"Looks like I'm in the Red Alex!"

Yes, That is correct. I am now 300 dollars in debt after giving into my gaming primal instincts. I have purchase a WII (Cue heavenly music) I indeed have been looking for a Wii for some time. As I check the stock on the Futureshop website, a little green check signified that it was in stock. I immediately called to alert them of such mistake. However, it was no mistake. There was Six Wiis left. Almost immediately, I drove up to Futureshop and was lucky enough to purchase one of the last few (there being only 2 by the time I arrived) The Wii offers much more than I anticipated, Wi-fi, internet access and a sweet array of games. Although as of now, I am only able to play Raving Rabbids and Wii Sports, It is nonetheless an enjoying experience. Until I get out of the red( and stop spending for a good two months) My game library will most likely remain the same of awhile. Although I have gotten a Wii, you'd assume I'd entirelyt neglect my Xbox 360. Although I have severely cut gameplay time (also due in part to my lack of Live, lets face it, playing alone gets boring) i still continue to keep gaming on my Xbox 360. As of now, I continue slaughtering zombies in Dead Rising, a surprisingly sufficient outlet for my agression.

Gee, that PS3 is lookin' mighty fine now.

Remember my last blog post? The one directly right below this one? The one where I in no way planned to purchase or even consider me, owning a Playstation 3. Only two moths ago, the very idea was incoceivable. However, now that I had already gone through (TWO) Xbox 360s, I have now suddenly shirfted my views to Playstation. The console is dependable,Blu Ray, Sleek, and much more room than on defult PS3s than that of the Xbox 360. After the untimely end of both Xboxs, my views on Microsoft had taken for the worst. Although, I was fully aware of the calculated risk of a hardware failure, with 30%. I admit, this is part was my fault. I had the chance of both a Wii and PS3 with a failure rate of 3-5% yet, I rather instead chose a Xbox. i admit, I have regretted this decision. And the chance that my repair would only return with abysmal results and I will have to constantly adress this issue in the distant future, presents both the Wii and Playstation 3(Ideally the PS3) as a proper candidate to replace my now defunct Xbox 360. However, I only worry of what games will come to Playstation, I could be spending $400 on a 15 lbs paperweight ( however, thats the exact situation I had come upon this current moment with the 360)

This trend is disguisting Microsoft, they must adress this issue head on, focus more funds on ridding consumers of failure-prone Xbox 360s, rather than spend millions in endorsements and advertising campaigns to promote Xbox 360 games (gee, you know, you do need a oh I don't know, a fully functional XBOX 360 to play!) Whether this is some kind of sick trick Microsoft is concocting, or that Bill Gates is in fact, just brain dead, we may never know. Despite this, consumers are now stuck paying for a manufacturer's defect. Sickening. Be proud Microsoft, you have managed to stuff the money of consumers into your pockets, albeit not in the most honest or legal way. Not only does this entire situation prove detrimental to the Xbox 360's reliability, but also comes in question the reliability of all Microsoft hardware and software in general. How would one consumer know that his Windows Vista wont crap out on him after a month of use. Of course not, its the devotion and effort by Microsoft's employess which prevent such thing from happening. So then, why wont those employess apply some of that devotion to the proper manufacturing and production of the Xbox 360?

    Xbox 360 Countdown

For a few weeks, I believed me getting a job would never happen, but luck was (for once) on my side! I was referenced for my job and all I simply had to do was send in a resume and application. I got the job! It is my first official job (with the exception of my small-salary position as a paper boy) The job is quite easy and the wages are actually not quite bad. However, I have unintentionally become eye candy for gay pharmacists and to mkae matters worse, working in the downtown district, a haven for both religious crackpots and the conventional psycho who decides to stumble into my workplace. No matter, all I must do is keep this up for a month and I have my 360! Here;s my list of items I intend to buy

    -A Xbox 360 Premium System(BOUGHT)

-Call of Duty 2 and 3 (I'll look into the fourth one once I have more money to spend)

    - Gears of War (A must)

    - A extra controller

    - Dead Rising

    - Bioshock

    - Topspin 2 (Love Tennis)(BOUGHT)

Sadly, my first 360 got the red lights and now, my second one I receive as the result of the last one is now dead as well. As I type this, I await Microsoft to send me a box to put my dearly departed in to await repairs. I still do not know what action I will take in the meantime, perhaps I'll return to Gamecube gaming or become more PC oriented, atleast until my 360 is repaired.

    Cheers!!
