Aww... Disappointments...
Lately, I find myself turning on my computer only to be greeted by just one more disappointing review for a promising game. Alone in the Dark, BIA, Mercenaries 2, Too Human, Battle March, Viking, (even Star Wars: Force Unleashed - to a certain extent) these are all just the tip of the iceburg, and it just keeps growing bigger! Like a whole new ice age advancing into the gaming world, this iceburg just gets larger and larger as each bad game is added to it's peak. I find that the only games I can really trust anymore are sequels of excellent originals - The CoD series, for example. CoD: World at War isn't the only promising game though; there's Farcry 2, Fable 2, Resident Evil 5, and Gears of War 2, all with a special place in my heart. Going out on a limb, I'm keeping my eyes open for some possible gems, such as Prototype or possibly Borderlands, Dungeon Hero, and Dead Island.
Sometimes I just want to grab some of the dudes who made recent flops and shake 'em. Hard. If you have an A grade game already, an amazing story lined up, and you've been given all the blessings of modern day technology, how can you mess it up? It's simple things dudes; Get the glitches out of the game before release, get the graphics up to date, give the game some customer support, and BAM! Any problems you may have had have been averted and suddenly your sequel is still A grade. I don't mind if you're not original! Copy everything from the first game if you have to! Just a couple things, that's all I ask as a consumer! PLEASE!?!? Hell, that goes for movie-licence games too! If you can't make a good game based on a good movie in the time period given to you, extend the time period! Seriously! I really wouldn't mind that much to have a seriously mind-blowing rendition of Hulk for gamers. It's not a difficult formula. Hulk smash, Hulk crash, and Hulk blow things up. Add in some ragdoll effects and you've got a winner. But no. It doesn't happen. And to top it all off, a 60$ price tag get's slapped on as if an insult to gamers everywhere. WHAT?!? Do you ACTUALLY want me to pay extra for the glitches?

Money don't fail me now...please?
Ok. I've been waiting for Alone in the Dark to come out for awhile, because we 360 owners need a good horror survival game. Well... I havn't seen the Gamespot review out for it yet, but elsewhere it's been doing poorly (but what do they know? The only review that truly counts comes from Gamespot). Anyways, I don't have high hopes for it.
So I'm on a very tight budget - like 200$ and I don't want to spend any of it on a sub-standard game when beautiful titles like CoD 5 and Fable 2 are coming out. Right now I'm paying attention to a bunch of these precious games... And I want them all damnit! Why can't I curb this videogame addictiong? But I don't want to... Because it feels sooo nice... Like after you sneeze and feels good, but while you do it you feel terrible. Uh wait... that's a really bad analogy. Nevermind.
At the moment the list stands at:
-Star Wars: Force Unleashed
-Fable 2
-CoD 5
-Prototype
-Red Alert 3
-Borderlands (maybe)
-Left4Dead
-Dead Island
-Resident Evil 5
So somehow I don't think I can afford all of these beautiful titles. My plan is to plant a money tree. Or maybe I think I'll just figure out where Osama Bin Laden is and then apply some squeeze to him. No... On second thought, that's too dangerous. I don't think I want to get involved with fanatics. The fact that they wouldn't mind taking down themselves and me at the same time kind of puts a damper in my whole extortion/hostage scheme. I will come back later with more ideas on a money making project.

I guess I may as well.
For a long time I've had a problem - a particular problem that really bothers me. I'm always ranting and raving or musing on some strange topic, and many of these strange inner conversations with myself (I never dare utter my blasphemies out loud, can you imagine the stares I'd get? No? Well I can...) result in nothing other then what can be labelled brilliance, and I have absoluteley no way to pass my brilliance on in the world. But wait! Too long forgotten, The Internet! Notice how I capilitize the T in The? Makes the Internet sound cooler. Like superman. No... not quite... more like... uh... well, would the internet be quite as impressive as The Internet!(?) With an exclamation point? I didn't think so. Anyways, The Internet! offers the perfect way to share myself with the world, and present all of those who ever bother to even read this (maybe one or two - I got my fingers crossed for 3), so that they may be blessed with the knowledge of a god! Ok. Not a god, more of an indestructable behomith with such mind-blowing powers which would make you simple mortals quiver and shake until you collapsed into a heap of Jello (green, of course) as I advanced towards you with a rather large and scary looking spoon.
I'm sleepy. Goodnight!
