It's been almost a year sine a wrote a blog. I haven't been on this site in ages. It looks so new and high tech. I kinda miss how it use to look.

Anyways, I've been real busy. I'm a senior now and hardly have time to be on the internet. If I am, it's for school or I'm checking my mail. All school year I have been busy. In the beggining, I was so busy with Marching Band. Then I was in the narrator in the Heritage Play. It's play about African American history. I'm editor of the yearbook and basically the only one who works one it so I'm after school everyday working on it. Now I'm in Showstoppers. This year we are doing Bye Bye Birdie. I'll be a dancer in it.

I've also been busy with applying to colleges. I'm so tired of it. Now, I'm just waiting on there responses and scholarships. So far I've been accepted to 6 six. Today, I called and I've been accapeted to 2 more. Now I'm waiting on 2 more. I've written so many essays. I'm tired of it. Once, I get all my acceptances I should go visit the schools. My plan is to go to the school who gives me the most. I'm really hoping for a full scholarship. These schools are so expensive.

Another thing, about a month ago we got Comcast Triple Play. Before we had corney Netzero and DTV. Now, I'm like on On Demand every day. I love it. They have so much good stuff to watch on there. And this fast internet. You don't understand, when I had Netzero there were times where I had to wait hours to watch a 2 minute video on Youtube. The only bad thing is that we had to get a new home phone number.

Speaking of phone, I just lost my cell phone last week. I feel horrible. This was my first phone ever. I had it for 2 years. I remeber I got it on 2/13/07. I was a sophomore and I was showing it off at school. I loved that phone. I turned it off and since we had that service for 2 years we're available for an upgrade. The phone I had was Samsung t-519 but I think I might get the Nokia 6301.

Oh yeah, in the summer time I got my first job. In July I worked at worked Burger King only for a month. I got fired for taking a Hershey pie. Man those things are good. I can't believe I actually got fired for that. They could've taken it out of my check or something. But I'm glad I did because I hated it there. The service was horrible. There would so many customers and like only 3 people working there. Then in August I worked at Taco Bell. It was much better. But really boring. It was the total opposite. Around here, not that many people eat Taco Bell compared to Burger King or McDonalds. I was a cashier and also had to wash the tables and sweep floors. I would be so bored that I would clean the same spots twice!!!

Well...this is all that has been happening to me since that least time a blogged. What's been going on with you?!?

Let's see...

Since I've posted my last blog 5 months ago, I have been apart of the Spring production in my school. This year we did The Wiz, the Broadway version not the movie. It turned out to be really good. I was a dancer. I was the wind (when Dorothy is caught from in the tornado), yellow brick road, fire dance (when they meet the wiz) and a winkie (Eviliene's slaves). We had a new director this year so it was really difficult with her but she's not coming back next year (thank goodness).

My grades have been good. That past 2 marking periods I've got straight A's. I've been inducted into the National Honor Society. I didn't know that this program was all about community service. It sucks. I thought it had to do with academics and stuff like that. You have to get 6 credits before you graduate.

The school year is almost over. We get out on June 18th. Time flies but I'll be a senior next year. Next year will be my busiest year. I have colorguard, yearbook, National Honor Society, homecoming, Showstoppers (spring production), SATs, colleges, Advance Placement, and I might do the winter production.

Please share your thoughts. I'm excited to know what you think. It took me forever to find the name of these shows. I'm still not done b/c I'm always finding more shows I use to watch.For some of these shows I can barely remember b/c I was either very young or it didn't last. Please tell me any show you think you should be on there.

I know I haven't been on in a while but that has changed. Band season is over. We did much better since out last competition. We've had 2 competitions since. In our 2nd one, we still got 2nd place but our score was 73.65 and the team that won 1st got a 74. But we took home the Best Music Award, Best Percussion Ensemble and Best Colorguard. Our last competition we got 1st place only because were the only team in our division but we got a 76. And in the overall competition we took home Best Overall Colorguard. But now my busy days are over. Well... at least for now.

People were right. Junior is your hardest year. I have so much work. I can't believe I thought it was gonna be easy. I have so much on my plate plus other activities. Was it like this for any of you???

Well...since the last time I've been on here I have became a big Heroes fan. My brother bought the first season on DVD and we watch all 23 episodes in 2 days. We were really addicted. I started to watch some episodes on the internet and TV and while friends filled me in. I feel like I've been missing out.

I can't wait until winter break comes. Ours starts on the 21st. I am so sick of school right now. I mean school can be okay at times. I'm not one of those people who just hate school but I usually start to dread school around the winter time.

Wow! I can't I'm in the Community Spotlight. I've been aprt of this site for 2 years now and I would've never thought I would see the day. I just happen to log on the site during the right time or else I would've neve known.

I havent been able to go on the internet as much and I feel so bad. I've really missed being on this site. I just checked my email and I had 25 unread messages. Ever since I started colorguard, I haven't been able to do as mush as I wanted. Plus, Im doing homecoming. That's really time consuming. Also, it's Ramadan and I'm really tired. Atfer I eat, I just wanna sleep.

Well...last week we, theWHS Marching band, hadour first competition of the season. There were many teams but there is only 2 bands in our division. That includes us and Monore. Well, we got 2nd place with a score of 66.3 and the other team got a 72. That is so horrible guys. My coach said that is the lowest in the entire state. But I know definitely we will have at least a higher score. Last year, their score was much better. Their score use to be in the 80s and 90s. But now we have a lot new people and a new band director.

Another thing with being a part of colorguard is that I get to see the football games now. Our varsity football team is not doing good at all. We had 4 games so far and we have lost every single one. Our junior varsity has lost every game. But ironically our freshman football team had won every single game.

I'm finally an Editor. I've just become an editor of Robert Townsend. I'm so happy but I don't think anyone is gonna be sending any info of him because he's kinda be in the shawdows lately. But I plan on being an editor on some other people or at least a trusted contributor. I've been a part of this site for nearly 2 years and it's about time I start getting some titles!!!

Also, I am an official member now of the WHS colorguard. I have recently made the team. For those who don't know colorguard are the girls that twirls the flags around the band during halftime of the football game. Today was our first official practice. The routine, well at least to me, is so hard. But I'm so gald that the other members have helped me.

School starts Sept.5. I can't wait. I never wanted to go to school so badly. This summer was so boring for me. I wish I had a job to keep me busy. I'm defintely have to get one when football season is over or at least during the second semester. Who doesn't like to have their own money?!? I don't want to go to school for the work but because I'm going to be around my friends again and it keeps me busy. Especially homecoming!!!!

This school is almost over. It ends June 20th. It went so fast. Of course, we all know that when you get more and more into school it gets harder. I think this was the hardest one yet. Especially, in English and Algebra 2. But on the good side I was able to maintain all A's and a 4.0.

I've never had s much work do at once. I'm so glad I've gotten through all of this. I just started finals today. I had my Algebra 2 final exam and at first is was soooo hard but I'm pretty confident I'm gonna get a good grade.

I hope that next year isn't as tense. But I'm glad summer is coming. I'll be doing a collegebound again. It a summer program at the College of New Jersey were high school sudents atay on campus and take 5 class. It gets you prepared for the upcoming school year and college.

I auditioned for color guard. At first I was nervous because I wasn't use to doing flag work. But I made the team. So I'll be doing band camp in the summer time and be touring with the marching band.

How was ur school year and what will u be doing in the summer time?

Well...Spring Break is halfway over. We started on 4/6 and we go back on 4/16. I really don't feel like going. My English teacher of course gave us homework. I have to do the work in my literature book and read the first couple of chapters of I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings. I really don't know why this lady has to be the odd ball and give us work. Of corse her reasoning is that "your honors class" and "I'm preparing you for college". But please lady throw me a bone.

Yesterday, I went to see Blades of Glory. I thought it was kinda funny. I think people who are a fan of Will Ferrell and have seen his movies would be pleased. My dad only saw 1 movie from Will Ferrel and thougt it would be nice to see this but he didn't like this too much because Will played a sex addict and I guess he felt uncomfortable about that. Anyway, I'll get the movie when it comes out on DVD.

My brother's b-day is tmomorrow and yesterday I mailed out his gift. I got him the first season of Martin on DVD. He's a fan of the show. So am I. I think that's one of the nicest things I did for him because I nver got him a gift that good plus it was something I've been wanting to get myself for the longest but I decided to give it to him. It also had to scrap up so my last saved money. But I'll know he'll enjoy it.

Last week I lost my bottom retainer. I'm so mad. It fell out of my pocket. Both of my retainers, top and bottom, are $300 each. I haven't been to my orthodonist yet but I really hope my teeth don't shift. I fear that I'm gonna have to wear braces again if that happens.

I got my report card a couple days ago for the 2nd marking period. I got sraight A's. I also got it in the first marking period. My GPA is a 4.0. I've worked really hard epsecially in English class. Now I'm in the 2nd semester. I'm half way through the school year!!!!

For the past 3 months I have been rehearsing for school play. The group is called Heritage. It is an African American play put on by the students displaying history while acting, singing and dancing. This has been going on for over 25 years. We will perform for 4 days in 2 weeks.

It's been really lonely at home. My brother went back to Bowie State University in January after winter break and my other brother works at radio station in Illionois. After school, I'm either at my dad's house or my mothers. So it's just me and my parents.

Other than that things have been okay for me. I still come to tv.com but I know I should blog more.

On Friday, Nov.3, I took my Drivers Ed. test. No, I didn't drive the car. It was just the written test. Thankfully, we have Drivers Ed. in school. We get it for 1 marking period.

We were all so nervous. This was an important test for us. We took the practice test the day before. This gives you a feeling how the actual test will be. Since there's only 50 question you can only get 10 wrong. You MUST pass with at least a 80%. Unfortuanltely on the practice test I got a 11 wrong. So I knew I had to study.

So I went home and read the entire NJ Driving Manual. I did pretty good through out the course. I didn't do bad on any test and I did all my homework. But I was still nervous.One thing that can get you confused is numbers. You must now about speed lmits, B.A.C, amount alcohol, driving hours, fines etc.

Well...I took the test. I was one of the last ones to turn it in. I wanted to make sure that I had the right answers. After school, a few us waited to find out how we did on the test. I got a 94%. That means I only got 3 wrong out of 50 questions. I was so happy. I've been bragging about it to my parents.

Mine would have to be Major Payne with Damon Wayans. I haven't seen all of their movies but this one holds the spot. In Livivng Color would be my favorite show It's such a classic.
