Great Poem
Lately I have been reading a book that deals with the antitheistic thought pattern that our world (especially N.America) has been diving into. The book is titled Can Man Live Without God by Ravi Zacharias, and I highly recommend it to anybody that is curious about God or that already believes and is interested in learning more about what a secular mind set.
Within the book I found a great poem (written by Steve Turner) that I thought some of you may enjoy, I know I did. The poem really makes you think. It is a satrical poem based on the modern man: Here is the link
I attempted to post the poem directly in the blog but it wouldn't let me, so make sure to check out the provided link.
Remember to post what you think in the comments section!

What are your Thoughts?
I'm writing this to get some feedback on everyone's opinion the the issue of God. So I quickly threw up a couple of paragraphs and I'd like to know what you thought about what what I wrote.
All the time I hear people say how full of crap God is and the Bible is, but has anybody read the hundreds of prophecies that have come true which were written 2-4 thousand years ago without a single error...ever? If there had been one error then you could say God doesn't exist, but the fact that all have come true leads to the only conclusion that the bible is divine.
If you really think the universe has no God looking over it then you have come to the conclusion that either the universe has been around forever or that it came into existence. If it has been around forever then it is the only thing that does not live and die (seeing as everything in the universe does). This reason makes no sense because everything lives and dies in the universe.
Secondly it is impossible for it to just come into existence. For example 0+0=0....if you agree with the universe coming into existence then you must agree that 0+0=everything....which makes no sense. The fact that the universe is here means that something must of been around forever, because if at anytime there was nothing, there would always be nothing. But if at anytime there is something (aka the universe) there there must of always been something (God).
Again if you come to the conclusion that there is no God then I honestly can't see how you get up everyday. With this conclusion on life, you have inherently made the decision that life is completely meaningless and everything you do actually means nothing. All loved ones, friends, things you enjoy, and memories are completely meaningless because the entire universe just appeared for no reason (hence everything has no reason).
So what are your stances on the issue? Do you believe in God or not? I'd like people to give reasons as well and I'll post a reply in another blog post.
Ps. I actually wrote this for somewhere else but figured I'd put it here as well

I'm Back
Hello, I just got back from my vacation. It was alot of fun, the weather was fantastic and I even saw the Grand Canyon! I couldn't belive how big it actually was, it was defenately a place everyone should see once. But boy the weather was just nice, it did rain one day though. But when I landed in Phoenix at 11pm it was 87 outside! and it had just snowed the night before where I live, so it was a nice change
Well I hope everyone had a good time whether you were on spring break or not and I'll talk to you guys either later today or tomorrow. (I have alot of homework to do today
)
On an unrelated note I picked up Motorstorm before I left and I also just picked up Oblivion! I've barely touched Motorstorm but it seems to be quite fun and Oblivion is still in plastic. I should probably finish the Resistance singleplayer eh?- Posted Mar 25, 2007 9:17 am PT
