  Coming to an end?

  Well after signing up for an account here back in 2005 and only really using the site for cheats, reviews and general news until 2006 when i started using more of the community features of the site. I got quite involved in the forums and unions i was spending a lot of tme on them and was very busy posting. However over the past 6 months i have started to use the site less and less but not just that i am actually playing video games less and less.

  The past couple of months i have bought about 10-12 games and have hardly played any of them. I have had Resistance 2 for nearly two weeks now and have still yet to even take the disc out of the box. That was just an example basically all the games i have bought lately are similar or i might of put an hour or two at most that is it.

  This is why i have i wouldn't say grown out of video games but i just don't have time for gaming anymore with work and my social life which has been very busy and i just don't get drawn to play video games anymore.

  This holiday i think will be my last big holiday season for gaming after buying around 10-12 games and not really playing any of them i think while the hobby has been awesome it has come to an end for me. I'm sure i will still play video games but it will probably only be an hour or so a weekat best.

  This is it then im leaving Gamespot i will pop in every now and againand it will be the same with gaming i will be online every now and again that's it though.

  I have had an amazing weekend

  Ok to start things off i had the weekend off which is the first in a very long time.

  Friday

  So on friday went into town with a few of my mates to do some shopping to get some new stuff for the party on friday night and the PS3. I got everything i planned on getting spent a fair bit nearly £500 in total but £350 of that was on the PS3. I didn't have much time at all to play on the PS3 as i was meeting my mates early i had enough time to set it up and have a play around for about 30 minutes but that was it before i had to get ready.

  Went and met up with a couple of my mates had a couple before we went to meet up with a few others had one there then off to meet up with the rest of the group. We had a few there was such a chilled out atmosphere it really was awesomesad we had to leave to be honest but we had to make our way over to the main party. The chilled out atmosphere just seemed to continue there absolutely no drama which there is always some on our nights out however small that may be but there was none this night.

  We ended up staying out til the clubs closed which is about 3:30am so we then headed over to a mates house to crash there. I think we were up until like 5:00am just joking around and general drunkeness lol but the night was such a laugh didn't want it to end.

  Saturday

  Saturday involved the dreaded walk back into town as none of us had money for a taxi and i don't know if it is just in our heads but we all thought everyone was looking at us and at that time it is generally only the older people out. We got cash from the cash point then headed for a taxi the driver knew we hadn't been home but he was such a laugh telling jokes and having general banter. The rest of Saturday was basically spent chilling out catching up on some sleep as comfy as the sofa can be it can't beat a bed lol also ringing around trying to put the night together because i couldn't remember everything. The hangover was ok though which i was chuffed about to be honest i was dreading that as i didn't eat anything before ging out as we were meant to go for a meal but didn't.

  Sunday(Today so far)

  I got up really late today watched the Liverpool vs Chelsea game absolutely outstanding performance by Liverpool really proud of how they played. They seemed to sit backafter the goal and stayed that way for the rest of the first half i was quite disappointed by that because you know it would be only a matter of time before Chelsea scored if they continued. They made it to half time with it 1-0 and then second half i have nothing but praise for their attitude they didn't sit back and were happy to commit a few more men when going forward and i think that is what won the game at te end of the day.

  Liverpool are now 3 points clear at the tp of the table and i have been very impressed with how they playing this year they definitely have that attitude that can win the title and i hope it continues but i just don't think the squad is strong enough overall to keep this up til the end but there are major signs it is finally going in the right direction.

  Getting a PS3 very soon

  

  I have been meaning to get a PS3 for a very long time now but something had always come up which stopped me normally lack of money or other commitments but when i get paid on Friday i will have the money ready to get one.

  The only thing i have to do is decide where to buy it from and that will come down to which store has the best deals and from the looks of it i think it is Gamestation who are offering 80GB PS3 + MGS4 + COD4 for £340 which i think is quite reasonable and it comes with two games i want and know i will get plenty of use out of. I haven't seen a better offer than that in any of the other stores so i think that will be the offer i go with i just hope they don't change it by then.

  I have a few games preordered for it already like LittleBigPlanet, Socom Confrontation, Resistance 2 and Motorstorm Pacific Rift but i will also pick up a few other games like Uncharted, Resistance and maybe Motorstorm also Burnout Paradise since i can get that really cheap. So i am looking at getting a PS3 collection of about 10 games between now and the end of the year which isn't too bad.
