For some reason I always find myself liking the first half of movies more than the second half. Which means that when I decide I like a movie and I want to watch it again, I watch the first half, then I get distracted and turn it off. I think I jsut like the build up of everything.

I haven't really been around here much for the last few weeks. Just enough to check my queue and that's pretty much all. I think my interest in websites is just on a rotating schedule and I'm not really sure which one's going to come back into my train of interest.

I've been big on Neopets for the last week-ish, which I'm enjoying, becuase I used to LOVE that so much, and I've been using it for years, and I kinda wished I could get mroe into it again, so I'm making the most of that now.

Oh, and livejournal is big on my list at the moment. Good stuff.

I think that is the end

Oh, I wish I was mroe into the whole blog thing, or keeping a journal and stuff. I was gonna write in my journal today about how I got all the scars I have and when I got them.

I've decided I'm sick of being on level 30-something, so I'm trying to get into the 40s ... and 50s ... I think I'd kinda like one of those top 100 users emblems, so that could be my tv.com goal for the moment. Just gotta keep working on it.

I really don't like the word 'celebrate' I just feel that it's really miss-used or something.

So my new obsession is the musical, Wicked, which had pretty much taken over my life for the moment.

I always have random obsessions like that, but I haven't had one this big for a while, so I'm making the most of it

Oh, and I'm obssesed with saving money to go overseas, which is a new one for me.

I haven't been on much lately. I'm not sure why.

Not too much interesting going on in my life. just lots of time on the net, and at work, and going home for a few days. All very low-stream.

So usually I decide I'm going to watch award shows, but then I get bored about half-an-hour into it because of all te performances and other stuff they kept putting in.

So I decided that I'd try to watch the Golden Globes, because the winners have already been announced here and I wanted to see America Ferrera, but I wasn;'t expecting to still be watching up to that point, but to my surprise it's jsut everyone getting their awards, and none of that other stuff

I really want a Super Nintendo, but I can't find any on ebay that already have a couple good games with them as well, so if there's anyone here in Australia that wants to donate me their super nintendo and a copy of Donkey Kong, come offer

The other night I had a dream that I came on here and I had two new icons, the 50 blog one and the community spotlight. That was a bit exciting. I don't want to ahve te community spotlight here for a while yet. Maybe in six months time would be good, if anyone out there's listening

You know how you haven't seen a TV show or movie for a long time, and you remember it being really good, but then you is isn't as good as you remembered? Well, isn't it great when the thing turns out to be better than that you remembered

So one of the guys at my work decided to quit becuase he felt like he was doing all of the work while the other people he was working with did nothing, and he told my boss who's on holiday, and my boss said "Lisa will take care of it", so now I've decided thtat if that's how he wants to run the place I will take care of everything, so today I fired some chick who keeps skipping her shifts taht my manager wouldn't fire and I've set up interview with a couple of new people, even though I have no idea how to interview someone ... I'm not good with people

    Like the italics?

And that's the 50th useless rant I've bought upon you everyone

I say lots of wierd things, and have lots of strange doubts in my life. Ones that I've bought up in te alst few days are:

    - Don't trust anyone but yourself, because sometimes you can't even trust yourself to do things, so theres no way you're going to be able to trust someone else with it.

    - I don't beleive in dinosaurs, dating and prehaps Beyonce. I know in reality they're real but in my hemisphere I have my doubts.

    - Food only stops being interesting when you eat fast food all the time and you're only used to eating grease, which is just yuck.

When I say my theories people jsut think I'm strange, but I can't help what I beleive, hey

Level 35 - 77% (but only because the update didn't work properly) - one blog away from 50!

As a kid one of my favourite books was Window by Jeannie Baker. It started off as a mother and her baby looking out of the window of their home into a forest, each page was two years on from the pevious picture and it showed how the forest turned into a big industrial town over 20 years.

A few weeks ago I was in a bookshow and I found out that she'd done antoehr book like that -- but this time it started off looking out at the town, and showed how gradually they changed it into a community with parks nad ponds and things like that.

    It was pretty cool.

Level 35, 76% - I think it's high time Lisa was looking at some level 36

At the moment there are no foods that interest me. They all seem so done-to-death, so I think someone needs to invent me something new to eat.

The only good thing I have at the moment is tap water with lime juice aded to it, because Adelaide water tastes like yuck. I wish I had a rain water tank.

It's going to be really hot here for tnext couple days, and I always feel sorry for Perry when she's home alone in the hot house, so I have to leave the fan on for her all the time, but I'm not sure if she really understands what it does.

She's walking around now panting like a dog ... She doesn't like it when I laugh at her

Here are the DVDs that I want at the moment:

    - Mr. Bean

    - The Lion King

    - Aladdin

    - That 70s Show (All of them)

    - How I Met Your Mother (Series 1)

    - Dharma & Greg (Series 1)

    - It Takes Two

    - Full House (Series 4 & 5)

There are probably more, but I think that's a long enough lsit for now

I'm trying to get broadband internet set up, and the internet company said that it should work, but now they think that I ahve to get some wierd thing changed in my phone line :S I think the whole thing sounds fishy, but hey, in reality what do I know

So my friend bought home some speakers the otehr day for the computer, and all I thought was "those are so huge. I ahve no room for them in my house"

    until.....

I realsied that they plug into the computer with headphone jacks, not a USB, so I can plug in into my iPod and maky it really really LOUD!!!

You know what my resolution is for next year? To just have fun. I've had an incredible year this year becuase I've been alone for most of it and I've realsied that I'm not-so-much a people-person, and I've been happy bbeing friends with myself. So I jsut want to keep having fun and being happy.

I didn't get close to the Level 40 I originally hoped for, but technically I chould make it to Level 35, because I should get to it by the eld of the tv.com year, even thought I don't quiet make it in Lisa's year

Okay, I tried to pretend that I didn't really want to watch it, that I wasn't excited when I started getting to episodes that Becky was in, that I wasn't sucked in by baby-Michelle, or any of the cheesy scenes at the end of the episodes, but I'm not going to deny it anymore.

I really do love the show.

It's starting to get stormy outside and I can hear thunder, and outside it just looks amazingly red.

When I see stuff like that, I jsut want to be able to put it in my memory and never forget it, because it's just so thing-you'll-never-see-again.

And I'm undecided on whether I like it or not yet. I think I was expecting it to be a bit more like tv.com, but I'm sure there's lots more they're going to do with it, so my impressions are probably going to change later.

Why does every TV show have to ahve some mysterious back-story nowadays. People with limited concentration spans like me have trouble with that sort of stuff

So I watched Ugly Betty for the first time this afternoon, and call me dumb, but I thought it was going to be a 30 minute sitcom, not an hour show, so it wasn't really waht I was expecting, but I still thought it was pretty good, so it's alright, hey.

I'm heaps excited because this weekend my mum, dad brother and sister are coming up for pre-christmas with our family, because both my prents are working on xmas day.

And me and my sisiter, Tracy are going to watch Rent together, becuase we both love the movie, but we've never watched it together, so that'll be heaps of fun.

About an hour ago I was hit with the thought "Wow, it's almost Christmas", because I turned on the TV and the carols were on and they were singing "We Three Kings of Orient Are" (my favourite xmas song). So then I was playing my Christmas CDs, but the cat went skitzo and knocked the Christmas tree over, so that was the end of that bit of fun

I just spend waaaay too much money on ebay :S

Tomorrow I'm going back to see my family for three days, which I'm really looking forward to. I've been very lazy though tonight because I haven't really packed anything, but I ahve written a list of what I need to bring, so I guess that's a start.

I like lists. I wish I just wrote down every tiny little thing I did on a lsit so I could cross it off as I go.

One of the girls at my work didn't turn up for her shift today and her flatmate has no idea where she is. I'm starting to get a bit worried about her.

Level 32, 26% ... We all know I'm not going to get 40, but I'm thinking that if I keep thinking that I have to do stuff it might get to 35 at least.

So I checked my email address today that I use for ebay, and one person told me that the book that she's lsot the book that I bought off her, and she's been looking for it for two days. A second seller had accidently sent my book to the wrong person.

    *le sigh*

Oh, Perry, why do you keep meowing at me? I love you, but it would be so great if you could just talk to me. I don't think cat try hard enough, do you?
