NOOO, I AM REALLY ANGRY NOW, I WROTEAN ABSOLUTELY HUGE BLOG THEN ACCIDENTLY DELETED IT OH MY GOD NO!!!!!!!!!!!Okay, I am going to get over it now, I am a suck-it-up-and-move-on kind of girl...usually.
Hello all. I am writing it all over again, you can only imagine how much anger I feel. So here's a caution: long blog ahead. I haven't written for a while, so I will. Today is my only free day of the week, it's just awesome. *sarcasm* This fortnight's blog features an inclusive Nintendo rant!
So it is rather obvious that I have returned. I was only away overnight, but I am going to be gone from Wednesday until Sunday this week. Seems like forever but oh well.As you know I was at my Uncle and Auntie's house, I got to see my brother and two of my cousins, it was a nice day there because they live in a nicer place, therefore always seeming like a nicer day, we had an awesome fight with all the mud in their backyard after it had been raining, the aftermath was terrible, cold showers and scraping mud off your skin, so fun, except for the parts when it went in your eyes or hair. I have a few pictures that had been taken of us that day, i'll show a couple of them.
This is an Australian backyard for those who ask, the guy with the brown hair and the goofy grin is my wonderful cousin Brad, the girl in the shorts and hat is my younger cousin, Alana, the guy with the curly blonde hair is my younger brother, Stue, and the other one is me quite obviously. The shirt is borrowed from my Auntie!
I only wrote a blog last week, it's not very often that I do write them but I thought I might as well since i'm going again soon. Hmph, they call it holidays, I think of the word 'holiday' as relaxing, but it's not, I am barely home. Today/tonight I stayed up all night and played Super Smash Bros Brawl basically the whole night, much much love for that game. There are heaps of things unlocked now, but I can see myself getting another 5 years or so out of it, which is awesome.I wrote the journal now because I have spare time on my hands. And my feet. Everywhere!God I am so tired, but hyper as well, it's great. We bought coca cola today, lots of it, caffeine always keeps me awake, awesome that stuff is.
Next big thing, well for me anyway, my two Karate Senseis decided I am ready to go for my next belt in the next grading, which is on the 20th of August, I have one month to train hard for it! It is the other ****of Karate in which I have not got a Black belt in, I am currently a Brown belt Black tip in this one, and Black belt in the other. In August i'm going for two black ti ps which is the last grading I have to do, sorry if i'm confusing you!! Either way, i'm darn scared to death of the sparring, I hate getting mpunched because they knock me over. (They're all bigger than me!) ![]()
The place called 'Cranbourne Music' where I did the two weeks of work experience at has offered me a part-time job there, i'm so happy about that! I accepted it, i've never worked before but at least I know about all of the stuff already, sure beats working at McDonalds!
I also got my Semester one school report, I did average on the Maths and Science parts, and Health, it doesn't interest me, I got good for English, my best two were Music and Programming, which I am glad about.
Either than that, see you all around for the next few days and then i'm off once again!!
Stay well, Caity.
Anyway, I have just finished my 2 weeks of work experience at the Cranbourne Music shop, they liked my work apparently, I only got paid $5 a day, but it is compulsory, so I will be using the all-up $50 to buy an Avenged Sevenfold City of Evil tablature book.
After these 3 days of away, I am coming back for a few days, then going again for a bit, but after that, I get a whole week of holidays remaining to stay home, go on the computer and play video games!!! (Brawl ftw), no more game drought for a long while, Melee lasted me over 5 years, so should Brawl. Also, my exams are all completely over until school starts back again, so I get my results in the mail half way through the holidays, they sure know how to create suspense.
Stay well guys! I'll miss you all.
This is probably my last day I will have a lot of spare time on my hands. But I will still post at every possible moment I get.
The school term is finished for me now. The next two weeks are going to be work experience. I am going to do my work experience at the 'Cranbourne Music shop'. It just so happens that one of the black belts in my karate class is the boss of the shop, so i will work with him for two weeks. I'm going to learn how to set up drum kits and be able to play the awesome guitars that I can't afford during my lunch break, so it's going to be pretty good I think. The work is 9am-5pm every weekday so I doubt I will be on as often, but only for the two weeks.
After that is over, I get two weeks of holidays, internet, games, here I come. Aren't holidays just the best? And if it's anything that could make it better, Super Smash Bros Brawl is out on the 26th of June, one day before the holidays start. I'll be getting that on release date, and since we can't afford it, we're trading in 'Sonic and the secret of the ring' and 'Mario party 8' to get it for free. That's awesome! It is also confirmed that we are getting a PS3 in September, along with Soul Calibur IV, the previews look more and more awesome, and we get Darth Vader! yeah...Starwars is awesome. Final Fantasy XIII is rumoured to be coming out in December 2008, and Starwars: force unleashed is in September.
My exams are over for now, there were seven last week. I did well on every one but science, and it annoys me because i'm good in class, I just suck at the exam. Ah well, can't be good at everything! Oh and for those of you who like Heavy metal and rock music, if you haven't already, I suggest you hear 'scream' and 'chapter four' from Avenged Sevenfold. They are great.
My new favorite anime is one called 'Macross Frontier'. It's a continuation of the old giant robot anime series 'Robotech'. I love it so much and I have only seen 10 episodes. It's only in Japanese and I am up-to-date.
Thanks for sitting through this, hope you're all good! Seeya!!
I made heaps of really good friends in this one year and reached level 20 so far, thankyou to all of you awesome people, that's why I have stayed. I enjoy every bit of being the head officer for the Chillin Zone and the leader of the Pure Gamers Alliance.
So annnyway, my exams and that are in 4 to 5 weeks from now and I am having revision thrown at me from every direction at the moment. I am online weekends and sometimes before school but that's pretty much it lately. Okay, on to gaming...I GOT MARIOKART WII! That called for capitals. It is epic, unfair, the beginners and veterans can be equal easily and the Mariokart syndrome is as good as ever. (Owch!) My new least-favorite item is the pow block, following the darn blooper. It is far more effective than the DS version. I have been really into trying to max out Castlevania: dawn of sorrow for DS again and also Dawn of war for PC which I have borrowed from a friend. I am coming very close to having enough money to go halves with my Grandmother for Guitar Hero 3. I cannot wait. And for those who are curious, (if there are any of you), the actual making of my games are on hold as I am learning a new coding program at the moment, it is sort of similar to C#, once I understand it well enough, i'll get back to the game making.
This Saturday I am going to the AFL Football with my friends for a birthday, it's not that exiting because my team is versing the undefeated team. I go for the Collingwood Magpies. We're versing Hawthorn. Also, on the 10th of May the concert I am going to is on in the city. It is Bullet for my Valentine, Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold in one. That shall be just awesome.
From the recommendation of iSa91, I will play this tagging game, but I really do not know how it works. Something like 5 unknown facts was it? Well I guess I will try it since I am already writing a blog...
1) I have been training in Karate since I was 6 years old. I barely ever miss a session. I acheived 1st dan black belt when I was 13. The people in my family and my friends pretend to be scared of me, but I am really not that physically strong as I am rather small, but I enjoy the martial-art itself and the mental part of it all.
2) I have literally memorised the entire script of every Young ones episode made. There were only 12 but I have watched them atleast 20 times each. The same thing goes for each of the Starwars movies. I know those lines and use them on a regular basis.
3) I live with my Grandmother, for reasons I don't think I will go into on a blog, she plays the role of my mother, father, brother and sister. I appreciate everything she does for me as she pays for my schooling and still works to keep our house regardless of her age.
4) I am Lactose Intolerant, it is severely annoying and Easter sucks. I guess this one is pretty self-explanatory. I cannot have cheese, milk, chocolate, cream, etc.
5) I have Anxiety and it makes me sick, I have my own Phychologist. >_> It sucks, they make me talk. I need to talk about things alot more apparently.
DONE! Phew! I know it is a painfully long blog, but I don't write them oftens so I have alot to say, sorry! Note: No, I do not have brawl for those who ask for my code, I have a MarioKart Wii one, I am still waiting for Brawl. And HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY to you, Luke!! I hope you get lots of good games and enjoy.
If there's anyway I can avertise this, it's the title. I haven't actually updated my profile/blog or anything else since the new year begun. Read as much as you want of it, as it may be a large amount of words for some.
EDIT: UPDATE OF MY GAME MAKING STUFF IS NOW HERE! It is in picture form with explanations of course as some of you may not have a program to run it in
The school holidays have now began and Easter is tomorrow, Easter is not that good nowerdays for me since I am Lactose intolerant. I have to be given all the alternative chocolate instead, I think i'd ratherbe given a box of leaves for Easter!
It's been quite a good few days of the beginning of the holidays. The weird ones (that is the name of my group) all went down to the usual spot for 3 and a half hours and played 4040 hide n seek for a majority of the time. I'm quite good at that game, except for when your fellow weird ones pretend to have not have found you yet, and you run to base thinking you are a superstar but you end up being 'it'. Damn intelligence.
So anyway, my mate Jase has broken a bone in his foot, and Andy has broken his ankle, I think I may be next ![]()
Animania is coming up next month, it is an anime and gaming convention, so I will buy a few things and verse a few people! And I am also going to this Nintendo/other games thing in April-June in the federation square with a few mates so that should be jolly. I am getting more internet time for the time being because of the two week holiday break. I still have math revision to do, even on the holidays, but then again, I have Mrs Buff so there's no surprise at all there. We're also looking into going to the Avenged sevenfold concert in festival hall in the city on May 10th so that's another big thing to look forward to.
I have made 3 recent accomplishments. First of all, I am making my own Zelda game. It's pretty dated, I am using blitz, a coding game-making program that is reasonably cheap, it's some real fun (and frustration) to make. Secondly, I have clocked the game 'Zack and Wiki' on the Wii. It is a strategy game, and when I say strategy game, I mean it! I recommend to those who have the Wii console to purchase this game next time they are experiencing a game drought as it is a great way to spend one week of your life!! And lastly, yesterday my Uncle and I were playing super smash bros melee, I have completely ran out of challenges on the game, so I decided to play the game with my feet. To much of our surprise, I managed to defeat a level 9 computer, that is the highest level in difficulty for those who do not know, and aye, with my feet.
I am getting more and more angry with the Mariokart Wii release dates as Australia was originally first, now it's Japan, then Europe, then Oz, THEN America. I am still waiting for Brawl but I think I may be getting a freeloader. If that's the case I don't have much longer to wait. I find myself just staring into the games shelf recently and having absolutely nothing to play, i'm sure 99% of you know how that feels. I've tried to keep myself occupied game-wise by re-clocking some of the adventure/role-playing games I have again >_> "Didn't you clock that last month??" "Yeah....."
So that brings this updated blog to a conclusion.
So stay well, GNA.
Remember:
I've recently added to my collection.
I've reviewed the legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, it's one of my all-time favorite games!
And I have also rated quite a few games since it doesn't take that long.My Recent Reviews
