  it's been a while...

  so quickly...told ya about uconn (hey, a co-championship is better than none), crackdown totally ruled, god hand was a lot more fun than anyone could have told me, and the new england patriots SUCK!!!! HAHAHAHA!

  go huskies!

  following UCONN's beating of #10 South Florida, they should definitely reach the top 20 in the BCS, and at least get ranked in the AP and ESPN polls. they are now 3-0 in Big East play, and 7-1 overall on the year. if it wasn't for that damn last second FG by Virginia, they'd be 8-0 and probably in the top 15. oh well, Rutgers is the next victim on the Huskies' 2007 Big East Championship run.

  it's a whole new ballgame...

  so my hard drive finally died last week...luckily, i had a co-worker back-up all my files for me just a few days before it finally gave out, so all is well. thankfully. i decided just to get a new pc and start fresh, finally getting my gaming rig, to go along with my 22" lcd samsung flat widescreen monitor. i ended up getting a Gateway GM5626 for like $799, and this thing freakin' pwns! 500 GB, 3 GB ram, nvidia 8500, dvd-rw+, it just goes on and on. i can finally play all the new games, and with advanced/heavy settings. time to get back into pc gaming, like it was 1996-2002 again for me.

  i'm gonna start getting more games, especially for my pc in november. i decided on october 1st to go the WHOLE MONTH without buying a SINGLE game, for 3 reasons. 1, to save up some money for stuff (i've been buying games off ebay and at gamestop like a bandit recently, and it turns out it was a good idea, with me needing to get a new pc). 2, so i can catch up with the dozen or so dvds i've also purchased recently, as well as to get my new pc off the ground, demoing new games and d/ling more mp3s and such. finally, i wanted to see if i could do it. so far, it's been pretty easy.

  i've only been to a gamestop/eb games once this month, last night with a friend so he could geta game. even though i've been to best buy/circuit city a few times the last week to research and purchase my new pc and a 500 GB external HD for back-up (i got smart!), i've just been checking out pc games to d/load and perhaps get. this is gonna be easy.

  this winter is going to be killer rad, and i can't wait!
