19Oct 06I LOVE THE OFFICE!!!
I was seriously considering moving it down to my 3rd favorite show from my 2nd favorite show, but then Jim and Pam TALKED TO EACH OTHER. And for the love of God, it was about friggin' time!!!! It only took five eppys.
That Karen girl is really pissing me off.
But the JAM LOVE is making me very happy!!!!!!!
I can't wait to read the fics based on it this week. If only I could actually finish an "Office" fic. I don't know what it is with that show. Well, the only show I've actually finished a fic for is "Strange Days" and that was just a couple of one-shots.
Off topic.
Must get back to Jam.

1Oct 06So, I used to be this huge Degrassi fan. Like, not even kidding. I could tell you the realationship between any two characters without even thinking twice.
Then, I stopped watching. The last episode I watched on the night it aired was the one where Rick brought the gun to school. I guess I just lost interest after that. I'm not sure why.
My sister, Bailey, however, remained addicted to DTNG and when she told me about what was going on, I would nearly die of shock. Emma with an STD? Liberty with a Baby? Paige with a girl? And who the heck is Peter? I tried to watch a few eppys with her, but I just couldn't get into it at all. My sister was yelling at me for asking so many questions, but I was just confused.
Anyway, on Friday, I was bored and decided to watch the second half of the premiere (I was watching the new "Hannah Montana" for the first half) and now I'm sure I made the right choice to stop watching. I got so angry with this eppy. (Although the whole "Amberly and Eleanor" thing made my life)
After it was over, I told my sister "This is why I stopped watching this show." It's too soap opera for me now.
Okay. That's my rant for today. Will be ranting more if on Thursday, there's another eppy of "The Office" in which Pam and Jim don't even speak to each other. (Does that bug anybody else? Did they think we weren't going to notice? This is getting dangerously close to shark jumping)

18Sep 06I will probably write all of this again in a Men in Trees review, but I love ranting... and lists. So this entry will be a ranting list. Fun, no?
Similarities between what is probably my favorite TV show of all time (Northern Exposure) and Men in Trees
1) NEx: Outsider Joel Fleischman is from the Big Apple
MiT: Outsider Marin Frist also hails from the city that never sleeps
2) NEx: One bar: The Brick
MiT: One bar: The Cheiftan
3) NEx: One way out: bush pilot Maggie O'Connel

4) NEx: Setting: Small Town Cicely, Alaska

So, I'm now back from writing camp, which is kind of a bittersweet thing. I'm glad to be home, but on the last night of camp, this guy Thomas told me he likes me. It was really sweet, but he lives in Little Rock and I live in Atlanta, which is really sad. I'll probably never see him again, which sucks because he's the first guy who's ever liked me.

18Jun 06I just have to say that RENT is amazingly awesome. I'm watching the movie for the 17th time right now (my 5th time w/ commentary). I saw the show a couple of weeks ago for my birthday with my friend, Rachel, who is a major RENThead (like me) she lent me both the movie and OBC soundtracks. Okay, I'm totally procrastionating right now. I have to write a 6-10 page short story for the writing camp I'm at right now. Which is the same reason I'm watching RENT right now. Procrastionation rules.

28Sep 05Okay, Yesterday I said that I would describe why I love each show on my list in turn, and in celebration of me finally getting around to loading the "That 70s Show" theme on my iPod (I LOVE Cheap Trick, I saw them in concert with Alice Cooper). Anyway, I just started watching it last week and I'm already OCD. (Just don't tell my dad- he won't even let me borrow the DVDs from my little sister's best friend's mom's sister, because he thinks it's inappropriate) Anyway I think it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I love Donna/Eric, but I'm still completely oblivious to anything past the first season and a half (and i haven't even seen all of those eppys yet), because I've just been watching it on FX for the past week or so. I love Fez. He is so funny.
I'm thinking of putting up a message board asking for good ideas to get my dad to let me borrow those DVDs.
