    Rejuvenation..?

Hi folks. Believe it or not, I am back on (game) tracks ...much sooner then I thought i will. I `ve tried to wrestle with my "gamer" nature ...but i failed, i thought there are far more important things in life then playing games, but I was wrong .

Once again, I am sorry for leaving you guys and dissapearing from the site, but as i said, i thought my gaming days were over for good. So, after a months of non gaming i took a vacation, got myself a couple of great games and played like insane, with two packs of ciggies per day, few hours of sleep, half and hour to eat and the rest of the time it was ...playing Dragon Age Origins, `till i coudn`t feel my fingers anymore...or my batery on MX Revolution was empty.

...thats how i picture my perfect one week vacation. I happen to beat the game in 100+ hours with only few side quests remained unfinished (mostly broken ones). It was a sweet journey and i must say, its certainly one of the best games i have played, ever. Usually, it isn`t my thingie to "die for a RPG" but in this case i was really amazed with the story ...and, well ..everything. The game isn`t flawless, but its a must have for all RPG lovers, dont miss it.

I would gave this game a perfect 10 but...

I also made same hi def movies of my gameplay (reloaded couple of savegames just to capture some moments after i finished the game) ...took me some hours to upload them, how to upload HD videos here?

I`ll try shortly to review the game with my new reviewing system.

Game have several broken quests, after you speak with the person who is a part of the quest and take that quest after, you won`t be able to finish it, because dialogues don`t exist anymore (Brescilian Forest, you try to bond a young hunter with a girl) ...very linear path on every map (somehow reminds me of Pacman) ...i miss open maps like seen in Age of Conan...sigh. There are no signs of active quests, even if you set a quest on active it won`t show you where you need to go (even if it is on a same map) ...well, for me it was very hard to remember all the character`s names in the game (hundreds of them), even though I have a great memory for details. But those are some minor flaws, game is near perfect.

Everything else... graphic is well optimized with beautiful particle effects, sound and music are flawless, level design and maps are vivid, dungeons are huge and full of epic equipement, story is better then in most of the movies now-a-days, dialogues are fantastic (with each conversation you must very carefully choose what you will answer because that will decide your faith and further advance) ...quests are interesting enough to keep you occupied most of the time, but focused on killing bosses at the end (or spare them to get them on your side) Great replay value, every clas have several ways to change how the story ends. In the begining, its very hard to control 4 characters, but later on, you ll find hard to acomplish anything if you don` have a full team on your side (or use them against others, you need to use politics a little). My score is 9,8, best game in years!

    Story

You begin as a youngster, a noble (at least as a warrior) trying to prove to your father that you are a worthy warrior, after your family is sloughtered by a once trusty man, the famouse Grey Warden`s are almost left for extinction ...and Dragon Age epic journey begins.

How to resist such a beauty.

...or this one...the lady of the forest.

    Grand Oak ...damn LOTR copycats

My trusty companion ...and a mistress ...witch Morrigan, who want me to make her a baby because...spoiler...i also made her a healer...and yes, there is a sex scenes in this game, once you tell her this line ..."YOU ARE A HEARTLESS SCREW, AREN`T YOU?" ...I used to say that to all of my simphaties in high school ...lol

The final battle, he was a one tough m*f*

    Graphics are simply amazing...

..yeah, thats me, Greendevil and i like to chop bodyparts...

Game on, brothers and sisters. I hope I am not forgotten
