And it left me a little bit on the traumatised side.

To be honest it wasnt as awesome as I was expecting. Not that it wasnt awesome but I was kind of expecting a big huge fight with demon minions and a big fight to the death with Lilith. She wasnt all that difficult to get rid of, although in fairness that was because of Sammy doing....whatever it was he did.

I did like how Lilith turned out to be in Ruby's body because I totally did not see that coming! Ruby/Katie Cassidy as Lilith was so very creepy. Not as creepy as that little girl mind you.

Anyway back to the important stuff...

The end! Oh my god the end! Dean wasnt just killed, he was ripped apart! With blood spurting and bones cracking and screaming and more blood spurting, all infront of Sam, who was completely powerless to do anything. And then when he was crying over Dean's body....Jared/Sam in tears always gets me but that...That was just completely totally and utterly heart wrenching (and to be honest completely adorable, Which is a bit sadistic I know).

This however disturbed me quite alot...

Aside from the copious amounts of blood and the fact Dean was screaming in absolute terror for Sam and for someone to help him, which by the way was disturbing enough, look at the meat hooks!! There are meat hooks through Dean!! MEAT HOOKS! THROUGH DEAN!

I cant wait for season 4 now. Even if I do have to wait until like February...*huff*

On the plus side, no more Bela! *dances*. I really didnt like her, and infact spent most of the season hoping Dean would smack her about a bit. Not that I dont think Lauren Cohen did a great job, I just dont like the character. But now that she's been mauled to death by hellhounds too she wont be coming back. No reall, Lauren Cohen wont be back for season 4. So I hear. Woo.

Anyway, Im going to go look at some pretty pictures from previous happier episodes to try and get over that whole meat hook thing...

Lana, Lex and Al and Miles are ditching the show?!

Like Ive said before I havent seen any of season 7 yet so maybe it fits. Maybe it makes sense with the story or something (dont tell me anything about it though!).

Ive never liked Lana. She used to irritate me so much in the earlier seasons with her permanent puppy eyes and her Clark-its-all-your-fault-all-the-time! nonsense and her Clark-youre-never-honest-with-me whining. Every time she was in a scene I couldnt help but make snarky comments at the tv and every week I hoped she would be killed off, or at least leave. Remember Crisis in season 3 (I think?) where Adam shot her...Or the time she got trampled by the horse before that? Or when she left for Paris at the end of season 3...Got my hopes up so many times.

She did get better in later seasons but I still dont like her. Now though after so many years of wishing for a Lana-free season for Kristin to leave when theres only 1 season left does seem a little silly.

Apparently Laura "Supergirl" Vandervoort is leaving too but she was only in it for the 7th season. She hasnt been there from the start unlike Al Gough, Miles Miller, Michael Rosenbaum and Kristin Kreuk so her departure wont really have much of an effect. It wont totally totally change the show.

I dont know, maybe it'll be ok but I cant help but feel they should all just stick around for the last year. Why do they all feel the need to "move on" and "move in a different direction" and "advance their careers" now after 7 years? Whats one more year?

Also being on a show like that guarantees work and income. Why leave that? Why not stick around for another year of steady work rather than look for roles in movies or other shows or whatever theyre planning to do and maybe not have work for a while?

It just makes me a bit apprehensive about season 8. If alot of the cast, and more importantly the original cast, wont be in it any more will the 8th season suck beyond belief? I know Smallville isnt exactly the greatest show on tv anyway but will this just make it worse?

I had my last exam today (Woo hoo for uni being finished for the summer!) so Im now at home watching season one of Angel.

I heart Doyle. But anyway the point of this blog is I was thinking Glenn Quinn would have been perfect as Gerry in P.S I Love You. That character is a silly, playful Irish guy. Dont get me wrong, Gerard Butler was pretty good (apart from his attempt at an Irish accent but I like him so Ill ignore that horror for the moment). Glenn Quinn was Irish so he could have been the silly playful guy but with a good accent.

Damn him and his drug over dose. He would have been so amazing.

Anyone else think he would have been good in that part or just me?

So yesterday kind of sucked out loud. Nothing particularly bad (and definately not worth 4 bads like the title has) but just lots of little things that accumulated to make the day really crappy.

Firstly, I had to get up at 6am which is bad for me because I dont do mornings at all. I consider 10 or 11am early. The whole reason for getting up so early was I had an exam yesterday. A geography exam which I wasnt very confident about and if I fail it I dont get into 3rd year of university. So no pressure...

The exam wasnt great but not as bad as I was expecting it to be, although I did have a minor panic when I read the questions. There were 8 essay type questions and we had to do 3 and when I first read them I had no idea about any of them. Hence the minor panic. Once I calmed down a bit I realised that there was one I could definately do and 2 that I could mostly do but would have to BS my way through a little bit. So I dont think I totally tanked it but we'll see.

Thankfully yesterday was really sunny. If I had come out of that exam feeling a bit rubbish to find it was raining I think I would have been looking for a bridge to jump off. Lol not really, thats a bit drastic. So I was standing outide in the sun chatting to a bunch of people from the c!ass including the guy I happen to like, everyone in a pretty good mood because the exam was over when we all decided to go for a celebratory drink. All was good. Until my friend tells me that said guy was out on a date with this girl the other night. "This girl" is also my friend. Shes a new friend though and she doesnt know I like that guy so theres nothing bad about that part. So not in the greatest mood ever because this seems to happen to me alot and its irritating. Especially since I thought the guy perhaps maybe liked me too from some of the things hes said to me.

Anyway, the seven of us spent a couple of hours sitting in the students union just generally chatting away which should have been good because the guys that were there were hilarious so there was much laughter, and the guy I like was there too. However so was the girl. They werent sitting anywhere near each other so there wasnt a problem but the knowledge of their date was still there...

To cut a large chunk out the story, we all ended up sitting in the back garden of another girl from our geography c!ass having a BBQ. This time with the guy and the girl sitting beside each other chatting away and being all giggly. And they disappeared off to "the shop" together. They actually did because they came back with ice lollies but still...

As if I wasnt in a bad enough mood with that, sitting in the sun all afternoon gave me a really really sore head and after we left we went via the uni to pick up an assigment that had been marked and I didnt do so great.

See, nothing big or important just lots of little things. And the guy. So kind of gutted about that. Theres always some other girl whos better than me. It happens alot. You'd think Id be used to it by now...

Whats up with Michael Rosenbaum leaving Smallville?! How can Lex not be in a Superman related show. Who's going to cause all the trouble once he leaves? Whos Clark going to blame for everything? (ooh...b!tchy). Apparently theyre bringing in two new villans to wreak havoc once he's gone. See Lex is such an awesome villain that they need 2 just to fill his very expensive, billionaire shoes.

I havent seen any of season 7 yet so maybe it all makes sense. Maybe they're writing him out it an totally cool way (dont tell me anything!! I hate spoilers and I will set the dogs on you! Theyre cranky too - havent been fed in weeks...)

It wont be the same without him though. Im not a huge Lex fan or anything but it will be. It'll be really different, and kind of strange. I cant decide if its good that Rosenbaum has waited till the last season to leave or if it will just make the final season a bit crap.

I havent written a blog on here for a really long time - oops, so I thought Id just do something about that right now. I have to start with a rant though, sorry.

Do I look like a carpet? Cuz people seem to think its ok to just walk all over me.
Maybe its my own fault. Maybe I let them. Im too nice to people and I never tell people how I feel about them - particularly if they've pi**ed me off. Mostly cuz I dont do confrontation.
People seem to think its ok to treat me like s**t, like im just there for their convenience.
Im everyone best friend when theres no one else around or when they're after something but as soon as someone better comes along, thats it, im just tossed aside. I dont know, maybe theres just something about me...
It'd be nice to know what it feels like to be appreciated rather than totally used and taken for granted.

Ive been watching The Big Bang Theory. My friend recommended it to me, said it was funny so I checked it out and wow was he right! Ive never laughed so much at any tv show ever. There were several moments I was laughing so hard I was having issues breathing.

It's so geeky, like ridiculously geeky, some of the stuff they come out with is crazy (but then ive never understood physics) but just so funny. If you're looking for something to watch, give it a go - pretty sure you'd love it

I also watched the first episode of Gossip Girl. It was decent. I think i might enjoy it once I watch a bit more. Plus Kristen Bell narrates it and she's always awesome. Then theres Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford *melts*, *melts more at Chace's eyes*.

Apparently Chace Crawford is currently dating Carrie Underwood. Much as I love her, she makes me sick. Sick with envy I mean. Some girls have all the luck (and great genes...).

So whats going on with the writers strike? I havent heard anything for a while. Because the UK starts airing stuff weeks after the US we thankfully still have new episodes to see since we haven't yet run out of episodes written pre-strike. Some shows are starting to run out though, like Men In Trees. That was annoying - I want to know whats going to happen with Jack. Dont tell me though!!!! Spoilers make me mad, like Hulk mad. Seriously.

Where'd summer go?! We've totally bypassed summer and gone straight from spring to autumn.This summer has sucked so much. For example, its been raining non stop for the last 2 days. Last summer half our year at school went to the beach the day after our last ever day of high school and it was a great day. It was a really hot, sunny day and everyone had fun. We were going to do it again this summer but we haven't seen any sun! Ok so theres been a few days but most of the time its been cloudy and not very warm or raining. I know its Scotland and we're kind of famed for our crappy weather but our summers are usually good. Ive been in jeans and long sleeved tops all summer! I was really looking forward to this summer and was planning to just hang out with friends, taking random trips to the beach or out for wanders around the woods or lying about a park all day but nooooo.

Wish I was still in Arizona/Utah/Nevada - it was over 100F every day we were on holiday. Ok thats a bit hot but at least its hot n sunny. *huffs*

Bet the weather gets good about september when university starts up again.

Theres 5 albums Im currently addicted to. Theyre all my Ipod plays at the moment and Im pretty sure its getting sick of them. There arent many albums I can listen to all the way through and really say I love all the tracks.I can definately say that about these albums though. In no particular order.....

Livin' on the Run - Scott Grimes

Is anyone thinking, hey, he looks reeeallly familiar? Its Dr Morris from ER. Totally awesome album. Its great roadtrip music. Sounds very Bruce Springsteen-y. My favourite tracks are Livin' on the run (makes me smile, without fail, every time), Summerthing (very upbeat and happy and not surprisingly, summery), Carrie (less upbeat but its pretty) and I wanna be there. There isnt a single bad song on this album.

Paramore - Riot!

Paramore's first album was pretty good. There were one or two songs I wasnt too crazy about but over all it was good.This album is so much better than the first! Every song is great. Theres a good mix of upbeat, rocky songs and slow almost ballad-y sounding songs. Haley Williams, the singer has an impressive voice, especially considering she's only 18.

Favourite tracks - Thats what you get, Misery business, When it rains, Crush Crush Crush (amazing song! Probably the best on the album) and Fences.

Lifehouse - Who we are

Words cannot express how much I love Lifehouse. They are my all time favourite band. They have quite a distinctive sound because Jason Wade has an unusual voice. Their previous 3 albums were amazing but Who We Are is, in my opinion, the best yet. I couldnt possibly pick a favourite song (although First time, Who we are and Disarray are particularly good). The only not so good one is Storm.

Maroon 5 - It wont be soon before too long

This album wins the award for most confusing album name. I fell in love with Maroon 5s first album "Songs about Jane" pretty much the first time I listened to it. This one had the same effect.Great album with lots of dance-worthy tunes. Good for parties. Adam Lavine is another guy with a really distinctive voice. This is another one where I cant pick a definate favourite track. Cant stop, Kiwi and Makes me wonder are really pretty fabulous however.

Daughtry - Daughtry

Apparently Chris Daughtry was on American Idol. I didnt know that till I was told the other day cuz I dont watch it. My friend introduced me to this album a couple of weeks ago and its another one I fell in love with. Sounds quite like 3 doors down but with a bitmore variation. Theres some rocky tracks, some really rocky tracks, some slower more mellow tracks, great lyrics, a great voice and great guitar moments (including an appearance by Slash) which all come together very nicely.

Just before I start, despite the little annoyances, I Love Gilmore Girls. Its funny and quick witted and the relationships are awesome. But hello, over-reaction, thy name is Lorelai. And Dean. And Jess. And Emily. And Richard. And Rory. Ok, point made I think.

The tinyest little things turn the characters into ranting crazy people.

Example one: In the season one ep "Star crossed lovers and other strangers" Dean tells Rory he loves her. She, taken by surprise, doesnt say it back. Dean freaks out and breaks up with her. I mean come on. He's her first boyfriend, its bound to take her by surprise. Break up? Over reaction much?

Example two: In season two, "Teach me tonight", Rory and Jess are out for a drive. Jess is driving Rory's car (not entirely sure why) and some form of small animal runs out infront of the car, Jess swerves to avoid hitting it and they crash. They're both totally fine apart from Rory's broken wrist. Sure a broken wrist is bad but its not awful. Lorelai freaks out spectacularly and wants to kill Jess, Christopher rushes to the hospital and wants to kill Jess, the whole town wants to kill Jess, Lorelai blames it all on Luke and they have a massive blow-out, Lorelai takes Rory home and insists she stays in her bed and fusses over her like she has some horrible disease and rants. Alot.... I understand the whole "it could have been so much worse" thing but she only broke her wrist!

Example three: In season three's "Let the games begin", Richard takes Rory, Lorelai and Emily on a tour of Yale. Turns out he's organised an interview for Rory without anyone knowing. Rory isnt happy about it because she was totally unprepared (despite the fact the interviewer loved her), Lorelai freaks out because her father is medling yet again, Emily freaks out because Richard did it all in secret and lied to her... Ok so he shouldn't have done it all in secret but he was trying to help. It was all done with good intentions (apart from the fact he would rather Rory went to Yale than Harvard).

As for the guys in Rory's life. Dean, while he is really really lovely and sweet and loves her to bits and all the rest of it, hes so jealous. He stops talking to her over silly things. Then again,because hes so nice, she does kinda treat him like crap sometimes, like a lap dog (but as we all know, Sam Winchester is a puppy so...). Jess on the other hand, has his moments when hes really lovely but most of the time hes huffy as hell and totally obnoxious. To everyone! Yes, hes not had the greatest life and has had some tough breaks but talk about biting the hand that feeds him. Jess honey, lighten up and realise when you've got a good thing going in Stars Hollow

Wow its been a really long time since I posted a blog entry. I guess I havent have much to say lately. Still dont but I figured I should write something.

Just back from holiday. Spent 2 weeks doing the national parks along the Utah/Arizona border (Im doing geography and environmental science at uni so Im interested in erosion and rocks and rock formations....yes I know, Im a big geek) then a week in Las Vegas. It was great. Insanely hot though - over 100F every day and for someone from a country where 75F is a hot day, that hard to adjust to. Almost died twice. Ok thats maybe a bit of an exaggeration. We went for a walk the first day we were there, middle of the desert in over 100F and obviously not enough water. So by the time we wandered through the canyon and got back to the car I was close to passing out, my mum did pass out (that was fun, her lying in the sand with passers by giving her water and checking she was ok - talk about drawing attention), my brother was up chucking everywhere...*shakes head*.

We did learn our lesson after that. Mostly. Later on in the holiday we were in Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and decided to go wander through the sand dunes. We did have loads of water this time but the dunes were further away than they looked. We were also out for longer than we expected/realised/meant to so walking back from the dunes to the car we ran out of water. Did get close to passing out but didnt. Felt really ill though.

Ok so it must have beenobvious we were tourists. We've been going to the states every summer for 12 years so its not like we dont know we need water and all the rest of it. Misjudgment on our part lol.We went on loads of walks in that two weeks so dehydrating twice probably isnt that bad...hmmm....

We also drove through the creepiest town. It was honestlystraight out of Supernatural! It was one of those really little towns whereeveryone knows everyone and they clearly dont like outsiders. We drove up to crossroads and there was a truck with one guy in it who watched us drive past. Then we turned around and drove back out via the same crossroads. Beside said crossroads was a little cafe with only two people in it! Both of whom watched us drive past. They were the only 3 people we saw in the whole town. It had a poulation of 450 so where was everyone else? Then justafter we left the town a battery powered thing we were using mysteriously up anddied. Im not kidding. It was quite a funny experience actually, being the Supernaturaladdict that I am.

Now that Im home Ive been re-watching Buffy and not getting a job like people keep trying to make me do. I love Buffy so much. Since it finished Ive only ever watched random episodes, never watched them in order. So Im rewatching them all from the start. I'd forgotten how awesome it is!!! Almost finished season 3.I love Xander. I never used to be all that bothered about him but hes just so funny and quick and sarcastic and snarky. Hes great.

Y'know considering I dont have much to say Ive managed to write alot. About nothing of interest either. Oops. If you managed tostick it out,well done.

I just read something about the new Dukes of Hazzard movie thats being made. To be honest I had forgotten such a movie was being made - with good reason too! The first one was bad enough. The characters were all wrong (eg. Uncle Jesse as a dirty old man rather than the sweet, God fearing man he was in the original series), the cast was even more wrong and little things that happened just went so against the basic ideas of the series. Like the moonshine. Bo and Luke would never have touched moonishine incase they were caught with it because it was why they were on probation in the first place, yet in the movie they were transporting it in the General Lee! Im not gonna go into it any more because It really annoys me and I tend to rant. Alot.

Now I read about the second movie which is supposed to be a prequel. The cast has changed (apart from Willie Nelson still being Uncles Jesse. Unfortunately.) which is good because it is a prequel so the characters need to be younger and also Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville sucked out loud! I.M.O anyway. Its now Jonathan Bennett as Bo (which is a bit wierd since he was in an ep of Smallville with John Schneider the original Bo Duke) and *checks*...Randy Wayne as Luke. They could pass as teenage Bo and Luke I guess but if this movie is as moronic as the first one I may actually have to cause pain to the movie crew. Or not lol.

Its supposed to be a teenage Bo and Luke who go to Hazzard after some kind of run in with the law so they go to help Jesse on his farm. Nothing wrong with that you may say.... In the series is it made perfectly clear (possibly even stated) that Bo, Luke and Daisy go to Hazzard as toddlers after their parents are killed in a car accident. Oh look, another Dukes movie crapping up the original series ideas. Why even bother?! People hated the first movie, they even got angry about it. Even the original cast hated the movie. It won awards for worst things (rather than things like best movie, it was at least nomiated for things like worst movie). Note to movie execs or directors or whatever - just stop! Right now! You're just embarrasing yourselves!

 Ok now that thats out of my system im gonna stop ranting. Sorry about that.
