Two weeks after ringing, my Xbox has come back, but not before a visit to Germany and back. It got fixed in Frankfurt of all places but is nicely back in its real home. Fixing it was surprisingly swift and easy. Time to go out and purchase GTA

Basically, I won! Seriously, this is the first competition I have ever won since the infamous Most Improved Player at a football course

I get a free game of my choice...if only my 360 was working!

It was inevitable: I got the Red Rings of Death.

I'm not too pleased but it occured at a possible good time as I really need to revise for A levels.

Guess I'm going to go back to the PS2 and good old God of War!

One word: Disappointment

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore the series but this seemed to follow the other console outing, 'Modern Combat', in similar below par standards.

The destructable environments and vehicles were quite entertaining but the aiming was not too great and neither was the actual feel of the weapons. An annoying feature of the beta is that it takes at least 10 seconds of waiting before each respawn and then has the cheek to spawn you miles from the action.

In the meantime, the beta has crashed. But when it returns, I hope I can see it in a new light and Bad Company won't be as Bad as I thought haha...

Yay passed my driving test =D

It didn't feel like my best drive ever because I had loads of nerves but I managed to do it first time and somehow with no faults whatsoever!!

After GDC, my spidey senses and gaming desires for the next year were beginning to tingle. So I thought I'd post what these consisted of by naming what my top 10 most anticipated games of 2008. HERE GOES:

• Rock Band (yes, still not out in the UK)

Some other games I couldn't let go without mention are Mercenaries 2, Too Human, Vigilante 8: Arcade, Metal Slug 7, Metal Gear Solid, Bionic Cammando, APB, Fracture, Fallout 3. There's probably more but I forget easily.
