I'm making a MACHINIMA series!!!!
I don't believe I've ever told you guys, but I'm a big fan of Garry's Mod. A sandbox mod for Half-Life 2 that lets you do anything from posing ragdoll characters to building a car from a refrigerator, and in the not-to-distant future, I plan on releasing the first episode in my machinima series known as The Cage. The Cage is a comedy-themed machinima series about 5 characters who life in a large cage. They have been brought to the cage for various reasons ranging from jaywalking, to leading a rebellion against Skynet. All of the characters (including a zombie) have radically different personalities, and sometimes have a hard time getting along. But there is always something crazy going on in The Cage. Expect a more in-depth preview in a few days!

Sorry

Sorry that I couldn't upload my video blog. There were some camera issues and other stuff that screwed it up. So expect it in a few days. We've been taking S.T.A.R. testing at school even though we wen't supposed to, but some issues in the education department made the decision for all freshmen to take it. Oh well, the tests are stupid-easy anyways. A recent update for the game

was released last week offering a fun new map, 36 new achievements, and a new item menu that lets you equipt new items for the different cl@sses. There are only new weapons for the medic right now (you earn them by getting achievements) but Valve promises more in the future. I'm kinda tired right now so that's all for now. Bye!

The perfect 10: A sign of the apocalypse?
I just finished watching the Grand Theft Auto 4 video review. And I was slightly shocked that the hyped up game got a perfect 10. They said the only real problems were some slight AI issues. But I have to wonder, if some of G-Spot's old crew was here like Jeff and Alex, would the game have gotten a perfect 10. This is a perfect example over how G-Spot is almost "pressured" into giving games good scores. After all, that is how Jeff got fired. (He gave Kane & Lynch: Dead Men a low score.) Tell me what you think.

Like the coolest mod ever!

There was a mod for Half-Life 2 announced shortly after the game's release that you easily tell would be the greatest mod of all time. And this mod is known as Black Mesa. Black Mesa is a mod (that's still under development) that is going to re-create the original Half-Life with the Source engine. Shortly after Half-Life 2's release, Valve software releaseda game called Half-Life Source which the called "Half-Life created with the revolutionary Source engine." But it was actually Half-Life with ragdoll physics and more realistic blood effects. The textures and overall graphics remained the same as they did in the 1998 version which ticked off a lot of people. So a mod team decided to make their own version which recreates the entire game on the Source engine with updated graphics. Here are a few pictures from the original game and Black Mesa to compare -

And to top it off, here's the trailer!

Want to know what Purgatory is like? CLICK HERE!
Boy oh boy do I have a lot of school work to do. I apparently wasn't paying enough attention to know that I have a poster on the book To Kill a Mockingbird due tomorrow because I thought it was due next week! So I'm going to spend all of tonight working on that. And to make it even better, I have a Bible poster that due on Thursday! Fortunately, that one will be easier, but it will still be a lot of work. I heard about the GTA 4 problems in Chicago, and I'm consufed over how an ad banner of a guy on his cell phone (in the signature GTA cartoon look) is making people want to pull out their Glocks and start killing each other. I think this makes gaming look bad. While I am not getting GTA 4, I do like launch hype which is one of my favorite things about gaming. (Besides the uh, games that is.) Well, I have to get back to work. So see you later!
