    We all gotta leave right?

First off, I'm so very sorry for not posting much in blogs/unions. I never got enough time to post properly and I'm really sorry for all that.

Umm.. so ya, my results came out. I got 85.5% for my grade 10. I'm not gonna say I'm happy or anything because I hated these past 2 years in school. Sadly, my parents have refused to send me anywhere else so I'm forced to continue in this hell hole school. Its not so bad... at least my friends are still there

Anyway, I'm taking the "Science with Bio and Maths" stream for my grade 11 (which is basically overkill...) and with the whole problem of running around for tuitions and all the time spent studying... I gotta stop gaming and worst of all, I'm sorry to say but I'm leaving Gamespot.

I thank you guys for all the fun I had here. Its been great having you guys as friends Its also been great knowing (even a little) you all and I pray that you all have a great year ahead.

Look at my avatar : its my last salute to all of you

    Take care.

    Is KiRite Burning Up?

is the first song of the amazing KiRite album. Yasunori Mitsuda has done it again - delivered another quality OST.

Though the whole OST was made, the game wasn't. Apparently the game was near finished and developed, but never published. Eri Kawai provides the vocals for some of the songs in this album. So many emotions can be felt or even derived from this album. Songs like The Market In Volfinor are uplifting, cheerful songs but songs like Nocturne are solemn and sad.

The game had a very intriguing story. It tells the story about a girl who explores the dreams of another girl, who was victim of an accident. Its a really cool concept. Few games are as innovative or excellent sounding as this one.

I feel music is most neglected these days... Games don't sound as good as before. This game(KiRite) wasn't released, but its music was really beautiful. If I switch on the TV or radio, generic main stream trash is all I hear. I mean, come on, how many times can one listen to boring, lifeless hip-hop or rap songs? I'm not dissing those genres, but these days, most of them suck. Really. Sad to see developers pay lot of money for licensed songs...

Innovation... sigh... if I check System Wars, all I see is fanboys fighting to justify their purchase. Its another sad thing. They want multi-player and co-op for every game. Even for games like God Of War which is supposed to be a pure single player game. I wonder how many want some innovative games. I really liked games like Psychonauts, Okami, Braid etc for their uniqueness. They were really innovating. Heck, even World of Goo was innovative. It actually did something different from the norm. How many games re-invent their genres? Few.

Story... ahh... The gaming market seems to be flooded with shooters. And most have stories written by a first-grader. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Gears fanboy, but that game's story sucks. BAD. Its always about save the world... Should'nt games be different? Why not save a section of society? or to protect someone? I wonder how people forget stories in games like Final Fantasy IX, Chrono Cross, Grandia etc. Don't people want games with stories anymore?

I somehow quite pissed off with all the games these days. Its not that I hate them, they're good but compare it with old generation games, (especially the PSX era) our next-gen games are lacking these days in various departments.

Anyways, I hope you people listen to some songs from the aforementioned album. They are really good and worth listening. Have a great day.
