  Almost Back!

  My computer is fixed, but not to my satisfaction. When it was recovered, the computer was slower than networks using comcast. Even FFIV, made nearly 20 years ago, can barely run at 40 FPS. Thus, I won't be back until this little issue is resolved.

  Comp Issue update

  My Problem has been narrowed down to the motherboard.

  But that isn't what I'm posting for. I'm posting to say Hooray! I recovered all my Emulator savestates from the Hard drive! It took some screwing around, but I did it! Now I can play FF3 and FF5 on my laptop! Yay! I also recovered my PCSX2 and EPSXE savestates on my laptop, so I won't need to lose everything. The only thing I've truly lost is the games I downloaded. I jave to redownload it, which kind of sucks. I can't fit all that on one USB Drive. Re downloading will take some time, but recovering the savestates was well worth it!

  ...Sorry guys

  I'm sorry to say that this is goodbye. Forever. Not only will I VERY rarely log on to GS, but I may never come back after this message. My main computer refused to boot after a recent windows update, and nothing seems to work. I lost months worth of progress with the loss of my PC, and I essentially lost access to the outside world. At the moment, i'm logged onto my extremely useless laptop, because it's all I've got. I can't live on gaming anymore with this laptop, and until the day my computer recovers from death itself, I won't see GS ever again.

  Yes, this is the moment to cue the "Unforgettable Silhouette" music from Final Fantasy IX. I loved that computer, and its loss sort of sucked for me. My computer will never talk, laugh, cry or get angry ever again... my hands are tingling... my eyes are burning!... you get the point.

  It died after a Windows Update late last night, at APPR 3 am, when I just happened to be trying out Kingdom Hearts 2 to see if it was anything better than that first wreck of a game. I never got into it far enough to know, but now, it doesn't even matter. I'll never enjoy life again until it recovers, because I sort of treat my game save files like my precious children... Bye forever.
