Had high hopes for the Max Payne movie...

Might be old news, but I just found out that the Max Payne movie is rated PG-13! WHY!?!? For those who are familiar with, and/or liked the game, you know that Max Payne was gritty, raw, and just straight up brutal. And given the Valkyrie drugs, that gave the game a M rating on its own. Now, how are you going to translate the awesome world that R* put together in a PG-13 movie? I have no idea. I am shocked at this, but I will probably go and see it, just to see how it turns out. Who else is shocked at this? But, no matter what it turns out like, we all must be thankfull of one thing: UWE BOLL DIDN'T DIRECT THIS MOVIE....YYYAAAYYY!!!

I unleashed the force....and actually won

Okay, my friend and I decided to have a little contest. To see who could beat the game first on Sith Lord difficulty (hard). Turns out that I am a bit behind. He beat the game yesterday, and out of determination decided to step it up a knotch. Good thing to because the ending level was tough....very tough. But all in all it was worth it. If you are a Star Wars fan, give this game a shot. Action fans apply too. But sadly, I bought it, and after finishing it, I just don't have the motivation to pick it back up. Now this is going to be a long wait for Oct. 21 because of Fable 2 and Farcry 2. Other than that, what games are you guys looking forward to?

    Time well spent

I finally have had a little bit of time away from work, due to a vacation to Tennessee with my family. Visiting Pidgeon Forge and seeing the strip is a sight to behold. I have no problem with heights, but being on top of a mountain the whole trip made my mom a little uneasy. That was last weekend.

This weekend, I finally got to see two movies that I have been waiting on for a while: Wanted and The Dark Knight. Wanted was very cool, and had some awesome shootouts, and while a bit unrealistic, the bullet-curving was an original idea. As for the Dark Knight, I'm sure everyone will agree that this movie was the summer blockbuster that everyone was hoping it would be. Heath Ledger just bumped Jack Nickelson out of the way and stole his spotlight as the Joker. Every moment Heath was on screen he would make you laugh, and strike a sense of fear into you. I have no clue as how the next Batman, or even the next superhero movie, will top the The Dark Knight.

The biggest news is that right before my vacation with my family in Tennessee, I finally got my PS3 along with Uncharted. I have already cheated and beaten MGS 4 on my friends PS3, but that was one gaming experiece that I won't soon forget, and was the defining reason why that was my favorite game series created. Hands down! As for Uncharted, that would go down as one of my favorite action games, and was a unique entry in a game genre crowded by duds and imitators.

As for everyone, how has everyone's summer been? Any good summer stories to tell of?
