Jake Gyllenhaal, Prince of Persia (ever see that in the same sentence before?)
I mean, I like Jake Gyllenhaal as an actor, but why must producers go head first into the pool of blockbuster actors hungry for money, rather than those who know the series, and the chracaters, and have a passion for gaming? They are as good as actors as anyone, anyone can be a good actor if they keep at it. Until producers understand that, game-movies will be consistently mediocre.Half-Life and Metal Gear Solid don't have huge budgets anyway, so there's hope yet for those future game-movie adaptions.Hey, when was the last time we got a news update on The Continue »- Posted Dec 19, 2008

2008 is set to overthrow the almighty 2007. Can it be!?
After the fall of 2007, the gaming industry proved to be the best form of entertainment. Movies are still on top, but they suffer from heavy criticism, and large numbers of reviews. Books are still good to, enlivening the imagination, but to be honest, how many people read books to use their imagination? Not a lot, people prefer to just drift through a game, with doing any effort at all. So that leaves gaming, the last possible market... And it's booming!
