Okay for music I can probably honestly say that so far I feel 2009 could end up being one of the best years this decade for music, not movies. Theres just so much new stuff. What do you guys think?

I just watched three movies I've never seen before. They were The Wrestler, Little Miss Sunshine and Elephant. I'll start with Elephant, a friend told me that this was a great movie and used it to back himself up when I said Van Sant was a terrible director/writter and he claimed he was good. He told me the film was about a high school shoot-out and for some reason my interest was caught and I was forced to watching the film that night. Terrible movie Gus Van Sant you suck, although Good Will Hunting was OK and I have not yet watched Milk which could end up being good. Honestly though, this movie was so pointless, pretty much everything they show us in the first 1:15 minutes POINTLESS we don't need to know, nothing to do with the story. Terrible ending. And worst of all I found they set it up to make it look like video games were responsible, maybe they can influence some of the things we do but just can't see it happening, and I dont like them pointing fingers.
Darren Affronsky you are the man, first off you direct the drug cinema masterpiece Requiem For A Dream and the rest of your films were great to but nothing tops the Wrestler. I saw this movie friday with my mom and its still with me, whenever I hear The Wrestler by Springsteen all I can do is think about this movie and how much it would suck to just lose everything like he did. Rourke your one hell of an actor.
And for Little Miss Sunshine wow that was a surprise. I wasn't expecting to be attacted to the film the way I was, great film. Just go watch it.
Anyone hear the new Black Lips album yet? What about Handsome Furs? What were your thoughts.

Your Coming Home Soon" Amazing '60s pop song here, I wonder if any of you can guess it.
Wow. It has been it a bit since I last blogged, I actually has lots of time to blog just never felt like doing one up, and had nothing too interesting to bring up. KISS is comming to Halifax and this caused the school to go nuts and get all excited, I don't even like KISS. I find them to be overrated/same sound/gay kinda thing but because all my friends are going I have decided to go along. (I'm terrible with Peer Pressure) And HP if your reading this bro, sorry I don't mean to be dissing one of your favorites.
Anyone ever see or even hear of the movie Snow Angels? I always wanted to see it a bit, so a while back I rented it. It was defiantly depressing, but I still loved it and went out and bought it. It's kinda crazy movie all it does is open up with crazy teen killing another teen, then for the next 90 minutes its just showing you show crazy the killer was, and how much of a nice, good, great life kid was. The movie taught me that even if your the nicest/best person around. God won't always help you out. Then about a week ago I was talking about the film with a friend and he brought up how it was filmed half an hour away. I didn't beliveve him but he was right. It's cool though because David Gordan Green (Pineapple Express) directed it.
Now onto some music. HANDSOME FURS are defiantly rocking out '09 for me so far with their new album "Face Control". Not sure if it's as good as '07's Plague Park which was also genius. All I can say is if your a fan of Wolf Parade go for this album. Its sooo worth it. Might be better then At Mount Zoomer, excluding Kissing The Beehive of course ;P
Not excited for end of Prison Break one bit, altough I only watched 1 episode this season XD. I'm just gonna wait for the DVD then watch it all at once. I actually like it better this way, only problem is I usually avoid life while watching the show. Like when I first borrowed Season 1 from a friend, I didn't wanna do anything else but watch it, till it was over. Just if you havn't watched the show yet do yourself a favor and watch it.
South Parks comming back soon excited guys

I finally listend to my first Godspeed You Black Emperor album it was F#A# Infinity and well.....you guys really outta clean out your ears. Stupid, weird, boring, noise, garbage, cannot successfully make a 20 minute track. It was a 3 tracked album and was over an hour long. Just awful , just awful. Please try and get all the stuff stuck in your ears out. Thank You.
I watched Slumdog Millionaire the other night and it was fantastic, I think TDK would still be my number one though. (for '08 that is) Any fans of this film defiantly owe it to thereselves to go and watch "City Of God" it's not in English but has subtitles but it's so good I don't even care.
WOW, Christmas is coming up really soon, I really doesn't feel like a year since last Christmas.
Alright thats all I got for yas, see ya's later.

Alright anybody see it yet? I just saw Zak and Miri Make A Porno last night. It was by far the funniest movie I've seen in a while, my favorite movies of the year (yes I liked it better then The Dark Knight) constant laughter, it felt like an Apatow film because of Rogen being in it and all but it was actually good and very well written. One last thing if you found any other Kevin Smith films offensive/too bad in content DEFIANTLEY stay away from this one here. JUST GO SEE IT!!!!!!!!PS: I may be over-rating it a bit but this could possibly be Smiths best film IMO.
Anybody get around to listening to "Skeletal Lamping" yet?? Hooly sh!t I can't belive thats Barnes, I was always a slight Of Montreal fan but this album changed that complety, most people say I'm crazy when I say this but I feel this album surpassed Hissing Hauna. I want more of him rapping considering he did amazing in track 7.
I think I might be back on my log in once a day sceduale soon, so sorry for not being around to post comments on your blogs, I can't believe how dead the South Park forum has become, I remember when there would be new posts around every half hour

thats itf for now, Jacob.

169. The Black Saint and SInner lady- Charles Mingus
Best Jazz album ever, but I'm not too big on jazz, so thats why its WAYY up here.
168. Billion Dollar Babies- Alice Cooper
His best album, my favorite track would be Generation Landslide.
167. Kill The Moonlight- Spoon
Its still good but not as good as their later albums, best song has got to be The Way We Get by.
166. Facelift- Alice In Chains
I'm not much of a metal fan but this is as good as it gets.
165. Crash- Dave Matthews Band
Good album here, I always get this guy confused with Matt Good. Not his music, his name.
164. Remain In Light- Tallking Heads
This is supposed to be their best but I find it weaker then some other ones I have, don't get me wrong though; it's still a great album.
163. Ringer- Four Tet
Anyone ever hear of these guys?
162. Songs For The Deaf- Queens Of The Stone Age
Their best work, best song on the album for me is No One Knows.
161. Chemical City- Sam Roberts
SR is amazing, every CD he ever released turns out good.
S/T- Led Zeppelin
There thats it for today. And yesterday a friend showed me a fun thing to do when working drive through @ a fast food restaurant, when they drive up and pay with debit, when you slipe their card, read their name. And then just call them by their name, they never know whats going on and are always trying to figure out if they know you

I was wayy to tired to type this up last night.
179. 13- Blur
I've only heard two Blur albums this and parklife, for some Parklife wouldn't grow on me but this one here I always seem to enjoy a bit.
178. Face The Music- Electric Light Orchestra
Most of my friends laugh at me about liking this album. This is my favorite from them, I really like the song Evil Women.
177. Surfer Rosa- The Pixies
WHOA, I remeber when this was in my top ten, then I was told about other albums by them and since then I just can't like it as much. Where IS My Mind is still a killer song.
176. Dog Man Star- Suede
I just got around to listening to this last week, great album.
175. Inches- Les Savy Fav
Good album right here, I'm pretty everyone would enjoy "The Sweat Descends" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNNxx6HzURY
174. Crocodiles- Echo and The Bunnymen
Ever since I first heard The Killing Moon on Donnie Darko I've been getting into these more. This album would be my third favorite from them.
173. (What's The Story) Morning Glory- Oaais
Not too many people like them but I liked this album quite a bit, too bad it goes downhill from here and this was only their second album.
172. Kick Out The Jams- MC5
Pure Classic Punk. Just awesome.
171. Feels- Animal Collective
Great album done here, I love their style music, how you can't describe it

I'm gonna try to do one of these every night, so if I do ten a night....I'll be done in 20 days

189. The Stranger- Billy Joel
The one album this man has done that I like, Ryan I don't know what you see in him?
188. S/T- Franz Ferdinand
FF was my fav a while back before I joined this site, over the years I lost a bit of interest in the band. This here is still great though. Cannot wait for their new album.
187. Liscend To Ill- Beastie Boys
Great album done here guys, I think everybody has some love for the beastie boys in them?
186. Challengers- New Pornographers
Weird name eh? Does anybody know of them, I don't think I ever heard anyone mention them before. If not, check out this album (Their Newest) I find it the best.
185. VS- Pearl Jam
My second favorite from this band, I'm not huge on them but you gotta admit they do have some very great songs.
184.Blood, Sugar, Sex Magik- Red Hot Chili Peppers
Weird, I use to enjoy almost all their albums, now I don't even care for the whole album here. But this album has quite a few great tracks. Weird how there GH album didn't have more from this album. And the cover looks amazing so BONUS POINTS

183. Picaresque- The Decembrists
Im not a huge fan of this band and this is the only album I heard by them, it was good though and DOES deserve a spot.
182. Agaetis Byrjum- Sigur Ros
I know I probably spelled it wrong.Anyways; what a CD if only I could unsterstand it.
181. Low- David Bowie
A pretty decent Bowie album, not my favorite but still needs to be here,
180. Chutes Too Narrow- The Shins
This band is amazing, everything they ever did was great. Their was a bit off but was still good.
That's it. Hopefully I will get another up tommorow night.

I remember Lock did one of these a bit back and I always wanted to do one but never got around to it. So over the next few blogs I'm gonna be doing this, so some won't be interested in these, anyways let's get this started..
200. Back In Black-AC/DC:
Some will call me insane but for soe reason I've always found this band very overrated, I hate how when the majority of the world thinks classic rock they think ACDC. This is by far their best work and I could actually get into this album quite well.
199. Obscured By Clouds- Pink Floyd
This is one of those PF albums that not many have heard but is a great work, I highly suggest it to any Floyd fan.
198. S/T -Modern Lovers
I gave this list more thought this album would be down a bit more anyways this is one of the bands that becane PUNK, what a sick album. Beats anything Sex Pistols could have done.
197. Superunknown- Soundgarden
Everybody just loves SG but for some reason they weren't for me, I did really get a bit from this album here though, if you really dig 90's grunge, this is a must have.
196. Mezzanine- Massive Attack:
I remember when I first heard teardrop in some skate video, I looked for a while trying to find this song on the internet, then moved on to get an album and it was actually good if you like this kind of music.
195. Nowhere-Ride:
Decent album here, nothing too special though.
194. Parachutes-Coldplay
Everybody hates Coldplay! Personally I love them, great debut here they have changed quite a bit from this though,
193. Love Bites-Buzzcocks
Another great punk classic, this is the onlyBC album I really enjoyed though...
192. Mellow Gold- Beck
Whats the big deal about Odelay? The real fun is on this album here, I didn'tthink I liked Beck much but this album was quite nice.
191. Ten- cLOUDDEAD
It's so weird........but I love it. listen to The Velvet Ant or Pop Song sometime.
190. 69 Love Songs- The Magnetic Fields
I got the whole set used for 9.99, what a sweeeeeet bargain. Though not all the tracks are good it does have a bunch that hit the spot.
There done for tonight, I'm gonna try and get through this quite fast though, so my little rant's are going to be sloppily done.

...Everyday" Second time writting this blog, just thought I'd let you know.
Man, do I ever love long weekends, first off I had two huge thanksgiving dinners, one with a bunch of family I never even met before but some I knew were there,it was pretty sweet. Mom was a bit angry though because I made myself look like a pig by having a eating competition (and winning) with one of my bigger relatives. Honestley though, it's not my fault there were soo many options of good food
Then I got to train a friend of mine how to close down Mickey D's, cos I'm a crew trainer and all. It was sweet we had one of the younger managers (16) close and she decided to let some of the funner employee's stay and ""Help""us with our close. With 4 people working we got out at 12. Thats really bad because when its just me I'm always out half an hour after close (10:30) this was because....actually before I say why let me state that this was a manager who just doesn't care what you doand told me she would never write me up for anything unless I tried robbing the store. OK anyways my friend thought it would be funny to make a huge snowball out of soft serve ice cream and just whip right my face, hurt SOOOO bad, after a few moments it was a big snow ball fight, even the manager was doing it
Eventually a friend took it too far and started throwing ketchup, ranch dressing, and hot fudge so we gave up. I wish I still had the pics so I could show you,but she said to delete them and don't tell anyone because we/and her could get fired in seconds for that. I don't think you guy's count though
If you need/want a job,go to McDonald's doesn't even fell like work. How many places can you smear 10 ounces of ice cream in your managers hair and have her just laugh and try and get you back?Anyways enough about that, anybody get around to listening to Skeletal Lamping or Dear Science yet? I loved them both I'll talk more of them in another blog. And about a week ago I watched "Bridge To Teribithia" WOW not what I was expecting....but it was still great I suggest going and renting it,don't let the high in fantasy case or the disney logo fool you.
I Gotta go, Heroes is starting...

I took a chance the other day and bought Chuck Season 1 without seeing any of it and not even knowing the storyline
I bought because lots of people here and @ school tell me it's a great show and I should watch. I got the last episode on it to finish after school and then I can watch Season 2 tonight
Anybody else watch this show? It just became one of my favorites.
