  The death of Sack Boy !!!! Again!!!! Oh and .....

  ...... Merry Christmas!!!

  With Christmas only 2 days away, Sack Boy has once again met a horrible and untimely death!!!

  Those of you who have followed my blogs for awhile know that earlier this year, my dog, got ahold of the Little Big Planet game case, chewed it up and destroyed the disc. The good people at Play N Trade gave me their store copy so I didn't have to buy it again. Alas, the dog obviously doesn't like Sack Boy and once again has done the evil deed!!! I will not get it replaced this time.

  With Christmas soon upon us some of you are probably looking around the house for your gifts and peeking to see what you are getting. Remember, Santa sees everything you do!!! Also, one year when I did that it was hard for me to have a surprised look when I opened the presents. I just got in trouble last night because I found the cookie hiding place and ate a few. I was not aware that my wife has been counting the cookies!!! She makes the best homemade cookies,

  all German recipes and they will knock your freakin socks off!!! The cookies have now been relocated to a new hiding place and inventory has been taken!!

  There is nothing quite like ( in my book anyway) being in Germany during the Christmas season. It is so awesome!!! I always loved going to Nurnburg at Christmas time to the Chriskindlmarkt

  and of course, Gluhwein to keep you warm!!!

  

  I once drank so much I could have sworn I saw flying pigs!!!

  Man, I really miss Germany this time of the year!!

  Don't forget to put out cookies and milk for Santa. That is all. Oh, and in case I am not back to blog on Christmas Day, well then.... Merry Christmas!!!

  And the winner is......

  Well, in my last blog I gave my list of personal favorites for my Game of the Year. There really have been some great games that have come out this year. Some I have yet to play. Like Uncharted 2(think my daughter got that for me for Christmas), Assassins Creed II, Borderlands, Dragon's Age:Origins, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Beatles:Rock Band and a few others. But from my list , while I love all the games on the list, in the end it was really no contest. My choice for Game of the Year is.......

  

  What Nintendo has done here is taken, in my opinion, two of the all-time best Mario games, Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros 3, and smoothly blended them into one awesome gaming experience!!

  From the spot on tight controls, to the awesome new power-ups, Penguin and Propeller suits, this game brings back the good ol Mario days!!! I could do a review but why bother. I will send you to my good friend, Pierst179 , for that. He has done an excellent review on this game. Heck, he is my go to guy when it comes to all things Nintendo!! He shoots straight from the hip when it comes to honest non-bias game reviews. The guy is fast approaching awesome status of mythical proportions!!!

  Anyway. If you own a Wii and have yet to buy this game, do so right away. You won't be sorry!!

  Now I just need to find the time to watch them!!!

  After playing the demo numerous times, I have decided to preorder:

  

  Lots of cool moves, great battles, awesome attacks and I love the atmosphere. I initially thought I would pass on this game but after seeing one of her attack moves in the demo, well good friends, I was hooked!! And what move is that you ask? She pole dances!!! The only thing I find a little disturbing about the game is that she looks a little bit like former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin!!!! Kinda of creepy if you ask me.

  And that is all.

  On my radar!!!

  

  Well, after having just posted in my last blog that I am about to OD on games, that I have not enough time to play all the new games I have recently purchased, two games are now on my radar for a possible early purchase in January 2010.

  

  Looks interesting.Similar to Devil May Cry, at least that is want I am hearing. I hated the Devil May Cry series!!! Insanely hard ( for me) and frustrating!!! But Bayonetta looks wild and crazy enough that my interest in the game is rising. I just downloaded the demo for Bayonetta( haven't played it yet) but based upon the demo( difficulty) Bayonetta might or might not be an early 2010 purchase.

  

  I am really interested in this one. The design reminds me of a comic book I use to read years ago called The Rocketeer.

  

  Hey come on!!! You get to fly around in a jet pack. That is almost as good as having a Bionic Arm in my book!!! I might preorder this next week.

  On Thursday, Dec. 10th, I downloaded Pixel Junk Shooter and it is .... say it with me.... AWESOME!! Just some great old school gameplay. Tons o' fun!!! There is also a free download for the inFamous gigawatt blades so I DLed that also!!

  The following is my personal list for Game of the Year nominees. These are games that were released this year and that I own and have played. I realize some of the great games out there are not on this list, but I currently do not own them or have not played them. I am sure my Rock Band Beatles would make the list but I have to wait until Christmas to open it!!!

  4.) Punch Out Wii
