Lakers and Magic analysis so far

LAKERS up to 3-1 on Magic. The Lakers have shown they are the better team since game one. Most of the critics who jumped on the Denver Nuggets bandwagon jumped on Los Angeles Lakers bandwagon.

In last game Derek Fisher hit a big three to force overtime thanks. The LAKERS battled to win the game.

Derek has underperformed in the playoffs to be sure, but he came through. You don't know see too many thirty four year old guys dive for balls and play defense Fisher does. Right now he is the toast of the town getting the money shots in newspapers and sports outlets and deservingly so.

The Lakers showed their dominance in Gm 1 vs. Magic. Kobe was angry and went on to score forty in a Finals record.

It's like Mark Jackson said "it's like a grown man playing with kids". LMAO

Where the hell was Dwight Howard you may ask? Nowhere to be found. LMAO. All this garbage that Howard would manhandle Gasol, Bynum, Odom and anybody else has been just garbage. He's average a measly sixteen points per game and in game one he had apathetic twelve points. The LAKERS blasted the MAGIC by twenty-five points. Howard hasn't been Superman not by any means of the imagination. If there is any Superman anywhere it's on the LAKERS team. You know who it is right?

The other games have been close but the LAKERS have been there and won them with the exception of game three. Game 2 was especially hilarious because the Magic missed a golden opportunity to tie the series.

All Stan Van Gundy could do following this is just smile.

Interesting fun facts about the Finals:

The Magic are losers in the Finals. Remember some guy named Shaq? He was swept by clearlybetter Rockets team.

In fact this Magic team is so much like that 1995 team. They both lived and died by the three, and they had an upcoming center.

They also had games where one guy was the goat. In 1995, Nick Anderson later nicknamed "Nick The Brick" missed a couple of free throws that would have won the game. Fast forward fourteen yearslater and Dwight Howard misses a couple of big free throws. It's like Deja Vu.

One other other fun fact: Both Van Gundy brothers are losers in the finals. Jeff with the New York Bricks, I mean Knicks in 99 and now Stan. Karma is a biiiatch. LMAO

Not even a washed up, joke of a steroid freak is enough for to give the Magic hope especially

if the LAKERS come to play.

The irony is amazing though. Here you have the LAKERS and KOBE back in the finals (Thirtieth for the franchise), and the LAKERS are facing the Magic. Kobe is trying to silence the critics that said he couldn't win without Shaq and yet here is facing Shaq's old team with a guy like Shaq. It's very fitting.

I even remember Shaq in the crowd during the Cavs game. I tell you very fitting.

Speaking of silencing more critics, Pau Gasol has been great. He's been perhaps the most consistent LAKER player all season aside from Kobe. He's been anything but soft. Anyways, LAKERS all the way. It'll be their fifteenth title I believe. That's A LOT.

LMAO. They have more Finals appearences and more titles combined that some teams who just barely gotten to the finals. Hoping them to end series so people can celebrate.

LMAO overhyped Cleveland Cavaliers are gone

LMAO I couldn't believe it. Not that I care because I am a LAKERS fan, and yet I felt inclined to comment it because everyone jumped on the Cleveland bandwagon (well not everyone).

The ones who did said the Cavs were going to cruise to the Finals either that or Boston. Boston couldn't make up for Kevin Garnett's absence and Cavs could no more hide the fact that they are a one dimensional team. They also couldn't hide the fact that this was another CAVS choke job of epic proportions. I nearly died laughing when this same TNT team that was salavating everytime Lebron got the ball showed that montage of Cleveland failures from Browns to Indians and Cavs (the famous shot on Craig Ehlo by Michael Jordan, Lebron being swept by the Spurs).

Back to my point at hand this was pretty hyped and overrated CAVS team. I really didn't care that they had the best record in the NBA that's practically given nowadays in a weak Eastern Conference or the Western Conference for that matter. I did pick them to win over the Magic by five games, but I remembered that this was the CAVS after all.

I remember watching a couple of games with the CAVS during the season and not being impressed. Aside from Lebron James this bench sucks and even the starting lineup isn't that impressive. Cleveland doesn't have a big post up presence here. Again when you got one guy that makes up and is the whole offense it's not hard to see why the CAVS lost.

I for one though love it. Too much hype, not enough results and just like the Denver Nuggets, the Cavs have a long history of being losers. Maybe now people will stop comparing Lebron to Kobe:

Not this Kobe and Lebron but this one:

Why would they anyways, Lebron hasn't delivered anything nor have the Cavs. This will be a textbook of not buying into the hype and yes a choke job.

Spring Break, Spring Cleaning and other thoughts

Well April is almost over so thought I'd put in my thoughts here:

Wrestlemania-The card was ok but nothing special especially with Crappy H once again using his politics to plant himself at the main event and we all know he doesn't put anybody over (at least not without getting title shortly after). His reign on Smackdown was ok with me because RAW has been so much more enjoyable without him. Orton not going over is also hilarious because it makes all the heat he has been getting for weeks, months useless. Way to go WWE. LMAO I read one user's "post" of this card, he called it a terrible card. He had me interested until I read the read of his post and he still had HHH in the main event. LMAO at Chris Jericho wrestling three old guys: Ricky Steamboat, Jimmy Snuka, and Piper. He went from being World Champion to this? Then we got Cena vs. Edge vs. Big Show? Yawn. We know Cena is an unstoppabe machine. Money In the Bank is probably the only thing I was looking forward aside from Undertaker and Shawn Michaels (even though most of the guys in the ring won't get a push except for the winner). Glad I don't order these ppvs.

Moving on, I read on here about shows about to be canceled. One thing I will hand it to this site is that they feed you literally anything and everything you want to know about these shows. However, instead of talking about that. I wanted to offer my opinions on Dollhouse again which will be canned (probably already has but I don't keep up with the feeds)

    DollHouse:

Dollhouse was under a lot of hype obviously for Joss Whedon. It was delayed because Joss wanted the show just right. Well delay or no delay, while the premise was great with the whole implanting of memories, the show hasn't quite delivered all the goods.

Eliza Dushku is hot and can act but the stories and direction need work. This show also can't decide whether it wants to be a soap opera an action show or a scifi show.

I also think that they need to kill of a few characters to make this interesting. Like a few weeks ago they had the episode about the breach in the Dollhouse. That was a very good episode but it very little ramifications.

Still I think the show works. They reveal a lot in the show and yet they still haven't answered many questions. Plus on the bright side, I doubt Dollhouse has a huge budget. It's not as let's say as money consuming as I believe Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles to be.

Also what the heck is Fox gonna replace this show with? Dollhouse has potential. It has problems for sure but it has potential so it shouldn't be canceled.Yes the ratings aren't great but new shows will tend to suffer and it has somewhat of a tough time slot.

    Spring Break and Spring Cleaning:

I had a nice vacation. Nice to have time off even it's just a week. Following though I decided to clean up my garage for Spring Cleaning. You really don't know what you have until you have the time to look for it. I found movies, comic books, magazines that I forgot or couldn't find where they are. A ton of comic books from Robocop, to X-MEN, to even Howard The Duck. I think once I get more time I'll put a few pics. For now, I'll post what I scanned here:

Robocop-Robocop was a comic book for Marvel. The movies were good (minus the last one) but as I started to read the comic I really started to like it It goes beyond what the movie goes through (one benefit of reading a comic book adaptation instead of a two hour movie with the same character). The artwork was decent, it's got a lot of action and overall decent stories:

I found this Beatles Cover. I know it must belong to one of their vinyl records but forget which one anybody know?

Then came another blast from the past, I found my E.T. Storybook. They used to make these storybooks back in the day as like a guide for a movie for kids (still got my Return of Jedi storybook). Kinda neat. It was in decent condition and still had all its pages.

X-MEN Comic Magneto Reborn (very nice issue):

I also had time to read the book "The Soloist" by Steve Lopez which was the base for the same movie with Robert Downey and Jamie Foxx:

It's been released this week I believe after it was delayed months after it's initial release last year. Why this was done I have no idea because it would have GUARANTEED Oscar nods for Fox and Downey Jr.. Why they would push it is anybody's guess, not too mention that it may not get the same attention as it might have done. The book is good, it goes into more detail obviously than the movie. I would recommend reading the book and seeing the movie (which I reviewed here):
