My ps3 got the inevitable YLOD today. My ps3 was a 2007 80gig MotorStorm bundle model (4 usb ports)

I was playing The Skyrim DLC Dragonborn and the game started to lag and freeze just seconds at a time, I thought it was just going to freeze and I would just have to restart it, then the ps3 shut off and I saw the blinking red light. I restarted the system and the light went green, yellow and then blinking red again. I tried several times to get the disk out and it wouldn't come out.

I tried the fix it your self methond from a video on youtube and I got it to turn on and got my disk out but I am skeptical of how long it will last so I am going to buy a new ps3 and transfer my data from the old one to the new while its still working.

RIP my PS3 Aug 2007 - Feb 2013 five and a half years, the old girl had a good run but just couldnt hold out untill next gen.
