    All-Time Favorite Game #2

    #2 - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, X360, PS3, Wii)

    File:Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.jpg

I think most people can agree that the fourth installement of the Call of Duty series is the best and most polished yet. (i wrote this before MW2 came out, even then, i think MW1 is better). The descision to leave WWII was well done, and IF managed to make it feel like priorCOD games, but updated it well with the technology of modern warfare. The single-player campaign, while a little short, was well-paced and very fun. It had some very intense firefight levels, while still having some slower paced missions. All-Ghillied Up is my favorite mission from any game i've ever played. The multiplayer , however, is why most people enjoy this game so much. The XP system, the leveling, and unlockables all make this the most addictive multiplayer i've played. It really makes you wanna keep playing until you get that next level. It really its just well-done, and any new multiplayer shooter is inevitable going to be compared. Overall, COD4:MW is one of the few games that i consider to be close to gaming perfection.

Since I took so long to finish this list, i'll put up a complete list of the previous entries a day or two before i put the #1 game.

EDIT: Also, I think it's time I get a new sig. I've had this one for well over two years. So anyone who can/wants to make me a new one, just PM me and i'll give you the details. It'll probably be something with dragon age or ac2. thanks

    All-Time Favorite Games #3

#3 - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (PC, Xbox)

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Boxshot

Most anyone who has played this game know it is excellent. My favorite Bioware game to date (although that could change pretty soon here). The story starts off kinda of slow, but its builds up to probably my favorite moment in any game. And that is the twist, which I won't spoil for anyone who hasn't played it. The twist is excellent, and you probably won't see it coming, but it does actually make sense. After that the story really picks up and gets really good. You might be a little turned off by the combat system from just watching, but it is actually really good, and adds a lot of strategy to the game. Plus, its a freaking Star Wars game, so you do use lightsabers and use all the awsome force powers. The interactions with your npc companions are good as well. While the conversation system might not be as good as Mass Effect, it definetly layed down the path. You can choose to be nice to your buddies, or be a total jerk and go all dark side on them. This goes with the story as well, and you can make many choices about how or what you wanna do. This is an excellent game, one that a really really enjoyed. Ifyou call yourself an RPG fan, then you probably have already played it, but if you havent and own a 360 or PC, go to amazon.com and order one now! (you won't find it in stores, trust me, i looked)
