A young man by the name of Eiyuu Yuko (英雄　遊子） has asperations of being a Guardian Hero. Orphaned and with the world around him falling into the hands of Terrorists called "Angel Killers" his dreams all but seem to die. But one day he finds an ancient Guardian Heroes tome and is able to summon the Guardian slumbering within. With his faith in becoming a Guardian Hero reignited Yuko begins his journey to clean the world of those who use Guardians for evil.

Joining a Counter-Terrorist group known as "Detectives", Yuko single handedly proves his worth by stopping an Angel Killer controlled train from derailing into a busy highway. With his name now known amongst the city as a true Guardian Hero, another like him with dark incentives turns his eyes to Eiyuu Yuko.

Enter Akunin Yuko ( 悪人　遊子）a boy who has been failed by heroes his whole life. He witnessed his parents lives lost at the cost of a heroes failed attempt to save them. Akunin Yuko now has a passion to test heroes, checking if they are indeed worthy of the title "Guardian Hero" or if they'll simply fail. He quickly climbs the ranks of the Angel Killers, plotting acts of Terrorism around the world. His actions have cost the loves of hundreds, but his newest plans have a higher number at stake.

What happens when Akunin Yuko, the boy who wishes to see heroes fail, and Eiyuu Yuko, the boy who wishes to be a true Guardian Hero, meet?
