All About hollacious

This ain't no walk in the park but I call it my home, and you're all invited!

Now my life seems to be without all the drama I've ran out of the interesting things to blog about! So they'll probably be a lot more blogs like this in the up coming future!

    TV Shows....

    • Well this month I've been on a boxset splurge... I have like no self control when it comes to buying DVD's and my excuse was - they were relatively cheap! So one night last week I was bored so Bonnie and I drove down to that wonderful place called ASDA and I spent like half an hour around the DVD/CD section (like I usually do) looking to increase my already large DVD collection this is when I saw the complete season 1 of Kyle XY for £20!!! Into my basket it went... then I looked at the Shelf above the complete season 2 of Heroes for £21!!! Into the basket that went too... then last tuesday when I went to ASDA again with Cat I saw Supernatural season 3 for £19!!! Well I was impressed so that went into my basket... I've already watched the complete season 1 of Kyle XY and picked out a few of my fave season 2 heroes eps to watch and last night I watched the first ep of Supernatural season 3 before going to sleep.

    • Also I've recently been watching Point Pleasant again, when Cat spent the year in New Zealand she said she had caught the odd episode of it and I told her I had the boxset so we've been watching it through so far we've got upto episode 7. I wish Point Pleasant was never cancelled, it's such a good show, the ending was so good that they could have either left it or continued with another season

    Films I've been Watching...

    • I haven't been to the cinema since going to see Mamma Mia! (for the 3rd time...) but I do Intend to go see "Don't mess with the Zohan" "Wildchild" & "Step Brothers" from the trailers they look really good! Also coming soon is another one of those spoof films "Disaster Movie" now even though they are usually poorly recieved, strangely I enjoy them so I want to see this, I have a twisted sense of humour lol

    • Last night at my dads I watched "Step Up 2 the Streets" I loooooooooove this film! I've watched it about 5 times now! I'm still undecided which of the two 'Step up' films I prefer!

    What I've been Listening to...

    • Mostly I've had my Mamma Mia! Soundtrack on in the car... simply because it's all Bonnie seems to want to listen to at the minute, when she's not in the car I tend to switch CD's over because listening to the same album repeatedly gets old really quickly and I hate getting bored of things I like!

    • I make my own compilation CD's for my car, the most recent two I had made are on a lot at the minute, the first is just a CD filled with all the latest tunes and the second contains all my old cl@ssic favourites, some of the songs that are on it include - Alannah Miles - Black Velvet, 4 Non Blondes - What's Up, Michael Jackson - Dirty Diana, Lutricia McNeal - Stranded, Lisa Loeb - Stay (I Missed You), Celine Dion - Alone, Lucie Silvas - Nothing Else Matters (Metallica's version is so much better but Lucie Silvas version blends better with the 'feel' of the CD) Steps - I know him so well, Shania Twain - Don't, No Doubt - Don't Speak, The Cranberries - Zombie, Linda Perry - Fruitloop Daydream, Meat Loaf - Paradise by the Dashboard Lights etc... just all the kind of music I just love to sing along to!

    What I've been reading...

    • I've been re-reading my favourite Book series, technically its aimed at a teenage audience and I know I'm 21 now but I don't care I love them! It's the Wicca series (or also known as Sweep in the US) written by Cate Tiernan. There are 15 books in the series and I have read each one about 20 times or more! And I'm currently on book 9 which is called "Strife" I love the story arch and I've written a lot of fanfiction based on the books (on fanfiction.net under the pen name sunshine_faery) Look them up go to a library and have a read, I do highly recommend them!

  • I've also just bought a book by my other favourite author Cecelia Ahern (also writer of TV series Samantha Who) the book is called "A Place Called Here" and I can't wait to get reading it! I've read her 3 previous books "P.S. I Love You" (which is the book of the film, but it's actually better than the film!) "Where Rainbows End" and my favourite (which they are planning to make into a film starring Hugh Jackman) "If You Could See Me Now"

  • And in other news...

    • My sister is 2 weeks from her due date now... so anytime now we shall be expecting baby Gean-Thomas *cue the eye rolling* what is she thinking? Its a terrible name!
    • Tonight I'm taking Bonnie, Cat and my sister Vicki out in Nottingham to @d2 the gay bar one of my best mates Ady runs, its Karaoke night so all the drag queens will be out but unfortunately I think my tonsilitus is coming back because I can hardly speak today! So that means no Meat loaf tonight (sorry Andy )
    • My mother and I are clashing a lot lately theres a lot of head banging at the minute and its getting to the point where I'm ready to move out again, but I'm at home at the minute so I can save up. I think more than anything I miss being independant and I miss my privacy she's taking her bad moods out on me, I get fed up, yell back and storm out the house... its strange because we've always been close, but since I've moved back home after living away for 2 years with my ex, Karl, Ady and Greg we've just clashed big time. She's also hidden away the laptop again I don't know what I'm being punished for this time but I'm not home much these days anyway so I'll let her get on with it...
    • 6th September is Bonnie's 18th birthday night out, the theme - PIRATES my pirate costume came last week so I'm prepared! The night also clashes with a work night out so I'll be seeing all my work pals out and about and I'll mingle with them for a bit... dressed as a pirate... the photos will appear on facebook shortly after
    • My sister vicki had already banged her car... 2 days after she got it... she scratched the side on a post at our local mcdonalds drive through... which is really Ironic because thats how I dented the door on my first car... at least that happened 2 months after I had the car... not 2 days. Boy did I laugh she can no longer mock me for that! She also got a tattoo on her lower back, its a little flower thing its pretty and again its made me question whether I really want on or not... I doubt I ever will but maybe a simple little design on my foot is something I'm interested in!

So thats really about it from me... I've got nothing else interesting to report to you guys

So signing off... Lub you all! Hollie xxx

    My Weekend... in London

On friday after thinking loooong and hard about what to do the real question I had to ask myself was, "Do I still have any feelings for him whatsoever?" If I could honestly answer "No" then I decided that I wouldn't need space from him which is the big pointer you guys gave me...

So again I went over in my head everything that had happened and I realised I was definitely over it, I felt nothing for him. I re read the apologetic email he sent me and decided that yeah I missed his friendship and who am I to turn away friends (no matter how much of an @ss they've been) I've always been a person who gives, 2nd, 3rd and sometimes even 4 chances to people and I'm a pretty big person. I've not completely forgiven him, but I decided the air needed to be clear face to face and not just via text and email, besides it was a 3 day weekend and I had nothing else to do...

So I text Lee telling him I'd go down under the condition he realises I'm just going down as his friend, not his "shag pal" and he understood and was happy I was coming to see him.

So friday night I dressed up G I Jane stile (i can spell it just won't except the word spelt the right way for some unknown reason) for Vicki's 18th and it was a fab night out! Really enjoyed myself, those of you who are my friend on facebook there are like 4 albums worth of pics up there! And for those who aren't on facebook then I'll post a blog at a later date with a few pics, but I'm currently at work so I don't have access to them

So saturday morning I packed a bag and set off to head for heathrow where Lee lives (literally a 2 min walk from the airport)

When I got there he greeted me with a massive hug and kissed me on the cheek and apologised again then thanked me for coming. He took me to a local pub for dinner where he had just been given a job (he starts on wednesday) and it was a nice place, Lee loves it because it's even closer to the airport and its directly underneath one of the flight paths and loved watching the planes, with just one look he could tell me the model of the plane, what country it's from and all sorts... mostly I just nodded and smiled, but he seemed to be happier he got excited everytime a plane went by bless.

Anyway we went back to his and at the minute he's renting a room in a house which some landlord had bought and every room (except bathroom & kitchen) had been converted into a bedroom and each room had a locking door, he says he's moving in with a few of his course mates in a couple of months and he had to find something quick.

So we watched a few films before going to bed, we shared the double bed but he didn't try anything which I really appreciated, I just turned over and went to sleep and he put his arm around me.

The next morning, we decided to check out the Notting Hill carnival. So we went down there and it took us about an hour of walking around before we actually found the carnival itself amongst the crowds of people, but it was cool we nosied around for a couple of hours and decided to then see what was going off near Buckingham Palace where the Olympic celebrations were taking place, but the nearest tube stations were closed or were made "exit only" so we forgot about it and found somewhere to eat instead and then we found a bowling alley and had a couple of games.

Again went back to Lee's and watched some TV before going to sleep, and when I woke yesterday morning I was awoken by breakfast in bed, he'd made me a sausage and bacon sandwich and a cup of tea, exactly how I liked it, I had no idea he knew how I liked my tea so I was rather surprised.

We spent a lazy day in yesterday watching TV, then the Live report for the GB Olympic team coming back home, it was weird because we were watching the planes fly over Lee's house and 30 seconds later they were on the TV behind the news reporter, it was pretty cool. We waited, kept spotting the planes going over and appearing on the TV and then finally the Gold Tipped nose British Airlines plane flew over head and it was the Olympic plane and then 30 seconds later it was on the TV behind us it was really cool, so then we got in the car and drove down to the airport and stood outside the fence and watched the media circus as the Olympic team got off the plane. It was very cool.

So anyways after that we headed out for a subway and then ate it back at Lee's before I knew it it was 6pm and I thought I should leave because it was a 2 and a half hour drive home and thats only if there were no traffic, getting down there took an extra hour because I was stuck in traffic on the m25 for so long! But I did well, my beloved Daisy Roo got me home in just over 2 hours.

On my way home I picked up my friend Cat, who is my oldest friend (an even older friend then Lauren who I have a 10 year friendship with) I've known Cat since we were 5 and were inseperable until we were about 17, then we kind of drifted apart, she had practically lived at my house but we went to different high schools, for 6th form I had transferred to her school, but I think we felt like we were just living in each others pockets and thats where I met Karl one of my best mates and Cat had all her group of friends there so we just drifted apart, you know how you do... Anyway Vicki had invited Cat out to her 18th and so we caught up and we've promised to stay in touch again and spend more time together, so we got back to mine last night we watched a bit of Point Pleasant and then went for a random little drive and took her to get a mcdonalds, next thing I knew it was nearly 1am so I took her home and went back home to bed.

So thats pretty much my weekend. I cleared the air with Lee, told him exactly what I thought and we'd made friends and friends is all we are, my feelings for him are definitely gone. And now I know that for sure, because when I saw him I felt no different, no pounding heart beat or lustful feelings for him, it was like a huge weight had been lifted off me. And I was reunited with my oldest friend in the world!

So all in all, a good weekend

Birthdays, Surplus and Bank Holiday Weekend Plans!!

Hey I'm back from taking a short break from the over-blogging I've done recently!!!

There isn't really much new to report to be honest I just finally found a bored moment this week at work (which makes a huge change) and decided to post something.

Well first off all it's my little sister Vicki's (sibling no 4) 18th birthday today and I wish her many happy returns, last week she passed her driving test and my mum and her fiance bought her a blue vauxhall corsa and she is absolutely thrilled bless her! Tonight we go out in celebration round the fabulous town of Newark, Nottinghamshire, dressed in Army gear

I've already made up the chant for her and we shall sing it as we get completely drunk "I don't know what I've been told! Vicki is 18 years old! There will be fun and drink tonight! And we won't see home till morning light!!" hehehe I shall post photos of tonight and last sat night (cowboy themed night) on another post at a later time...

Well I haven't been around much anyway this week because I've not being doing my normal job at work, this week I've been put in the Warehouse to help out on despatch and it's been great! The week has flown by, I've learned new things and haven't taken a single phone call, best of all I've actually been busy so no thumb twiddling... BUT because the guys down here were very surprised with how quick I've picked things up and how efficient I am I've actually finished all my work for the week and now I'm back to twiddling my thumbs and have to wait for the couriers to come in to see if they bring in more work for me but it's good because I've got lots on here to catch up with!

In other news, I've recently recieved a message from Lee, I would post the whole thing on here but its looong and theres a lot on there that is kind of private but anyway the general gist of it is that he misses me speaking to him, he's sorry again for all the pain he's caused me and wishes we could be friends again if nothing else, we've been friends for long time (6 years) and our friendship means a lot to him, he was a complete @ss etc... anyway it was one hell of a long email!

I didn't know how to reply and so yet I haven't, but he sent me another one asking me if I was busy this bank holiday weekend as he'd like me to go down to see him in london and we can do the whole tourist thing, and again I'm not sure, if he can accept that a friendship is all we can have now with no sex involved, then I suppose I can forgive him and go to see him, but I worry that he may expect something else from me while I'm there... I'll be considering it all day.

I've still not given him a yes or no yet, I did however text him last night telling him I really appreciate his apology and I would LIKE to be his friend again but I wouldn't be sure if I could accept it after everything he's done, I also told him I'll think about this weekend and let him know this evening.

He replied saying that again he's so very sorry for hurting me, and he'll understand if I never want to speak to him again.

So guys and girls what do you think? I know i'm big enough a person to accept the apology, but would I be so stupid in doing so? Shall I go to see him? (Making sure it's perfectly clear to him that there will be no intimacy involved!)

    HELP!

Signing out with love to you all... Hollie xxx
