Yesterday, the ESA sent me an e-mail telling me that my Media Registration for E3 2009 was accepted and I am now on the list of people entitled to attend the 3 day event in Early June. I felt really glad that I was accepted since the site I write for had some problems with a writer on the French side of the site being denied. Now that I am I know I will be walking around the show floor, I can't wait to experience what is planned from everyone.

The only downside is that I won't be attending any of the Big Three Conferences since space is limited and only the key editors get the privilage of sitting during those. Still, the fact that I will get to see some stuff before the rest of the world is fantastic. Don't get me started at the Parties after the showfloor closes...I am going to love it.

It doesn't end there, I should be getting my GDC Canada Press package in the next few days. GDC Canada will be my precursor to E3 where I will get to practice interviewing companies and seeing games before they hit shelves. I was at PAX last year but that was strictly as a fan, so this will be a new experience from a Journalist perspective.
