  Games I Like

  Best Game Ever: Deus Ex. The original was easy to control with keyboard & mouse, not a complicated interface, some rpg aspects , but mostly fps, futuristic, good AI not brilliant but definitely challenging at times, blew away half-life IMHO, lots of locations, location and story driven - illuminiati France Triad Hong Kong etc., really good looking for the time, paths to take and options for solutions numerous, replayablility, npc's numerous helpful, dialogue options very smart, didn't have to drive around or fly just simply get the clues solve the problems and kill the bad guys in your way, no repetitious waves of stupid opponents, must have ability to climb and jump - simple realism, some stealth, some berserker, dark cool game
  
  Second Place FPS: Far Cry People who complained this game was too tough are whiners. It's beautiful, tough and smart. Good but predictable story turns.
  
  Overrated Game: Halo Nice to look at but completely predictable and repetitive. Yeah! I get to drive and fly... big deal! I'd get a driving or flying sim if I wanted to drive or fly. The last driving sequence was pretty fun though. Gameplay severely dumbed down and played like what I imagine most consoles to play like.
  
  Other Favorite Games: The entire Fallout series - From the opening sequence and song to the well developed stories, intrigue and dialogue, looked great (lot's of gore) played great (in D & D fashion) and was great (great huge stylized manual, great artistic style, Armstrong song fifties bombshelter theme). It was very different from everything else. Turn based, futuristic, stylized... loved it.
  Civ and Age series has been good, I've been playing the Age series since the beginning, but just started playing Civ at 3rd series. Both are different and similar gather resource and strategize games.
  Max Payne series good, bullet time nice feature
