    Countdown to Nov. 19! WOOT!

I cannot wait for the Wii! The more gameplay footage I watch, the more I want this thing! And one of my friends is getting one too, but unfortunately he lives out of state, but we will definitely rock with the Wii online games! And oh man, the Virtual Console is going to bankrupt me! Retro gaming FTW! I'm totally stoked and just had to post!

So, I decided I'm getting the Wii

I'm eagerly anticipating Nintendo's news as of this writing. They are broadcasting from New York for a press announcement regarding launch details of the Wii.

The New York Times reported the Wii as launching on Nov. 19 for $250. This seems to be in line with what we've heard so far from Nintendo, but perhaps they have something even more exciting to announce?

I decided to go with the Wii for several reasons. First, being that I've always been a sucker for Nintendo's first party titles. Second, I'm up for something different and unique in a gaming experience, and it looks like the Wii-mote is innovative and clever. Third, I already own an Xbox 360, and most games are multiplatform between the PS3 and 360, so there's not much incentive for me to further invest into a PS3. I've never really been a Metal Gear Solid fan, so that is really not an issue. Although I did enjoy Devil May Cry, and Next-Gen Final Fantasy would be nice. But, I'll have to learn to make due. You can only spend so much on gaming.

I'm also excited about the Virtual Console feature of the Wii. Yes, I know, you can download emulators and ROM's for the PC. But frankly, I'm excited about the prospect of playing these on a console as they have always been meant to be played. That, and I like giving my money to companies who deserve it. Even though these games are ancient, they are still fun, and I don't mind a minimal fee to own them since I don't have the original consoles and games anymore.

So here's hoping that Nintendo has much success with the Wii. I know that I for one am excited about it!

    Huxley - Simply amazing!

I've been hearing people toss the name "Huxley" around a lot over time, and I just never bothered to check it out. However, that all changed today. I just looked at the game and the videos and all I can say is WOW!! This could seriously be a contender for my all time favorite game!

What is Huxley you ask? Well, quite simply it is a massively multiplayer First Person Shooter game. From what I gather, Humans are at war with grisly Mutants, so you choose what type of race you want to be.

Ever since Planetside, I've been waiting for a good MMO FPS game, and this one blows Planetside off the map.

It will have a monthly fee, but I don't think it has been stated yet, but HOPEFULLY it ISN'T the standard $15 that every other MMO forces you to pay.

But, I will say this, if the game is done right, I'd gladly pay to play it if that's my only choice.

Huxley will be available for both Xbox 360 and the PC. I'm not sure if my PC will handle it, as no specs on the system reqs are available from what I could gather. But I do own a 360 so either way I'll be playing this game.

If an MMO FPS sounds good to you, you owe to yourself to go check it out here on Gamespot!
