29Apr 07I just watched the trailer for the next call of duty game and it looks great. It maintains the same level of intense combat as its predecessors while adding the modern warfare aspect. The graphics look insane. The storyline looks like it will be awesome. From the video, the setting appears to be somewhere in the Mid East, maybe Iran or Iraq. There isn't a set release date for this one yet, but I can't wait for it. If this game is on PS3, then you can bet I'll be getting one. Together with MGS4 and the next Ratchet and Clank, this game has basically confirmed my interest in getting a PS3 some time in the near future.

1Apr 07I know that not everyone on here is a baseball and those who are aren't all Braves fans, but here me out. The Braves are coming back this season and recovering from a humiliating end to their 14 year winning sreak in our division. We have a stronger pitching staff and bullpen, and we have our four hard hitters in the lineup to help out the offense (Andruw Jones, Chipper Jones, Brian McCann, and Jeff Francoeur). I feel confident int he Braves this season. I believe that the team is in perfect shape to coem back strong this year and reclaim their rightful title of N.L. East Champs. We have to start this season if we want to beat our own record of 14 consecutive division titles. I guess it will be about 2022 when we pass ourselves. This should be a season to remember and it will hopefully overshadow last year's miserable defeat.

AWESOME is the only word to describe 300. It is the best movie I have ever seen. So much action in such a short amount of time. It was well worth the $8.50 that I paid for my ticket. I recommend that everyone go see it asap.

25Feb 07Everone had to love the first one on PS2 just as much as I did. It was so great. A game with the idea of GTA behind it, but you play as the guy. You can never go wrong with a game where you get to blow things up and fly all sorts of attack helicopters. I've heard rumors that the new one is set in Iraq, which is cool. I hope they bting back the same characters, but if they don't I'm sure the game will still be just as good. I would say that Mercenaries is biting at the heels of MGS3 as my favorite game on PS2. I'm sure that the sequel will be another mind-blowing game. I can't wait to see some trailers and screenshots from it. When it's released I'll definately have to give in and buy a PS3, or maybe I'll just wait until after Christmas when the price drops *fingers crossed*.

The area around New York City is in the middle of a huge Nor'Easter right now, so no classes all day! It's mostly ice, with about three or four inches of snow.

I don't know how many of y'all are Lost nuts like me, but after a logn wait, I'm anxious to see tonight's new episodes. It's such a great show. Everything is getting so crazy with the others right now that I can't wait to see the rest of this season. I'm bettign that by the end of the night, we'll be just as confused as we started, but it will be about something new. They always answer the unanswered questions from previous shows, but those answers create three new cliffhangers that leave you waiting another week. That must be one of the main reasons I love the show; the suspense. Kate's pretty hot, too. Two hours will be enough to fill me up and keep me going for another week until next Wednesday's episode.

4Feb 07As you've all probably seen by now, their are rumors about a possible Ghostbusters game. Anyone who was born in the 80s can remember this great movie. I would definately buy the game if it is released on a console I own. It's too bad that it would be released in 2008 at the earliest. If they were to get Bill Murray and soem of the other GB guys in addition to Dan Aykroyd, then it would a great game. Hopefully it will be a little bit better than the Nintendo game that was released way back in the day. Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but we've come a long way since then. On a next gen system like 360, it shoudl kick ass. Imagine how realistic they could make the ghosts. It should definately be a must-buy game for any fan of the movie.

I've been thinking about it for a few days, and I've decided I want a PSP. I don't know when, all I know is that I want one. I'll probably get it before the end of the school year. It would be great for me, because of traveling so much and needing to save space. It's something that is small and compact, yet will provide me with quality entertainment. I knwo the first game that I will buy will be Portable Ops, then SOCOM. EA has a Medal of Honor game out on PSP that looks good. I know that Vice City Stories is a great game. I guess 200 bucks is a reasonable price for it, and if I check out EBAY, I'm sure someone on there is selling one for a little less.

Here it is. The big game is around the corner. The Colts and the Bears will duke it out in two weeks. I would rather the Patriots have won lost night, but I suppose they've already won enough Super Bowls. I have to go with the Bears, because I could just never bring myself to cheer for Peyton Manning. Chicago has been doing well this year, and I realky think they could win. It will be a close and competitive game, no matter the outcome.

17Jan 07This looks pretty cool. A nation wide MGS: PO tournament. I regret to admit that that is one of only two MGS games I haven't played along with Twin Snakes. It looks very good and it does actually tie into the storyline of it's PS2 counterparts. I'll definately have to try it out ASAP. Maybe I'll even buy a PSP before the summer so I can have it while I'm sailing. I'm sure that I'll need something like a PSP or possibly even my PS2 to unwind after a long day of handling lines and standing bridge watches. I really can't wait for MGS4, it's gonna blow my world. Hideo Kojima is the man. I can still remember the rst time I played MGS. The old days of Shadow Moses when the characters didn't have eyes but simply dark lines where they should have been. Phrases like "what was that noise" still echo far away in my dreams at night. MGS has definately come a long way as far as AI and graphics, but it's always been the greatest storyline of any game that I know of. I guess the only bad thing about Kojima's masterpiece is that some day it has to end. Snake has to die and Metal Gear has to be stopped once and for all. Until then, I'll just keep enjoying the genius of Konami.

15Jan 07This could be a very cool game. Unlike previous WW2 games, it encompasses everything from aircraft to battleships to submarines. It looks very interactive, but it could also get confusing. From a few of the screenshots, it looks like there can be a load of players at one time with a lot of screens split up. I'll probably rent it first rather than buy it immediately. On a side, 24 rocked last night!

8Jan 07I was chekcing out EA's next Medal of Honor game and stumbled across this next-gen shooter that they're also releasing some time this year. From the previews and screenshots it looks liek a pretty good game. It's one that I'll defiantely have to check out once it's released and I have a PS3. Apparently EA is working on close to two dozen games for PS3 right now, which seems ridiculous. I would think with that many games that none of them would be worth playing, but form the looks of a few, they might be alright.

7Jan 07I got several games for Christmas this year, but I can't play them now! I got SOCOM: Combined Assault, CoD3, and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. I played them a little bit before returning to school, but now they're sitting at home collecting dust. I never got a chance to try any of them out online. I especially wnated to try SOCOM online to see if it is as good as SOCOM 2. The single player was an improvement, so I have to assume for now that the multiplayer is better also. Hopefully in another month or so, I will have a bit more freedom here at Kings Point and will be able to bring a PS2 along with my games up here. I also kind of miss playing Guitar Hero. Laugh if you must, but it is a really fun and addicting game. Maybe I'll be able to get some GH tournaments started on my deck. Hopefully, I'll be home for the debut of Guns of the Patriots, because I don't think I could bear to wait any longer than I already have for it. It'll be great to catch up on the adventures of the greatest hero in the video game world.

14Dec 06So Airborne looks pretty badass. I can't wait to play it whenever it does come out. The trailer is incredible. They music is the same as Frontline which has an amazong soundtrack and the graphics of Airborne look to be unrivaled by any other WW2 shooter I've seen on console. It will definately be the top game on my wish list.

24Sep 05The PS3 controller does look like a bommerang, but it's still not as bad as the Halo controller with one analog stick higher than the other. That's just plain uncomfortable.

24Sep 05It sucks that the only way to get stealth is to shoot all of those ducks. It's gotta be near impossible. There must be over a hundred of them and they're in such random places.

24Sep 05I can't believe that EA can't make MLB games anymore. They'll be making NCAA baseball games now. Hopefully they'll still be just as good. I've always liked EA sports games better than any others. Sega just better not screw up MLB games. That's like EA buying the rights to all world war 2 shooters. No offense but Activision does a better job at that type of game. I guess I'll be getting more familiar with college baseball in the coming year.

24Sep 05Release date is in November. It's gonna be sweet. Players can drive vehicles and man turrets on boats. One weapon available is the new XM8 rifle that the military is currently working on. Of course the old reliable M4A1 is still in action. One dissappointment is that there is still no sign of Kahuna returning to the game. Oh well, Jester and Spectre are just as good. Once Zipper can develop a SOCOM game for PS3, it will be unbelievable.

24Sep 05This game looks awesome. It's on PS2, butthe graphics are unbelievable. In one screenshot that i saw, the M1 Garand was zoomed in and you can see the serial number and the armory name on the gun. I think that this one is gonna blow all other World War II shooters out of the water. EA really needs to step it up with Medal of Honor. Ever since Frontline that series has only gotten worse and worse. Rising Sun could've been good, if only the graphics were better, and I hear that European Assault isn't that great.
