  E3 2010 - MGS Rising Preview thoughts

  Being a life long dedicated fan of the Metal Gear Series, it is with great honour and aptitude that I declare the new Metal Gear Solid Rising Trailer to be far beyond my initial expectations; perhaps everyone else in fact. What will you cut? Let us look at this imperative and up front question. Such a simple and straight forward question, yet the answers that are available to conjure are countless.

  I believe the initial meaning to this question is essentially saying that the new Metal Gear Solid will allow you to pave the events through the use of the main protagonist 'Raiden'. It is just more than cutting your enemy into countless numbers of parts, although I can't deny that this form of eliminating enemies will be rather stimulating and entertaining. Never has such an attack mechanism placed so much emphasis into killing an opponent. From complete Stealth in the previous Metal Gear games to intense brutal killing shows how Metal Gear Solid will without a doubt carve it's name not only in being one of the best stealth games ever produced, but soon enough the best action game ever produced.

  Hideo Kojima sure placed a huge emphasis into the Stealth aspect and undeniably revolutionised a genre of gaming, but now he has allowed a new generation to direct what he has successfully brought to life. Metal Gear Solid Rising will not let down the eager anticipation of the hundreds of thousands of fans it has accumulated over the years, but let us not forget that Hideo Kojima is basically telling us that the Metal Gear Solid series has only just begun.

  What will you cut? I'll leave that up to you to decide.
