just smile.
Interesting fun facts about the Finals:
The Magic are losers in the Finals. Remember some guy named Shaq? He was swept by clearlybetter Rockets team.
In fact this Magic team is so much like that 1995 team. They both lived and died by the three, and they had an upcoming center.
They also had games where one guy was the goat. In 1995, Nick Anderson later nicknamed "Nick The Brick" missed a couple of free throws that would have won the game. Fast forward fourteen yearslater and Dwight Howard misses a couple of big free throws. It's like Deja Vu.
One other other fun fact: Both Van Gundy brothers are losers in the finals. Jeff with the New York Bricks, I mean Knicks in 99 and now Stan. Karma is a biiiatch. LMAO
Not even a washed up, joke of a steroid freak is enough for to give the Magic hope especially
if the LAKERS come to play.
The irony is amazing though. Here you have the LAKERS and KOBE back in the finals (Thirtieth for the franchise), and the LAKERS are facing the Magic. Kobe is trying to silence the critics that said he couldn't win without Shaq and yet here is facing Shaq's old team with a guy like Shaq. It's very fitting.
I even remember Shaq in the crowd during the Cavs game. I tell you very fitting.
Speaking of silencing more critics, Pau Gasol has been great. He's been perhaps the most consistent LAKER player all season aside from Kobe. He's been anything but soft. Anyways, LAKERS all the way. It'll be their fifteenth title I believe. That's A LOT.
LMAO. They have more Finals appearences and more titles combined that some teams who just barely gotten to the finals. Hoping them to end series so people can celebrate.

LMAO I couldn't believe it. Not that I care because I am a LAKERS fan, and yet I felt inclined to comment it because everyone jumped on the Cleveland bandwagon (well not everyone).
The ones who did said the Cavs were going to cruise to the Finals either that or Boston. Boston couldn't make up for Kevin Garnett's absence and Cavs could no more hide the fact that they are a one dimensional team. They also couldn't hide the fact that this was another CAVS choke job of epic proportions. I nearly died laughing when this same TNT team that was salavating everytime Lebron got the ball showed that montage of Cleveland failures from Browns to Indians and Cavs (the famous shot on Craig Ehlo by Michael Jordan, Lebron being swept by the Spurs).
Back to my point at hand this was pretty hyped and overrated CAVS team. I really didn't care that they had the best record in the NBA that's practically given nowadays in a weak Eastern Conference or the Western Conference for that matter. I did pick them to win over the Magic by five games, but I remembered that this was the CAVS after all.
I remember watching a couple of games with the CAVS during the season and not being impressed. Aside from Lebron James this bench sucks and even the starting lineup isn't that impressive. Cleveland doesn't have a big post up presence here. Again when you got one guy that makes up and is the whole offense it's not hard to see why the CAVS lost.
I for one though love it. Too much hype, not enough results and just like the Denver Nuggets, the Cavs have a long history of being losers. Maybe now people will stop comparing Lebron to Kobe:
Not this Kobe and Lebron but this one:

Why would they anyways, Lebron hasn't delivered anything nor have the Cavs. This will be a textbook of not buying into the hype and yes a choke job.

Well April is almost over so thought I'd put in my thoughts here:
Wrestlemania-The card was ok but nothing special especially with Crappy H once again using his politics to plant himself at the main event and we all know he doesn't put anybody over (at least not without getting title shortly after). His reign on Smackdown was ok with me because RAW has been so much more enjoyable without him. Orton not going over is also hilarious because it makes all the heat he has been getting for weeks, months useless. Way to go WWE. LMAO I read one user's "post" of this card, he called it a terrible card. He had me interested until I read the read of his post and he still had HHH in the main event. LMAO at Chris Jericho wrestling three old guys: Ricky Steamboat, Jimmy Snuka, and Piper. He went from being World Champion to this? Then we got Cena vs. Edge vs. Big Show? Yawn. We know Cena is an unstoppabe machine. Money In the Bank is probably the only thing I was looking forward aside from Undertaker and Shawn Michaels (even though most of the guys in the ring won't get a push except for the winner). Glad I don't order these ppvs.
Moving on, I read on here about shows about to be canceled. One thing I will hand it to this site is that they feed you literally anything and everything you want to know about these shows. However, instead of talking about that. I wanted to offer my opinions on Dollhouse again which will be canned (probably already has but I don't keep up with the feeds)
DollHouse:Dollhouse was under a lot of hype obviously for Joss Whedon. It was delayed because Joss wanted the show just right. Well delay or no delay, while the premise was great with the whole implanting of memories, the show hasn't quite delivered all the goods.
Eliza Dushku is hot and can act but the stories and direction need work. This show also can't decide whether it wants to be a soap opera an action show or a scifi show.
I also think that they need to kill of a few characters to make this interesting. Like a few weeks ago they had the episode about the breach in the Dollhouse. That was a very good episode but it very little ramifications.
Still I think the show works. They reveal a lot in the show and yet they still haven't answered many questions. Plus on the bright side, I doubt Dollhouse has a huge budget. It's not as let's say as money consuming as I believe Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles to be.
Also what the heck is Fox gonna replace this show with? Dollhouse has potential. It has problems for sure but it has potential so it shouldn't be canceled.Yes the ratings aren't great but new shows will tend to suffer and it has somewhat of a tough time slot.
Spring Break and Spring Cleaning:
I had a nice vacation. Nice to have time off even it's just a week. Following though I decided to clean up my garage for Spring Cleaning. You really don't know what you have until you have the time to look for it. I found movies, comic books, magazines that I forgot or couldn't find where they are. A ton of comic books from Robocop, to X-MEN, to even Howard The Duck. I think once I get more time I'll put a few pics. For now, I'll post what I scanned here:
Robocop-Robocop was a comic book for Marvel. The movies were good (minus the last one) but as I started to read the comic I really started to like it It goes beyond what the movie goes through (one benefit of reading a comic book adaptation instead of a two hour movie with the same character). The artwork was decent, it's got a lot of action and overall decent stories:

I found this Beatles Cover. I know it must belong to one of their vinyl records but forget which one anybody know?

Then came another blast from the past, I found my E.T. Storybook. They used to make these storybooks back in the day as like a guide for a movie for kids (still got my Return of Jedi storybook). Kinda neat. It was in decent condition and still had all its pages.

X-MEN Comic Magneto Reborn (very nice issue):

I also had time to read the book "The Soloist" by Steve Lopez which was the base for the same movie with Robert Downey and Jamie Foxx:
It's been released this week I believe after it was delayed months after it's initial release last year. Why this was done I have no idea because it would have GUARANTEED Oscar nods for Fox and Downey Jr.. Why they would push it is anybody's guess, not too mention that it may not get the same attention as it might have done. The book is good, it goes into more detail obviously than the movie. I would recommend reading the book and seeing the movie (which I reviewed here):

Only eight and half weeks to graduate. I've been double majoring in English and Computer Science but most likely I'll focus more on English. I am taking two Geology labs and an Asian American class. The Geology classes scared me at first. There's so much to study, and I don't do well in labs. However, my teachers have been great so I am passing. I wish it was May already though. I watched a bit of the NCAA games. I am an NBA fan mostly so this was rare for me still a lot of great games. My school was in it for like the second time in its history.
I've been watching Dollhouse on Fox so far I haven't been disappointed. How could you not be impressed with Eliza playing a blind woman last week? Really it's one of the better new shows on right now. I watched ABC's Better Of Dead but it didn't do much for me. Unlike Scrubs which uses the same type of wacky, bizaree humor in the workplace, the show just couldn't do the same. The guy being frozen was funny but that got repetitive after a while. I What else speaking of laughs I laughed at Dick Cheney and company still talking trash this time about Obama. Don't these blabbering idiots ever give up? Anyways. I think I might go to movies next week. I haven't made up my mind as to what to see yet though.

Well finally had time to play a couple of games over the last two months. It's been raining here in Cali so video games are a nice luxury to have. A lot of these games are not new of course but that doesn't mean they aren't great. Likewise, I rarely have that much time to finish up my games so I love the chance to do it when I do get the time.
Siren-
This is a survival type game in the tradition of Silent Hill. There aren't zombies here but people called the Shibito who are kind of like zombies. This game is hard for the fact that the controls and gameplay is not tailored made for the user. Like in SH and Resident Evil you get a wide variety of goodies and weapons to help you out. Not in this game. In several levels you don't get any weapons at all!!! Making you very vulnerable for attack and die easily. It's still a decent game for the horror, creepy atmosphere and a couple of great video scenes in the game but man can it ever get frustrating.
Pac-Man World 3-
These Pac-Man World games are cool. Not much else to say about it. Pac-Man can do a lot of things in the game from a butt bounces to a rapid spin (ala Sonic The HedgeHog). The gameplay and challenge isn't hard but the game is overall made to be fun.
Spider-Man 2
Another game that doesn't need much of an explanation. It's based on the movie and has the voices of Tobey Maguire and the cast. Check that it does have a couple of characters that are not in the movie like Shocker, Black Cat and Rhino. The missions with these characters was fun. Overall any game with Spider-Man is gonna be cool.
So yeah I am enjoying playing these games.

Well so many LOLS I don't know where to start? Should I start laughing at Michael Phelps bong hit? Should I laugh at Christian Bale's abusive tirade on the set of Terminator Salvation? The laughable hypocrite situation of Pastor Ted Haggard or the incoherent ramblings of Dick Cheney?
Well out of that list above I decided to go with laughing the hardest at Ted Haggard and Christian Bale. Yep I decided to go with laughing at Christian Bale and Ted Haggard the most.
I am not going to rag on Michael Phelps, shown below, for a number of reasons:
.1) Phelps s genuinely sorry for what he did something I do not get from Bale or Haggard
2) Phelps ia an Olympic and American hero giving Americans something to cheer about when in this sad day Americans have nothing to cheer about.
3) He's an athlete. With everything said about an Olympic hero, he is still an athlete and athletes really never have become role models. Anybody saying otherwise isn't in reality.
That's about it.
So on to Ted Haggard and Christian "The American Psycho" Bale.

Bale is a good actor, great to fans of his. I think he's a good actor really starting to make a mark but man when I listened to that audio nugget of Bale cursing, chewing out the Director of Photography for Terminator Salvation , besides laughing my butt off, I was amazed.
The tirade he gave (which has to been listened to be believed) is that of a Lunatic, a Dictator of the set. This guy practically almost physically assaults the director saying "he'll kick his ass". Well when I finished laughing at audio, I came to conclusion that maybe Bale wants to be known as Russell Crowe Volume 2. Crowe is a good actor but better known as a notable douchebag with physical and verbal tirades of his own. The cursing and moaning he gave because allegedly the director walked in on a big scene is laughable because:
A) Bale isn't the director of Terminator Salvation, the director is a guy named McNugget, Big Mac, oh yeah MCG. However, MCG practically didn't do crap on the set when Bale lost it. Anyways, the only person on who really should complain on a movie set is the director. An actor, gets paid to act and react over and over. That's why they get millions of dollars for the PRIVILEDGE to be actor. It's not even a freaking real job.
Now to this Ted Haggard, disgraced Pastor business. What made me laugh about this business is how Haggard says he says he's a "heterosexual man with issues" after three years of gay sex with another man. Not too mention the hypocrisy that Haggard like many hypocrites in the church are against gay marriage.
To hear his excuses was a joke, a joke to anyone who believes in him, a joke to the church he represents, a joke to the wife who for whatever dumb reason still sits beside him, a joke to the man himself who can't seem to admit the obvious.
All in all still despite I would still put Bale's meltdown as funniest headline considering that Bale was also arrested for verbally assaulting his mother and sister. Wow
Making this even into a more LMAO moment is all the people defending this idiot's actions like the laughable Whoopi Goldberg, and old baldy Ron Howard.
Even Bale's apology was half assed at best as the actor was trying to make up excuses for his behavior saying:
"So please, I want to make completely clear, I am embarrassed by it, I regret it and I ask everybody to sit down and ask themselves have they never had a bad day," says Bale. "Have they ever lost their temper and really regretted it immensely?"
Yes Chris we've all had bad days but none of us would be dumb enough to hurl insults, or provoke violence against our superiors in the effort to throw our ego around and risk getting fired.. LMAO This is the typical response giving by something still refusing to take full responsibility for what's he's done. Saying that others would have done the same. Well first off not everyone would have reacted like that so strike there one there buddy and second nobody who loves their job and keep it would do that.
Bale also goes on with his half ass apology:
"I'm not comfortable yet with this notion of being a movie star. I'm an actor and I don't know how to handle the movie star thing."
WTF? LMAO!!! What is Bale like twelve years old or something? These are words that a teenager who lost it would use to excuses his behavior not a THIRTY-FOUR MAN would use!!!
It seems Bale besides not knowing how "handle the movie star thing" hasn't mastered the phony apology thing. This is where a person acts like a major douchebag and tries to convince everyone that he or she has really learned his lesson.
In order to achieve this effect, several essential things must be done
1) Keep apology as short as possible
2) Do not make any excuses for such douchebaggery
Well clearly Bale failed on both counts. That big ego still won't let him do such a simple task. I wonder if Heath would have done the same? Nah
While Bale attempted such an apology he failed miserably by once again delivering the most laughable excuses I've ever heard thus still making a douchebag, an unapologetic douchebag.
This is why the SNL sketch making fun of Bale's tantrum was pure gold because everybody gets it that the guy ain't sorry. He's only sorry that the audio got leaked and everybody has lost whatever respect had for him. However, he's not really sorry. That's my take.

Well the lowlife US President, George W. Bush said his goodbyes He was always manipulative, delusional, and disgusting till the end (like his father). George W. tried to lay on his spiel to the American public one more time.
It's hilarious to see him doing it despite the fact that he knows and everyone else knows that his presidency has been nothing but a failure, a joke, garbage, a mockery. Yep.
Then again this is what people who voted for Bush asked for back in 2000 and 2004 a deceitful, lying president hiding himself in the flag to cover up his crimes and to still have the audacity to proclaim his presidency a success.
That's why I actually was going to decided to write this up.
Since Bush and his fellow lowlifes want to persist in patting themselves on the back and rewriting their pathetic legacy, then people should keep on writing and criticizing them. Especially if this really is America and people are allowed to speak out.
The farewell speech was the same right wing propaganda he's used for the eight years. This propaganda is a bigger insult now than back then in light of all the failures Bush has been involved in or failure to deal with: Katrina, 9/11 attacks (ironically this is what Bush used time and time to support and excuse his illegal actions), the economy, poor and outlandish spending, starting an illegal war with Iraq and the list goes on.
As someone said "the irony is immeasurable." Let's take a look at the lies that the nutjob and his fellow nutjobs spill out trying to rewrite history:
"When people live in freedom they do not willingly choose leaders who pursues campaigns of terror"
Yet they chose you , George W. Bush., two times who used fear tactics to gain the gullibility of many Americans of another terrorist attacks to get elected. Besides that there's the obvious place of Guantanamo Bay using terrorist torture tactis all the while Loser Bush and Loser Vice President Dick Cheney denied that torture was ever used and still want to place the US as the oversears of human rights and democracy.
"Around the world America is promoting human rights, dignity"
LMAO When you listen to these lines you can't help but die of laughter. The Gaza strip is a living example of human rights violations by Isreal which has been ignored by the US for years and years. Besides that any idiot whose done any real research on America's human rights records will find that America gets an F for promoting human rights with violations in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Chile and other places. This are the results of several death squads and several dictators put in place WITH US SUPPORT and aid. Last but not least who could not forget what happened at Abu Ghraib. Don't anyone insult my intelligence by telling me these are isolated incidents.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A32776-2004Jun10.html
Promoting human rights my dog's behind.
"Students are rising to meet higher standards in public schools."
Another LMAO moments. I would give credit to Bush if he actually could pass a lie as being even remotely believable but most of what I heard was such an over the top crock that it still was mind boggling to hear this madman still say this stuff.
As someone whose worked in public schools for over five years this is such a crock it ain't funny. Of course there are many reasons why students fail to meet higher standards but Bush's delusional stance that students are rising to meet higher standards is one again his attempt to cover up a failure. Not too mention the obvious fact that public schools have always been one of the most mismanaged, underfunded sectors of the economy especially now. Hell even my university has failed to provide any adequate finacial aid for their students so you can just imagine how much worse it would be in a public school.
"We took decisive measures to safeguard our economy" LMAO.
Yes one of the bleakest times in American history that have been compared to the depression and oh yeah Bush originally said that we weren't in a recession and he still declares adequate measures were taken. This is as funny as MCCain's declaration that the fundamentals of the economy are strong....
"I've always acted with the best interests of our country in mind"
Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Well now that 2008 is officially over I decided to make this blog. Rather than post in the forums I decided to make this to avoid any useless arguments. Here are my thoughts on the shows that ended in 2008 some I could care less that are gone because they were so stupid others I am sad to see go:
The Shield- Man this is probably the most overrated stupid show ever. It's hilarious that this show gets the attention it does. One dirty cop who commits his crimes in such an obvious fashion that he gets away with for seven season? The supporting characters in this show are entirely without a brain. The way that Mackey and Shane fool the Armenians is entirely idiotic. This show in turn takes their audience to be unintelligent and provides the most unrealistic finales ever. Glad this show is ever.
The Riches- The Riches was a great show on FX. I don't hand out complements sparingly but The Riches was at least original in contrast to the Shield and more convincing I might add with the characters. I have watched both seasons and I consider the show to be one of the better shows on cable TV. Minnie Driver, Eddie Izzard and the rest of the cast were a joy.
Boston Legal-Boston Legal man took a dive in the quality the last couple of seasons. A big part of that was the cast changes. They took out a lot of lovable characters and then left us with Jerry? WTF. Anyways, this season I feel they did get back on track. I absolutely loved the "Cowboy" episode with Denny and Alan. I also loved their paintball fights. Boston Legal unlike the Shield I feel went out in great fashion always interesting.
My Own Worst Enemy-Christian Slater has gotten a rebirth on screen. He totally owned the character of Edward Albright and Henry Spivey. I loved the characters as well they were all smart, intelligent, and real. Mike O'Malley, Saffron Burrows, Alfre Woodward, and James Cromwell were a stellar cast and provided the show with great acting. It's true that this show didn't do well in the ratings but that is in part due to a terrible time slot. Even Heroes could not provide adequate support for viewers to stay tuned. My Own Worst Enemy was a great show all around. I don't what NBC will put in it's slot (Eh more Jay Leno from what I heard) but I don't think it'll be great enough. This slot has been the death of other shows like Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, The Black Donnellys and the list goes on.
Pushing Daisies-Cool ABC show. It ran for two season which I supposed is decent. I watched a couple of episodes and laughed in every episode.
Eli Stone-Eli Stone was definitely my new best friend. Johnny Lee Miller and beautiful Natasha Henstridge were among the great actors who truly made this show memorable. The show about the guy ethical lawyer (man isn't that a rare find)with an aneurysm who gets visions was in my mind the best show on Television in a while. Sure there is a bit of a Boston Legal influence there but Eli Stone stood by itself with it's premise and it's stories. Victor Garber from "Alias" is in my perspective one of the better actors on TV today. Hell all of these people are big movie stars yet they decided to dedicate their tv to small screen in delivering this great legal drama.
There are probably other shows and I might to add to the list but so far these shows off the top of my head is what I remember (or in terms of The Shield I'll forget) for 2008.

17Dec 08Couldn't decide what's funnier the incident or how Bush reacted to it, once again playing the incident for laughs. It was funny as well that despite Bush's victory lap to Iraqi here's more proof of disapproval toward his horrible presidency. A disgraceful American president. Yep. Anyways, I could watch this video a million times.

Decent Spider-Man adventure featuring him battling Shocker. This is from December 1975. It still holds up well once you get into. The story about Jonah Jameson throwing a party for the engaged Betty Brant and Ned Leeds when the lights go out. Spider-Man investigates only to find out it's Shocker at it again. The story does start of rather slow but has a nice cliffhanger at the end. I still liked the other story with The Punisher http://www.tv.com/users/marvelfan89/profile.php?action=show_blog&entry=m-100-25582736 but this one is nice too.

From November 1976 a nice story bringing in The Punisher and Nightcrawler to stop Jigsaw and a rogue punisher. I never had money to buy Amazing Spider-Man as a kid but it's great to have that money now.
These are from the Bronze Age Era. I liked it a lot I liked these Marvel comics where there's more than one Marvel SuperHero. This one as well has the character of Jigsaw, one of the Punisher's enemies.

Well I love this month probably more than other months. You got your holidays including Thanksgiving and Veterans Day a lot of much needed rest. You got the November sweeps going but in my book more imporantly is my Birthday on November 13. Times are tough but I will always find time to celebrate. I had a small party then ate my cake and shared with my great dog. Yeah I have Marvel characters on my cake and proud out of it. I also bought a Dark Shadows comic from 1971 called Creatures of Torment. It's about a monster hunter of sorts named Hans Lieber. His mission is to come Collinwood to kill who he believes is a monster Barnabas but gets more than he bargained for when he runs into the werewolf Quentin. I also bought a ton of new DVDS including the Defenders of the Earth cartoon, bought a new DVD burner. I also donated money to the LA Mission. Right now is the time to donate food and money for the holidays. I am not rich but I give what I can. I've given money before to Braille Institute and Habitat for Humanity. There's people out there I know who got money especially those CEO lowlifes who'll get a big paycheck from the bailout but don't do anything so I am happy to do it once a year even though there should be more done. I spent the rest of the week laughing at Sarah Palin and gun trotting maniacs. I also laughed at morons who homophobic people who voted yes on Prop 8 who are disgusted that their names are blacklisted on the net yet are not disgusted that they voted on a proposition that takes away certain rights of gays and are ok with once bashing gays. Yeah. Anyways, it was a great week to classic November.

This was the comic a student gave me a while back. I didn't get to look at it till now. I haven't read any Superman comics for a long, long time but this was a good read. I saw that they did a spotlight on Smallville about Doomsday played by Sam Witwer. Of course Smallville doesn't quite follow the comics but anyhow. It's a nice read I recommend it. If you love Superman you've probably read it if not but you like comics pick up the series.

So Loser President and others proposed what a 700 billion bailout? However, he gave virtually no details about how that would work, nor did he admit he and his own administration poor job in bringing the economy down. LOL. This is the same guy that said numerous times that we are not in a recession.
God allmighty so people are losing their homes, banks are going out of business and now finally this loser perhaps in a last ditch effort to put a positive spin on his corrupt presidency is trying to pushothers to approve of a plan whose end result could be even worse to the economy. I think one radio show host said it best when he called this "a rush job like Iraq", absolultey no planning nor a solution but everyone must approve of it right away because this corrupt President said so? I think not.
Not too mention there is small thing about who actually will pay for this, I certainly don't. Also who will be accountable if funds are mismanaged we know this crappy administration takes no responsibility for anything so whoever is President who either approves this plan or disapproves is going to inherit this financial unstable situation that happened during a Republican administration or the fact that this same administration WASTED billions of dollars in a five year war with a countrythat we have on business with since the data supporting that war was based on lies!!!!
McCain is "suspending" his campaign rather than debate campaign on this. Remember this is the same senile old man who said the economy'sfundamentals are strong. LMAO!!!!!! Doesn't that just fills you with confidence? LMAO.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out but right now right now it obviously smells like a rat especially if the taxpayer gets left to pay the bill.

A good graphic novel for any Buffy fans Scott Allie describes as It's a reprint of sorts from original Buffy origins story but has extra stories starring Dru and Spike at the Worlds Fair, an appearance from Pike and even Dawn before she was in the show. He says "The stories in this volume take place before Buff Summers ever reached Sunnydale". I am no Buff expert but having watched the show on and off till the end the graphic novel was a nice bonus to see an alternative view of Buffy's beginnings. In certain cases you get more from the novel than what you get from this as Scott puts it the "loose ends" are solved. There is also a further examination of Buffy's time in mental institution that was part of the episode "Normal Again". This is one of four volumes of which you can read more info here probably most Buffy have read it but I sure haven't. When the series ended in 2003, I stopped watching Buffy and was delighted that they comic books/graphic novels this Voume starts by what Amazon.com 2007. You can read more here;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffy_the_Vampire_Slayer_Omnibus
Anyhow continuity aside, speaking from a general point of view this volume even if you've never watched Buffy will give you action and entertainment that by the end you know Buffy's mission is. There is also an appearance by Angel here in a great story. Anyways, this thing is a great read, lots of action, the artwork is superb and the dialogue is dark, funny and hip. Buy it, read it, borrow it but get it. Enjoy the scans.

This was funny the cherry top on the sundae if you will. The loser owner, crappy forum I exposed as a joke has become even a bigger joke which I didn't think possible. It seems that once again, the losers on the Wrestling Asylum were arguing about the state of this toilet site (no surprise there as I've posted in my previous blog exposing the inept abusive moderators). So this time either out of desperation, stupdity, wiping out the previous disgraces, the loser owner Douglas Nunnally decided to delete all threads, posts etc of the site. He also changed the design of the site and LMAO it has to be the worst design and graphics I've seen on any board!!!! Even my one year old nephew could do better!!
Most of it is dark and unreadable (then again this might be a blessing as most of this forum were useless flame wars by the users I've mentioned). Anyhow, to me it was just another wonderful moment where I relish how right I was about a couple of losers, stalkers who in their best effort embartassed themselves and no one else (making up phony account, stalking me, harassing others). Gladly and proudly their offensive messages and their failed attempts at stalking me at this site was stopped by the sfaff and I have to give my utmost thanks for that. Now all that's left are a few more inept moderators at other forums like Weforums but in the meantime I will relish this for a long time. - Posted Aug 20, 2008 6:31 am PT

Based on a true story and a book The Soloist is a special movie that might end up getting serious Academy Award attention. This story takes place in Los Angeles and has a lot to say about LA (Namely dirty politics, the homeless problem specifically in Skid Row but can be atttributed to the whole state, and mental illness) it was a must see. The fact that there were two good actors in the lead Jamie Fox and Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) was enough for me to see it. The movie is about a homeless musician with schizophrenia. At least that's part of the story, this a movie that has a story within a story. We learn about the brilliance of Nathaniel Ayers Jr. pictured here played by Fox:

Ayers for whatever reason developed schizophrenia but was a brilliant cello and violin player with a love for Beethoven. LA Times journalist, Steve Lopez (Downey) does something that not many journalists do he reaches to Ayers for help seeing his brilliant playing (not too mention the circumstances which he lives in which are to say the least inhumane but no one gives a damn about except the homeless shelter Ayers visits.)
Here is a picture of the Steve Lopez:
Lopez really doesn't know what he is getting himself into as Ayers schizophrenia often poses numerous problems not just for Ayers haalth but any potentital rewarding job opportunities. Both Fox and Downey play these parts like they really know them. Like I said a story within a story, we see the homeless problem in Skid Row (although really all of California like other states has a big homeless problem). We see REALLY NO ASSISTANCE for the homeless. Then the Mayor makes some speech promising to help the homeless but as with most politicians most of their promises are crap as we see a sweep (really a beatdown of the homeless by the pigs, I mean cops of LA). This is something that is done in other cities for whatever reason (I guess maybe the mentality is if they get rid of the homeless and move them out of the area no one will realize there is a problem).
Anyhow, I really liked the director's guts (Joe Wright) to show not just Nathaniel's story but the story of other homeless people and poor people of the area. This could have been one of those garbage "hollywood ending" movies where everybody gets saved but Joe Wright presents the real consequences and results of situations.
Anyways, it's not coming till November according to IMDB but when it does go see it if you are a serious movie viewer.

LOL Well sometimes when you go looking for abusive authority figures to laugh at stuff like this drops right in your hand. Disgraced police chief William Bratton , in one of his many dumb moments last week shrug any involvement to place new measures that restrict paparazzi. He said basically if celebrities used more restraint that would stop the problem. LMAO. Doesn't this idiot watch TMZ? Anyways, the idiot racist sympathizer (see May Day attacks from 07) continued his stupid rant by saying the following:
" Lindsay Lohan has gone gay we don't seem to have much of an issue" LOL Yep that's right the disgraced pic has nothing better to do than to call somebody gay (which even if it's true is none of his business) and call the paparazzi scare nothing but nonsense once again throwing his credibility and the crediblity of the LAPD out the window (again). Gee I wonder what would have happened if someone labeled Bratton as gay if he would have been so smug? What a piece of garbage.

Well this has been anything but a dull summer. Besides the comic book movies this summer has been an utter delight to watch in terms of the news stories coming out: some of which can be read here:
One of my favorite has to be the Starbucks Cop who got fired after he stopped getting free coffee or the woman who was awarded 150k after her fiancée called of their wedding!!!!http://www.wsbtv.com/news/16966088/detail.html
Jesus this is how frivolous lawsuits have gotten in America? You can actually sue now for being jilted? What's next suing after being dumped by your boyfriend/girlfriend?
Let's see what else made me laugh, well Eddie Murphy's crappy movie "Meet Dave" proved despite what one loser on one forum nobody reads once again showed that Murphy is nothing more than a joke himself.
Then there was Scott McClellan. You gotta love these Bush dissenters, after years of taking the money and supporting a corrupt administration which they know lies and deceits the America, how they try to separate themselves from it so they don't appear as the guilty conspirators they are. You see Scotty has been promoting a book called What Happened a book where he basically tell us (from what the excerpts tells us) what we already know, the Iraqi War was an orchestrated boatload of lies. Even without reading the book I've watched many of Scott's press meetings and found him either to be a total idiot or someone so brainwashed or abrasive against questions against administration into thinking what he said was right to reporters (who clearly weren't buying what he was saying) that it baffles me why he would bother to write a book. Even funnier is his latest comments that FoxNews has never been a fair and balanced network, of which Keith Olberman who runs the brilliant "Countdown" show called it a "No-Duh". No it's other things that make me laugh like besides Scotty not trying to come of like the rightwing scum he was or is from one source accuses the "liberal media" of falling for the "propaganda" that he dispensed at the behest of the president and others.? I hate to break it him or others but the liberal media has been the one that has been for eight years (going all the way back to Bush's controversial presidential win over Al Gore) has been the most critical of Bush while the rightwing media hasn't. For instance KPFK has been outspoken against the Iraqi War since it's inception. Heck even comedy genius Jon Stewart of the Daily Show has been ROUTINELY making fun of Bush and pointing out the lies of Bush and his administration since 2001 and counting not too mention Noam Chomsky or CSPAN.Anybody who doubts that watch clips available on Youtube of Scott trying to weasel his way out of answering tough questions about investgations in the White House including the famous CIA Leak where Bush threatened to fire people over leaking any info on CIA Leak:
(great video catching the weasel in act called "Scott McClellan Tap Dancing"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6R-0wOc6a_g
Even a reporter, David Gregory, calls his actions "ridiculous" and points out several of his contradictions including one from 2003 that Karl Rove and Scooter Libby were not involved in CIA leak.
That statement then about liberal media is just funny by its IGNORANCE alone. One other example is the beautiful courage shown by White House press reporter Helen Thomas at 85 years old and telling Scotty how wiretapping is illegal under constitution without a warrant:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weSpqLq1rto&feature=related
So much courage by Thomas and so much cowardice by Scotty (but at least he's honest now. LMAO) and there's much more including a video of Scotty dodging questions about the confidence of Bush on Fema's director.
Likewise even most people who watch the news would know that most of the major networks are very conservative (even during the Katrina disaster) and lean to the right. I mean look up at clips like this (from 2005) where Scotty in behalf of the administration finds it puzzling that democratic leaders come to defense of liberal organizations like Moveon.org, or Michael Moore (also critical of Bush for many years) it's like he's had amnesia or something (I guess that happens when you are selling a book)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7khioz8c74k&feature=related
Yet this is the same Scotty believes that Bush Jr. would snap out of insanity and become a bi-partisan leader (as seen in his interview with Keith Olbermann)? LMAO. Bottom line is Scott McClellan is a loser, as White House Press secretary was a willing puppet. The fact that he is now trying to speak public now about his time is irrelevant. James Moore of the Huffingpost said it best "there is a certain amount of ring cowardice in this the time to speak truth to power is when it matters something can be achieved" so Scotty joins disgraced Colin Powell, disgraced George Tenet, guys who had doubts yet went along with the lies when it suited them and had no real backbone to really speak up. Yep.
Anyways, along the same lines after watching so much coverage of Obama and McCain's campaign and seeing how McCain has come across as an utter fool has also added to my laughs over the summer.
I tell you this summer has been for laughs and comic book movies.
