Just thought I should post a quick blog wishing everyone Happy Holidays, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! (since I obviously won't be posting a new blog that soon )

No real reason to post a longer blog actually, since I don't know how many people are left around here to read it. Well, I'm not that much around here either anymore, but I'll setill be around to take care of my guides. As for posting on forums or in blogs, not so much. Sorry about that.

As for TV.com related updates, I finally reached level 60, Grape Ape. I'm especially proud of doing this because of 3 reasons:

- it is a pretty high level

- the level name comes from a show I edit

- not only is it from a show I edit, but also Grape Ape was the first show I became editor for back in July 2006.

And also I gained 3 new show editorships this last month; and they are, from least important to most important:

1. Ultra Maniac

I used to be editor for this show before, but I was overthrown by my TC. Well, now she was retired so I got the guide again.

2. Bartender

I requested to add this show to the TV.com database, and in a week it got accepted. One week later, I also got the editorship for it.

3. Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs

I'm especially proud of being editor for this show because this was one of the first (if not the first) anime I ever watched. I just finished re-watching it today, after so many years, and the guide still needs a lot of work.

Just thought I'd post a new blog to let everyone know I'm still alive.

I know it's been over4 months since I posted my last blog, or posted anywhere else on this website, for that matter. Ever since the redesign I have spent less time here, but did log in occasionally to take care of my queue and rarely adding stuff to my own guides. I apologize for not posting in any of your blogs for such a long time.

Here are a few updates:

On TV.com - reached 10,000 submissions, and my 3 years of TV.com anniversary was in September (didn't feel like posting a blog then) And that's about it.

In real life: Started a new college this October and bought a TV for my room.

So, ever since the TV.com redesign, I spend most of my time on MyAnimeList (MAL). Everyone who wants to keep track of all the anime they watch or manga they read should get an account there. Plus you can add a lot of stuff on your profile pages.

Well, it's only been exactly a month and five days from my last blog, so it's a little early to post a new blog now , but I'll do it anyway, even though there's not that much to talk about.

Levels

Well the main news is that I made it to level 57 on TV.com

Level 57 ~ Mr Biggles

It's apparently a reference to the show South Park, but since I haven't seen that many episodes of it after season one, I don't really get it.

Also at some point I leveled up on Gamespot as well, where I am now level 21, Rescue Ranger.

Finale

This weekend I have seen the series finale for Avatar: The Last Airbender (as I'm sure most of you have too).

I'm too lazy right now to actually type a review for the last episodes , but they were good, and over all the entire show was a great one.

I'm going to miss the show now that it's over.

Sequel

So, the sequel to Batman Begins is out and it's called The Dark Knight. I want to see it, of course , as I rarely miss any comic book based movies, and Batman is one of my favorite superheroes.

It looks good, and from what I've heard it really is good. I'm not sure yet when I'll get to see it, but hopefully soon. And those who have seen it, you'd better not spoil it for me.

Already watched the Gotham Knight anime (where the action takes place between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight), so I'm all set.

Oh, and as you can see I have a new avatar too.

DVDs

Earlier today I got Superman: The Animated Series DVD Volume 2, meaning 3 DVDs which contain episodes #19-36.

I would have preferred Volume 3, with the last episodes of the series, but since they didn't have it, I figured I'd get this one. Now all I need is to get the other 2 volumes too and I'll have the complete series.

It's good though this volume has the Batman/Superman cross-over, World's Finest. The special features from the DVD are pretty cool too.

Keychains

I also ordered via internet an Ichigo (from Bleach) keychain, which should arrive in a couple of weeks. It looks something like this:

I would have preferred a Hitsugaya one , but unfortunatelly I couldn't find one of those.

Hey everyone.

Well, it's been like two and a half months since my last blog, so I figured I should post a new one, even though there's not really that much to talk about.

The main reason I'm posting this blog is because I want to have at least one blog posted while I'm still level 56.

~ Texas Ranger

This is my favorite icon so far, and probably the best looking emblem of them all. I would have liked to stay for as much as possible on this level, but the way I have been subbing these last few days, I'll probably be a Texas Ranger for only one more week.

Speaking of subs, I have finally reached 8,000 subs. Next stop is 10,000 subs, even though I doubt I'll ever get there. But I guess I could try.

So, you're all probably wondering why I haven't been around here lately. The truth is, I was getting kind of bored with this site, so I figured a break would be good.

In other TV.com news: Well since the year is almost over, I guess I should review the most important things that happened to me on TV.com this past year:

As I remember (from older blogs ) I started 2007 at level 28, Disco Stu. Now I am at level 52, Guzzlefish.

I have made a lot of subs this year, getting both the Master of the Contributions and the Contributor Sensei emblems this year.

I have gotten a lot of more show editorships, including 2 Trusted for persons guides (thanks to Diamond-Hime ^_^).

I have written at least 90 blogs this year, making this my 225th blog.

I now have over 11,000 forum posts (I forgot how many I had at the start of the year )

But most importnatly, I made lots of great friends here, and gotten to know my older friends a lot better. And thanks to everybody who is my friend, for being my friend.

In other news: Again, a list of the most important things that happened to me this year (not too many since nothing too exciting happened to me )

Well let's see:

I watched lots of great anime this year, including Death Note, Claymore, Utawarerumono, The Vision of Escaflowne and others.

I started watching anime series like FullMetal Alchemist and Blood+.

I attended my first anime convention (and it was dissaponting ; for more details, read here)

I turned 21 this year.

That's about all I can think of.

And again, I want to thank all my friends for making the site so much fun.

Also, I feel like I should mention these things:

1. Tomorrow, I will take down my Christmas banner and re-upload my last banner. Afterwards (when I'll post a new blog ), I'll upload a new banner (special thanks to Diamond-Hime ) and change my avatar.

2. Don't expect me to make a new blog until either Friday 4 January 2008 or Monday 7 January 2008.

Hey everybody.

I know, this is my third blog this week, but I actually have a reason to blog today. Some of you might find this blog boring though.

She's Clare from the anime Claymore, for those who don't recognize her.

I finished watching Claymore earlier today and it was amazing. Anyone know if there's going to be a second season?

And I know I already posted a pic of her in another blog (a blog some of you might visit again ), but I like this pic more than the other one.

In other TV.com news: Well nothing important, just wanted to point out that I uploaded my Christmas banner (I uploaded it yesterday, and I know some of you already seen it, but I thought I should introduce it properly by posting a new blog )

Because of those tabs on top of my profile that cover parts of the banner, here's the link to the full image, since there are some things you can't see.

The banner has been uploaded on both TV.com and Gamespot. ^_^ I also have a new blog header, nothing spectacular though (thanks again Diamond-Hime for your help ^_^), and a new personal pic.

In other news: As I said above, I finished Claymore. If anyone has finished it, feel free to share your opinions on it with me.

Next up is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, which I should finish by Monday. Only problem is I haven't decided yet in what order I should watch the episodes.

It might not be time for a new blog, but I'll post it anyway.

In other TV.com news: Well Da Capo, one of the many shows I'm editor for got a new season (its 3rd). Actually, it started in October, but only now I managed to find a place to get the episodes. So I'll wait until the new season ends airing and then re-watch all the seasons. ^_^

Also, my Christmas banner will be uploaded tomorrow. Anyone who'll visit my profile starting tomorrow will be able to see it (except for those who already seen it already ); I'll probably make a new blog on Friday to introduce it.

In other news: Well not much happened since my last blog. I plan on finishing both Claymore and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya this week, so wish me luck.

Hey everybody.

I guess it's time for a new blog. It'll be a short blog though.

Not much else to say here, so I'll move to the next section of the blog.

Anyone who has seen Death Note knows her name, and who she is.

For all those who haven't seen the show or haven't finished it yet, her name is Misa Amane (but I won't say what her role will be, since it could be considered a spoiler )

I know, it's not a very good pic of her, but it will have to do.

In other TV.com news: I'm still subbing, just not as much. I plan on reaching level 52 by the end of the year, and maybe try to get to 11,000 forum posts too (but probably won't )

And there would be another thing to mention, but not too important, so I'll say it on Wednesday (it requires another female anime pic, and I can't have more than one in a blog )

Oh, and here's a question for you guys/girls: when do you think would be the right time for me to upload my Christmas banner? I was thinking next week, on the 19th. What do you think?

In other news: Well for anyone who didn't find out yet, I finished watching Death Note this weekend. It was awesome. I'm not going to post any spoilers , but if anyone has finished it, feel free to share your opinions on it with me.

Bad news is I haven't finished Claymore. But I'll finish it this week. I also managed to find all the episodes of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, so I'll watch that next.

Hey everybody.

I guess it's time for a new blog, even though there's not much to say.

Well first of all I want to point out that I reached 10,000 forum posts on TV.com

It's nice to have this many , even though they don't mean that much and I know there are others who have much more than I have.

And next blog will most likely feature a pic of a female character from Death Note (you can probably guess who that will be. )

In other TV.com news: Well like I said I'm taking a break from subbing now, but still made 18 subs today. Not that much, and not enough to get a nice increase at my level, but it's still something.

Also (I forgot to mention this last blog) I made a Christmas banner for my profile; I'll upload it closer to Christmas of course, so it'll a surprise. Although some of you have already seen it.

In other news: Seven episodes of Death Note left to watch, and six of Claymore. I should finish both of them this weekend, if everything goes well.
