Lindsay Lohan's thriller I Know Who Killed Me has

been nominated for nine Razzie awards, while

Eddie Murphy's Norbit is up for eight.

The LA-based Razzies, which honour the year's worst

Hollywood films, have given Murphy five nods - the

most an individual has received in one year.

Both movies receive terrible reviews.

He plays three characters in the film about a man

who meets his ideal woman while engaged to a

battleaxe.

Lohan got two nods for playing two characters

who may be the same person.

It is quite a turnaround in Murphy's fortunes, as

he was up for an Oscar last year for Dreamgirls.

He shares a worst screenplay nomination for

co-writing Norbit.

"We decided that each of his characters was so

offensive that he deserved individual nominations,

" said Razzies founder John Wilson.

Both movies are up for worst film.

Murphy and Lohan 'worst actors'

"By the end of it, you still don't know what happened,

and don't really care. Are they twins or aren't they?

Did she imagine it? Can I please have my hour and 50

minutes back?"

Critics savage Lohan film.

The other worst-picture nominees were Bratz,

a live-action film based on the childrens' dolls;

Daddy Day Camp, with Cuba Gooding Jr starring in the

sequel to Murphy's Daddy Day Care; and I Now

Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Adam Sandler

and Kevin James' comedy about firefighters

posing as a gay couple.

Sandler and Gooding were both up for worst actor

along with Nicolas Cage for Ghost Rider and Jim

Carrey for The Number 23.

The four stars of Bratz shared a nomination for

worst actress, along with Jessica Alba for three

films - Awake, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver

Surfer and Good Luck Chuck.

24 star Elisha Cuthbert was nominated for Captivity

while Diane Keaton got a nod for Because I Said So.

The Razzie nominations came out a day before the

Oscar nominations, and the awards are held on

23 February, the day before the Oscars.

I like Eddie Murphy best in his comedy movies. Lindsey Lohan is just another pretty face in Hollywood. There is nothing special about her and her short neck bothers me all the time Adam Sandler is a bore and vulgar too. Nick Cage is one of all time favorites A good actor and looks a bit like my bro All together Razzie is a fun event

Cool thanks for this info Iowa I didnt even know this event was in existance at all! I'm not a fan of eddie murphy at all, dont recall watching a Lindsey lohan movie, I dont mind some of Adam sandler depends on the movie and I like Nick cage also, best like him in Con air!

Nick Cage is one of my Favourite, but even good actors have bad movies. I watched Con Air a couple days ago and it is great.

I never liked Diane Keaton. Elisha Cuthbert and Jessica Alba are pretty but never were known as good actresses. Lohan was a mediocre child star but a train wreck as an adult who didn't have the good sense to retire gracefully and stay out of the limelight so she could drink all she wanted in private.

Eddie Murphy was at least mildly amusing in all his early movies and often very funny.

Gooding has been in better ....if not great shows. Kevin James should stick to the small screen where he embarrasses himself on a smaller scale.

Adam Sandler can be kind of funny, his films are usually pretty silly but I have enjoyed a few of them. After all movies are for fun - you aren't supposed to take it serious.

If took my cinema super cereal I wouldn't be a horror flick fanboy

Lohan is part of an illustrious group in Hollywood I like to call the "Undeserved Fame" group. Current residents of this group include Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears among others. People like her that shouldn't be in the position they are because they are unappreciative of what they have and they simply squander their fame into oblivion. They also don't know how to handle themselves or the "attention" that they garner.

It's really sad that their are thousands of people out there trying to seriously make it as an actor because they love to do it and they've gone to school to learn the craft, and many of them will be lucky to get a spot in a TV commercial. And then we have stunning examples of Lohan and her ilk that have every opportunity thrown at them to be successful and they ruin it through self-destructiveness.

It also is rare for Tom Cruise to not be leading the race for the worst actor award

I sure hope Lindsay detoxifies for good before she ruins a superstar's career. It's been a long time since "Parent Trap".

I don't care very much for names. I know some actors and don't know some but it's not imptnt for me at all who's playing which role in what movie. The movie itself only shall be judged while I'm watching it.
    ...
    Hmmm ...
    Somehow... Hmmm ...
Excluding the names he mentioned, I'm kind of supportive for Karvyn's idea (Post Number 4). It's a truth that some ppl shouldn't be at the place that they're on it right now.

I liked "I now prenounce you Chuck & Larry" . It certainly wasn't good directing or acting in any way but it often funny, entertaining and interesting.

I hate all these actors you mentioned. They're movies are always really bad. Except for Kevin James (from the King of Queens, which is my mom's favorite TV show) and I love Adam Sandler's movies. Most of them are funny in a good way.

My mom loves King of Queens too. I always rather like Leah Rimini, but I don't like the goofus who plays her father.
